Why do presenter notes appear on both displays?

On previous presentations I have used presenter notes successfully, but this time they are appearing on both displays or neither. What am I doing wrong please?

I do have Mac 10.6. I followed your link to Mirror Displays in Snow Leopard and then to Mac Help on "Displays".
The solution is that the "Arrangments" tab only appears when the projector or second display is actually connected to the computer. So now I have unselected Mirror setting and all works fine. (Its a mystery how it got set since last year, but that doesn't matter.)
Because of the layout here, when I am connected to (cable) internet I am out of reach of the projector, so did not discover the solution earlier. Thanks again.

Hmmm.. ok.. well you are kind of on your own.. purchasing from another country leads to problems.. especially as the TC itself is regional .. all the setup applies to the region it is sold in.

Make sure all names are short, no spaces and pure alphanumeric.
Do a full reset and start over.
But there are no more controls.. you cannot set mode..
You can set wireless channels.. so do .. try different wireless names for the different bands.. and set fixed channels.. whatever your country allows, usually 2.4ghz you can use 1, 6, 11 but 13 maybe an option as well. 5ghz is much less clear and there are more variation. Just set to one channel and then another.
Set WPA2 Personal security with a 10-20 character password .. pure alphanumeric mix of upper and lower case and numbers.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

Why do some elements of a Powerpoint presentation not appear on screen?

While running through a Powerpoint Presentation, some slides didn't show all elements? is this an issue with how the PPT is built prior to upload? are there specific products that can be installed that would allow for the appearance of all elements in any type of PPT presentation?
I installed the latest add-in and it didn't help. suggestions?

When you up load your PPT file to Connect it converts it into a Flash version of the presentation, so it can be displayed in the room. While it will keep many elements of PPT, some items just don't translate from PPT to Flash. Some of the more common things that I see that don't translate are: slide transistions, some empahsis animations and images that are not JPG or GIF.
The easiest soltuion, if you don't want to change things in your PPT, is to just share your screen and show the PPT in slide show mode (F5).

Keynote transitions do not appear on external display

I am practicing for a big presentation. I have a Macbook Pro connected to a Toshiba LED projector.
I have a beautiful Keynote presentation completed with great transitions, however I have 2 issues:
on the secondary screen for the audience:
1. no transitions appear. The slide just advances to the next slide with no transitions appearing. Why would that be?
2. The picture size for the viewing audience is too small. I'm not sure how to adjust that. I did go into screen displays, but I haven't found the correct setting yet.
I really am concerned about those transitions not appearing.I really want those. Anyone know how I can fix that?

There are a few things you should check:
1) In the Keynote Preferences/Slideshow Preferences window: be sure that the button "Present on Secondary Display" is checked. This puts the presentation onto the projector and should show your transitions as you have created them.
2) Same window, check the box marked "Scale slides up to fit display."
3) To view the "presentation preview" on your own computer screen, check the box "Use alternate display to view presenter information" in the Keynote Preferences / Presenter Display Preferences window. Check the other boxes as you prefer. I recommend checking the "Ready to Advance Indicator" box because this very useful feature lets you know the status of Builds and Transitions.
4) In the System Preferences / Displays window: Check the button marked "Detect Displays." This should set the optimum resolution and screen size automatically for the projector your are using.
5) If the image is still too small, the projector may have a "zoom" control which will change the size of the projected image on the screen. OR, you may need to reposition the projector farther from the screen; this will increase the image size.

Excise tab not appearing in GR display

Hi,
After creating the Goods reciept, when we display the GR document the excise tab is not appearing. While creating only the excise tab appears and can enter all the excise details. But if want check the values entered in the display mode of the GR, we tab does not appear.
Please let me know if any customising setting needs to be done so that this tab will appear in display mode also. We are on ECC 6

As per my understanding ......
While Doing MIGO, Excise Tab appear at header level in Excise Tab and also at Item Level.
But when u post part1 only, then Excise Entries also found there.
But after posting Part1 in MIGO and Part2 in J1IEX,
while going to back MIGO Document, Exicse Does not appear there becoz u post only part1 not part2.
u can observe there entries like this
During GR

Using the Tutorial BAPI which comes with the JCO Tutorial,I just wanna call the first function.

