Why do the same permissions have to be corrected more than once

Each time I check permissions, it seems as if the same errors need to be fixed. Why do the same errors keep on repeating themselves?

I hope that is all that is, and I suspect you are right. A bug would cause the same errors to pop up each time. I get errors such as user differs, should be 0, user is 95., etc., which is accord with what you suggest. Almost all of the errors I get are Java VM Framework related, and I am aware of how problematic that could be.

How can I Append the same (altered) web page to the same Acrobat 9 Pro PDF file more than once

The Acrobat 9 Pro utility in IE 8 of the Windows 7 Pro OS has a selection to "Append to Existing PDF," however it only allows appending the same web page one time only. if the majoriety of the page data content is changed by selecting list item at the top of the page, I need to (re-)add the page with new content to the same (selected) PDF file, however the utilitiy does not allow this due to its maintaining a special index of each page base on the page URL or name. Can the this index or the page itself be changed whenever the page is altered to make Acrobat think it is a new page?

I don't use IE, but I would suspect you can clear the cache or such to reset this option. You could also just open the web site directly in Acrobat and play the game there.

Thanks but I have tried doing the above - when I said 7 times I was modest, its more like 15 times.
And I am referring to the 5.1 software update. I dont have wifi so I guess I will have to try that seeing that my husband also has the same problem - he has also tried downloading several times. It always times out en says that the connection is lost but yet there are always an internet connection and a decent signal once it stopped. Think it said error 32052 or something!
I am disappointed because the update includes inprovement on the battery life - did you guys notice any difference?

I have pages 09 version 4.1... It is a small aggravation.. The left 3 or 4 characters on the return address would not print until I realized that by clicking on
" View " & " Show Lay-Out " that it was out side the printable range ...

It seems to be a Pages template " Print range " issue.. Both the Epson and the HP printers were doing it and it was today that I realized why.. !!
When I move it to where it will print there is large gap on the left margin of the return address.. Just wondering if anyone else knew about this.. ? My Pages is ' 09 ' version 4.1...

After Upgrade Cloud Control from 12.1.0.3 to 12.1.0.4 the user name and password have to be entered more than once

Hi everybody,
we recently upgraded our Cloud Control from 12.1.0.3 to 12.1.0.4.
Now we have the following, a little bit strange behaviour.
Everytime we want to log into Cloud Control we have to enter our password more than once.
Sometimes even more than twice.
It alawys says user name and password are required
Does anybody has the same problem?
I didn't found anything on MOS. So any advice or answer is appreciated.

We have seen similar issue when we use non-certified browsers for accessing 12c console
Use certified versions of IE with EM 12.1.0.4 Cloud Control. for instance, Microsoft Internet Explorer 10.*, 9.*, 9 and 8 versions only.

Performance... Why a function column in a view is executed more than once...?

Why a function column created inside a view is executed more than once when called more than once?
EXAMPLE:
create or replace view aux1 as
date_column,
any_function(date_column) column1
from any_table
create or replace view aux2 as
column1 c1,
column1 c2,
column1 c3
from aux1
select * from aux2
It will execute 3 times the function any_function... logically the value will be the same for all columns...
I understand why!... are 3 calls... but...
Why not to create a "small" verification and if the function column was execute replace the second, the third... value? ... instead of execute 3, 4... times...

Actually, this is more than a performance issue. This is a consistency problem. If the function is NOT deterministic then you may get different values for each call which is clearly not consistent with selecting 3 copies of the same column from a row. Oracle appears to have fixed this in 9i...

Continual request to upgrade. even though I have gon thru process more than once

Over the last few weeks I have been continually ask to upgrade to the latest version. I have done this more than once. just a few days ago and I am still getting request..Whts up?

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.

When my ipod nano 6th generation is on shuffle, it plays only songs from a few artists for a time, then moves on to play songs from other artists. Any ideas how to get it to mix up the songs a little more so i don't have to hear songs more than once?

In a car ride, we hear the same songs twice even though there is over 24 hours of music on it

Well, shut my mouth! There was a similar question over to the right about a 6th generation nano repeating over and over again -- I read the answer to that one, followed the instructions, and holy crap, it's back to normal.

The first thing to check would be your internet download speed, you can do this at www.speedtest.net.
1080p HD movies require a recommended speed of 8 Mbps, 720p HD movies require a recommended speed of 6 Mbps, while SD movies require a recommended speed of 2.5 Mbps.

Apple is making me pay to update free apps OR apps that have already been purchased, More than once??!!

