Why cant i get the iTunes version 11.1.4?! All i get is error 7, try reinstalling

I was told to update my iTunes account to 11.1.4 so i did, it then came back with an error and to reinstall.. So i did, it now repeats the same error no matter what version or how many different scenarios i try?! All i get is this error - Service 'Apple Mobile Device' failed to start. Verify you have sufficent privileges to start system services - Any help would be appreciated by a man who is down to 3 albums due to a broken ipod :/ HELP PLEASE!

That bar you refer to is the "Menu Bar" with File, Edit, View, History, bookmarks, Tools, Help. The "Navigation Toolbar" contains the location bar (/address bar) and navigational toolbar buttons like back/forward.
To restore the menu bar use "Alt" to bring up menu bar temporarily then View > Toolbars > (check) Menu bar, and suggest you put tabs bar back to bottom of top toolbars instead of on top. Why Cant I acces the iTunes Store?

I have an iTunes account, downloaded the latest version but i cant access the iTunes store. I even ran the diagnostics checking for the network connection and results were ok, but all i get when i try to open the iTunes store is and error message "Cannot connect make sure network connection is active and try again" My internet connection is ok but i still cant access. I need help please

Can't get the itunes version 8 to uninstall the older version

Does anybody know how to get around uninstalling the older version of itunes so that the version 8 will install?

When you ask a question you need to describe exactly what happened with any error messages, otherwise it is difficult for anyone to help you.
Here is a generic way of dealing with uninstall problems.
Download a fresh copy of iTunes and the stand alone version of Quicktime (the one without iTunes)

Download and install Microsoft Installer cleanup utility, there are instructions on the page as well as the download. Note that what you download is the installer not the program – you have to run it to install the program.
To run the program – All Programs>>Windows Install Cleanup

Now use the following method to remove iTunes and its components:

restart your PC
Install the stand alone Quicktime and check that it works.
If it does, install iTunes.

Why cant I view the international version of a website, only my local version

I wish to vie the Amsterdam version of the Scotch and Soda web store (their head office store). However, when I click on their web address, I am automatically redirected to the Australian store because I reside in Australia. I have disable the Firefox auto geo enabled feature but this does not help. On the left hand side of the page my location is shown as Sydney Australia. If I try to change this to any city that is not in Australia, it does not accept it.
How can I resolve this problem?

You can try to contact them and ask them to provide the ability to access other locations of that site.

I moved my itunes library to my new MacBook Pro from my iMac using an external harddrive following apple's steps. When I plug in my ipod shuffle 4g and try to download voiceover I get The iTunes Library file cannot be saved. An unknown error occured (-54)

I'm just wondering what step I should start with to resolve this. There's probably a library issue but I'm not really sure where to start with that.
I'm pretty sure that the voice over is what is giving the error with itunes because when I try to download it, it won't then the error will pop up after a few moments of itunes trying to download it. Thanks for your support!

Why do cloud subscribers get Adobe Story Plus while CS6 owners only get the free version?

After putting it off since its release, I finally decided to try Story. I'm very happy with my existing screenwriting software but hey, there are these great integration benefits with the post production software I spend my life in so why not?
Well, I just found out those of us who purchased CS6 get the free version of Story while cloud subscribers get Plus. Why? This feels like I'm being penalized for having opted to upgrade from CS5.5 rather than switching over to the cloud. I realize there's a $10 a month option to get Plus but dropping an extra $120 a year when I'm already happy with Movie Magic Screenwriter doesn't make financial sense to me. The only reason I was going to try using Story was for the scheduling tools and the workflow integration but that integration should be part of the Production Premium Suite, not $120 extra per year.
I upgraded to CS6 the day it was released so obviously I can't go back and switch to the cloud and I'm not spending $120 a year so I guess I wont use Story.
Very disappointing Adobe.

Audio cd burn from 11.1 not playing on old version of iTunes on another MAC. error message was cd created on newer version of iTunes. If the disk was a audio cd it should not matter the iTunes version.

I converted all songs on playlist to MP3 and then selected burn playlist and checked audio cd. This worked in itunes 11.0.5. Also itunes 11.1 will not accept the second disk on a cd audio burn. It just keeps telling me to insert a blank disk, no matter how many blank disks are inserted

I think that the operating system is 10.4.11 and iTunes isn't responding to this operating system. I cannot upgrade the operating system to a version any later than what it is as I think it would then go to Tiger.
10.4 is Tiger, and 10.4.11 supports the latest version of iTunes and QuickTime. So either the system isn't at 10.4.11 - your original post said 10.4.1 - or there's something wrong with the system in which case earlier versions of iTunes/QuickTime might well also fail to install.
Please confirm the version of Mac OS X that really is on the system and we'll go from there.

Today, I downloaded the latest version of Itunes.
When it finished installing it came up with the following error:
"iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 127)". I have uninstalled iTunes, and all related Apple software and re-installed iTunes several times and still I get the same error.
I contacted Apple support and was sent two emails. One detailing what needed to be uninstalled and then a web site to go to where I could download and install Microsoft's latest .NET Framework, which apparently was the root cause of the problem.
I did as instructed:Use the Control Panel to uninstall iTunes and related software components in the following order:
1.iTunes
2.QuickTime
3.Apple Software Update
4.Apple Mobile Device Support
5.Bonjour
6.Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later).
Restarted the PC and then downloaded the latest version of Microsoft's .NET Framework - version 4.
Restarted the PC again and received a strange message from some Apple application I have never heard of stating "CoreFoundation.dll file is missing".
I GOOGLEd the message and found out I also needed to unistall another Apple application called MobileMe. So, I did this and restarted the PC again!
I then downloaded the latest version of iTunes, again.
Now I'm getting "The iTunes application could not be opened. An unknown error occurred (-50).
From checking through GOOGLE, I believe it's something to do with user accounts and iTunes not being able to find the music folder???? But the answers I found all relate to Windows 64 pit PC's.
I am running Windows 7, 32 bit on a Sony Vaio laptop.
I cannot get support from Apple as I don't own a MAC. But I do own an iPhone but it's out of warranty.

If you go to the web page "http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1923" and follow the "Verify iTunes and related components are completely uninstalled" it does the trick. There are few other folders and files that alos need to be deleted!