Conditions not appearing in the display mode of Purchase order

Hi,
We are facing an issue where in the display mode of Purchase order,if I click on the conditions tab in the item details, Iam getting a blank screen. But if I trigger the pricing procedure in the change mode for eg. by changing the quantity or price, the conditions are appearing.
I want to know why the conditions are not being shown in the display mode. All the PO's are using the standard pricing proceduresRM0000.
Also when I trigger the pricing in the change mode for some POs the condition types like PB00, NVAS etc are appearing twice, in some POs the condition types are appearing thrice and in some all the condition types are appearing four times.
I have checked out some OSS notes like 798449, 456690 and 772035 but could not find the solution.
Any pointers to this will be eagerly awaited and highly appreciated.

Phone app in iOS 8 does not appear in full display.

Just got brand new iPhone 6, 64 GB. Sometimes when I open my phone app, it appear that the full display of the app has shifted down by quarter of an inch, with the bottom quarter inch "cut off" and the top quarter inch empty black. See the 2 screen shots I took below. The issue seems to continue even after I re-start the app. After closing and re-opening the app a few times, the screen eventually "shifts" back into normal position.
Anyone else having this issue? Haven't noticed this issue in other apps yet. If you ask me, this seems like a lousy software bug.
Below are the actual screen capture. In the first one, note the top black band. And in both the screen captures below, in the bottom, all the icons are "cut-off".

You can try resetting your iPhone by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears. Try again to see if the problem persists.

Why do columns not appear in the same order as the fields on my imported form?

I am an Acrobat X user and make numerous forms through Acrobat. However, when I import the file into FormsCentral, the order of the fields in the table do not correspond to the order in which they appear on my form. The fields on my form are in a calendar format so they appear from left-to-right. I'm wondering if when I do the import, it is read by FormsCentral from top-to-bottom instead or is it random. It's a real inconvenience and severely inhibits my workflow when I have to rearrange the columns to work with the data. Any suggestions or insight would be appreciated.

Files have no order. File management programs like the finder or windows explorer will display files according to your selected display sort. Typically alpha by file name, date created, size, date modified. So to view them in a selected order you need to sort on an attribute that accomplishes that. The easiest usually is to export photos using the sequential naming option then displaying in alpha order

Why are iPad Notes appearing on my Mail Archive?

I entered a sensitive item in Notes on my iPad and nowhere else. Today that item has appeared on my iMac in a Gmail Archive folder on Mail. Why on earth should there be any connection between these two functions on different machines, and how much else goes from my iPad to Google without my knowledge ? iCloud is not (to the best of my knowledge) active.
Any explanation would be appreciated please -- this is rather worrying.

Presenter notes w/o 2nd display?

I often teach where I'm working without a projector or 2nd display. I really like having the presenter display with timer and clock with my speaking notes. Is there a way to use the speaker display even if I'm not presenting any display to my audience?

THanks Gary. Yes this would basically just be using it as electronic notes. I cAn break my notes into many smaller chunks & much larger fonts to help keep my place as my vision is changing on me, and I really want the timer & clock right there. I find myself forgetting to check the time when I first start speaking, or if I'm introduced earlier or later than expected I need to calculate time elapsed/left while still speaking & maintaining my train of thought. Hence absolutely needing the timer instead of simple making my notes be the slideshow itself.

How you posted the excise invoice, have you done this posting in MIGO transaction or in J1IEX transaction.
If you have not gor the Excise tab in MIGO while posting you cann't get the same after posting also. You need to do settings for this in IMG settings for the excise group customization then you will get this excise invoice tab in MIGO