I have Recently been trying to update several apps of mine, and when i click update all, or one at a time, it takes me straight to my billing information. Then after that it says i need to pay to update my apps that have already been purchased or apps that i have gotten for free, i have never used a credit card to buy apps, i have always just used iTunes Cards to Redeem apps. However, when i took my iPhone 5 with iOS 7.1.1 to the apple store, the "geniuses" have told me i have outstanding payments on an app so in order to update them, i need to go and purchase more itunes cards.. So i have went out and bought about Three 20$ itunes cards hoping that by using just 1 card - it would fix the problem im having. but it isnt. ALSO if i purchase an app without having the same amount of what it costs it will not let me buy/download it, so how can i have to pay for apps that are already on my phone?? MOST THAT ARE FREE. Can someone please help me solve this issue that actually knows what they are doing?! thanks..

No. That's not what it says. What is the EXACT message you get?

How the heck to you run a class more than once?

I'm new to Java and have spent many frustrating hours on this program, (yeah I know, pathetic), but I can't get this program to run. I think that the problem lies in calling more than one object. The compiler says that the object has already been defined, by when I change it gives me the same message. Here is the message-

The other two error are because of syntax errors on your part. You're defining methods, but not invoking them correctly. For example:
data.setPhone = ("(555)555-5678");What you're doing, syntactically speaking, is setting a value to the "setPhone" field, which of course doesn't exist. What you meant to do is invoke the setPhone method. So change the above to this:
data.setPhone("(555)555-5678");(remove that equals sign).
BTW, a couple of forum-consideration points:
When you post code, please wrap it in [code][/code] tags. It makes it easier to read, and people are more likely to help you.
This really isn't a question about compiling, even though it showed up during compilation. Probably a better forum would have been the New to Java forum.

My modem works just fine, but my airport extreme refuses to connect to the internet. I even reset it more than once, changed the DNS servers and still nothing. Help

Ok so recently we were having problems with our phone. We had to disconnect our modem in order to fix the phone lines and when that happened, our airpot extreme disconnected itself from the internet. No matter what I did i could not get it to connect back. I would power down the modem, I would reset the AE and nothing would happen.
I tried changing the DNS server and nothing happened. I always get the same messages in the airport utility app: No internet connection and no DNS server
Nothing I seem to do works. I do know for a fact though, that the problem is not the modem. I have connected it through ethernet to other devices and the internet has worked just fine.
Please please please if anybody sees this help me out!!

Since you feel good about having internet access up to your Airport, I would suggest as a next step checking your Airport's status light to see if it is giving any clues as to what may be going on. Below is some info on what the light can indicate
AirPort Express Status light sequences and what they indicate.
No light (Off) - AirPort Express is unplugged
Solid green - AirPort Express is on and working properly.
Flashing amber - AirPort Express is not set up or cannot establish a connection to the network or
the Internet. Use AirPort Utility to find out the cause. See “If Your AirPort Express
Status Light Flashes Amber” on page 20.
Solid amber - AirPort Express is starting up.
Flashing amber and green - There may be a problem starting up. AirPort Express will restart

Have to sign in more than once

For some reason, I have recently been asked several times to sign in to gain access to iTunes (version 12.1.0.50). This is both very annoying and time-wasting,and I was not required to do this before.
Can anyone please offer a remedy?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the quick response. Sorry, I should have had the sense to specify that I have an iMac. Furthermore, the language I used was imprecise: on opening iTunes 12.1.0.50 I now have to log in with ID and password at least three times before gaining access to playlists. This is a new complication and irritant.

Is there anyway I can find the LAST date of an app downloaded more than once?

I look at my recent purchases and it shows the FIRST time i purchased the free app, however it doesn't show any other time that it's been downloaded and I know I've downloaded it 4-5 more times. Is there ANY way I can find ALL of the dates that I re-downloaded this app?

Change your iTunes (Apple ID) password along with any other password that was stored in the iPod. If any passwords are associated with credit cards, contact the CC company and get your card replaced (with a new number). If any passwords are associated with your bank or any savings institution, contact them also and discuss approprate action with them.
The "Find my..." function is pretty much useless if the device is in the hands of a thief. All that is necessary is for the thief to connect to any computer with iTunes and "Restore as new."
The only real protection you have is with the personal information on the device rather than the physical device itself. This requires action before the device is lost/stolen. If the device has significant personal information, it should have a strong 8-digit (or longer) password AND be configured for automatic wipe in the event of ten consecutive incorrect password entries.
