Why do I have to logon each time when opening a office Document from a SharePoint 2010 Library

Hello guys,
I'm facing some design issue with sharepoint 2010 and Microsoft office, hope you can help me to fix this.
Why do I have to logon each time when opening a office Document from a SharePoint Library when I'm already authenticated via the browser?
Please help me to skip this authentication when i try to open office documents from sharepoint library.

Hi Jeyaraman, in addition to Alex's solution, check the following browser settings:
Make sure “Enable protected mode” in security tab & “Require server verification” in “sites” area are unchecked. In “Custom level,” choose “Automatic logon” way at the bottom.

The usual explanation is that it is a licensing issue. It's not Apple refusing to support an MS product (they support loads of others, like QuickLook for Office docs). MS won't let Apple have it. (The Linux-based solutions are third-party reverse engineered.)
That having been said, I've never had a problem plugging an NTFS drive and reading files from it. Why does it take you an hour?
I've never had a problem with a Mac-formatted USB thumb drive not writing either. It's possible that the hardware/software that Apple uses is more sensitive to cheaper thumb drives, but I'm guessing here.

Why do I have to click each time in the "TO" bar to add an additional email address? Before 4.0, I could keep typing and adding more addresses.

When typing people to send my email to, I have ALWAYS been able to start typing and the address pops up, so I select it, then I can start another, and so on. NOW I can only start typing and select ONE email. The cursor is no where to be found and I can only add more email addresses by clicking EACH time in the address bar. HATE THIS!!!!

Updating multiple ipods.Why does it have to download each time?

Hi,
I have 3 ipod touches, mine, and one for each of my sons.
Why is it that when apple comes up with an update like 2.2.1 I have to download it 3 times to update the 3 ipods? I should be able to download the update 1 time and then update all 3 ipods. It is a pain having to download the same file 3 times...
Any idea about this? Am I doing something wrong?

You're doing this via iTunes, right? Which is set up to download and upgrade the firmware/software on the attached device in one operation. However, if you download the firmware/software directly you only need to do it once - the following link shows how you do this on a PC :

If you download the software/firmware directly from the Apple website instead of via iTunes, you will get one item only which you then apply yourself to each device in turn.

Why does Lightroom Require Admin password each time I open it?

Hi,
Just joined the community and downloaded Photoshop as Admin.
I then enter my non-admin user (same PC).
Photoshop works fine - I open it no problem.
Ligghtroom, which I had downloaded a trial version a copule of weeks ago, required me to always enter the Admin pw every time - annoying.
Does anyone know how to stop this happening?

Dave if you create a new Standard account do you face the same password request? Is your computer remotely managed?
I don't believe reinstall Photoshop Lightroom will change the behavior. If you do wish to reinstall though then please see CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/aam-lists-removed-apps-date.html if you face any difficulties with reinstalling Photoshop Lightroom through the Creative Cloud Desktop application.

Why do I have to log multiple times when checking available downloads from iTunes?

It's been going on for some time now.
I'm finally getting around to asking.
Every SINGLE time I download an app update, or purchase something, iTunes makes me log in with my password 2, 3, sometimes 4 times in a row.
All the while, what I purchased/updated is downloading to my Mac.
I am not entering my password incorrectly.
I am already logged in to the iTunes store.
What can I do to make it stop?

Why do I have to verify payment information when I am using credit from an i-tunes card?

I am trying to purchase music using my credit from an i-tunes card but it keeps trying to get me to verify payment information. Does this mean that I should have kept i-tunes card?

I have the same issue, but in my case it will not let me change the payment method to None without entering a valid credit card. I used a prepaid card a while ago and I don't have a credit card so how do I change my payment method if it "requires" me to have a valid credit card first?

Some of the times when I print a document from the internet using my Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro printer, the letters appear in the PDF as symbols, How do I correct the problem?

You can create a signature appearance:
For example, you can include your scanned signature.
1 (Optional) Save the desired image on a page by itself, and convert the page to PDF.
2 Choose Edit > Preferences (Windows) or Acrobat (Mac OS) > Preferences, and select Security.
3 Click New, and type a title.
4 (Optional) Select Imported Graphic, click File, and select the desired file.
5 Specify options as desired.

Why do I have to accept agreement each time I open a CC program?

I have to accept the license agreement each time I open an Adobe CC product. Sometimes I have to relogin to CC. Why is this happening? I should be able to accept the agreement once for a single product and have all products activated, not have to accept the agreement and login each time I open a program. For example, I'm working in Photoshop and have to accept the agreement. With PS open, I open a PDF and have to accept the agreement. I close Photoshop and upon reopen I have to accept the agreement again about 75% of the time. Same with all CC products.
Is the Creative Cloud connector not keeping the registration data or something? All software that I'm using is updated including the cloud connector.

Try launching the app by right clicking and choosing Run as Administrator
Try disabling User Account Control

You should be able to remove it by going to Add-ons, then Extensions. If it's not there, then the free edition of Malwarebytes from http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free should be able to get rid of it for you.

why do i have to store each contact on my iphone twice, once with the country code so that his name will display when i recieve messages from him and another time without the country code so that his name will display when i receive calls from him?
is it something with the software or with my service provider or maybe there is something i should activate in my settings?

Those may be a hidden file under Lion which is why you cannot find it.

I do not know why you were "forced" to download it twice unless you opted for a custom download location the first time. Doesn't happen when I do it. I'm not sure what email you are referring to.

It does slow down quite heavily. e.g. It takes almost 5 mins to just write a simple short email, since ''freezing'' at every 3-4 caracters.
All other programs on the computer work fine in the meantime, though. Including word processor. So it is really a TB issue.
Or is it a GMail issue, forcing download everytime a connection is created ?

IMAP mail accounts see a remote view of the server.
You subscribe to see server Folders.
Headers are downloaded and when you select to view an email, the emails are downloaded to a temp cache to enable quicker access to those emails, but upon exit Thunderbird the temp cache is lost, so you cannot read emails if offline. These emails are not stored on your computer.
If you synchronise subscribed folders, then a copy of the folder is downloaded to Thunderbird Profile folder and stored in an mbox file. This means you can read them even if offline.
However, the folder is set up to synchronise with the server when changes occur, so that your copy and the folder on the server are updated to be the same.
I would recomend that you do not allow folders to get too big as it would take longer to synch.

This is gmails copy of all your emails, so it is gmail Archive of your emails.
This folder can get huge. As it only shows you what you already have in other folders, it also doubles the size of your Profile and can take a while to download. It is recommended that you do not subscribe to see this folder.

Why does the Reminders app crash each time I try to open it on my iPad 2?

At one point, a few weeks ago, I was able to use my Reminders app on my iPad 2, fairly close to perfect. Now, since then, each time I open the app, it freezes or does not allow men to complete reminders or add new ones. If I close the app from Multitasking and try to reopen, it just opens the app but it is blank. What is happening and why does it keep crashing? I like the app to set reminders for upcoming bills but the app seems useless right now until I figure out to make it stop crashing on me. Thank you!

I am having exactly the same problem with my iPhone 4 (running 6.0.1 (10A523)). I have rebooted several times since this started occurring but it doesn't change the behavior. It was also reporting a "storage almost full" error quite often when I still have 1GB - 3GB of free space. As a troubleshooting exercise I removed all my music so there is now 20.1GB free. The storage warning no longer appears but the same issue still persists with reminders. Help, please!
