Why do i get a pop up saying"the Itunes library file cannot be saved. You do not have enough access priviledges for this operation" when i add music to my itunes library?

Why do i keep getting a notice from Itunes saying:
"The Itunes library file cannot be saved. You do not have enough
access privileges for this operation" every time i add music my Itunes library?
