Why does Firefox offer themes and gadgets to personalize the webpage, and then make it impossible to use after upgrading Firefox? Can or will these lost functions ever be restored?

The functions designed to modify and/or create a personalize page has ceased to function since upgrading to Firefox versions 4 & 5. No trouble shooting info has been provided to indicate a correction for this problem.

Reading your comments I do not see that rolling back to an insecure Firefox 22 will actually help you much. You are probably best using IE, unless you have also damaged that.

You should not use old versions they are insecure. Security fixes are publicised and exploitable.

Most others will not be having such problems. We are now able to say that with confidence because after developers missed a regression in Firefox 4 telemetry was introduced so that data was obtained. It may be an idea to turn on your telemetry, if you have not already done so, and decide to stick with Firefox.

Trying safe mode takes seconds. Unfortunatly if you are not willing to do even rudimentary troubleshooting there is not anything we can do to help you.

Earlier at work my new 3g said "ATT 3g" and it was zippy fast. But now i noticed here at home, only 5 miles from the office, its saying "ATT E" at the top and its very slow. Does this mean the 3G is down?Or that I don't have enough signal here? I had no idea I would default back to the old slow Edge net? Arghhhhhh!!!

Why does my 5th gen airport extreme go on the fritz and disconnect all 2.4GHz devices when one device connects with 5GHz? I've done some research and it seems other people have had this problem too? I'm very frustrated and want my money back

Running an apple tv 3rd gen, iPod 4th gen, iPhone 4s, windows vista laptop, and Xbox 360 with media center. 2.4GHz devices work great when apple TV is connected with ethernet, but as soon as I switch the apple tv to wireless, the 5th gen AEBS kicks over to 5GHz, my 2.4GHz devices lose connection and I can't reconnect my 2.4GHz devices, until I do a hard reset of my AEBS and reconfig the network with my iPhone, if I use the airport application for PC, my wireless devices still won't connect. I bought this router 20 days ago so I could run dual band wireless, if I wanted to limit all my stuff to 2.4ghz, I would've got a g router and saved some money. This thing supposedly has 3 antennas, one for 2.4, one for 5, and one for the guest network, so why do I loose my 2.4 when it "switches" to 5GHZ if it's supposedly always broadcasting both freq's????????

I had a problem with dual bands running almost everything you have there. When I'd have a iPad and MacBook running, I'd turn on my 360 and I'd loose all connections though. Until a hard reset and the same cycle. I returned my airport a day later for a new one. No problems since. I had a faulty one. Not saying yours is, but mine was. I troubleshooted everything from options, manual setup, everythinggggggggg. It was a wasted 7plus hours to find out it was faulty. I have a pc, MacBook, apple tv, 360, and 2 iPads using it now flawless.

I recently got iPad (Third Generation) because I was excited about the possibilities of reading so many books through the iBooks app. However, I have recently discovered that there are very few books on offer in the Nigeria Store - and they are mostly books available in the public domain.
For a couple of days, I thought it was a general iBooks problem (i.e. iBooks did not have so many books as I had originally thought) - but then I visited the US Store through a friend's account (who also lives in Nigeria) - and realized that a greaaat deal of books are available in the US Store (and other stores).
Why does iBooks offer very few books in Nigeria? Is there any way to work around this restriction? How can this complaint be forwarded to those who make decisions at iTunes?

Music, movies, books, apps, etc. are availble on a country by country basis, as made available by the publisher. If you have books you would like to see added to the iTunes Store/iBookstore, you should submit feedback to Apple here: http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

What that's telling you is that some of the photos you want to use are not in your Library but online in a gallery you have linked to. You need to download them first.

Go to Settings>Music and turn off 'Shake to Shuffle'.

It might be out of memory. Close all apps you're not using using the toolbar that comes up when you double click on the home button. Press and hold any icon and then tap on the red minus (-) symbol of the apps you're not using.

Thanks, but that didn't do it.
When it was working, there was a small Firefox icon in the lower right corner...it showed a pop-up when someone tried to load a cookie, described it and deleted it. Yahoo was trying to load cookies every 15 minutes or so, this feature alerted me and described the action as 'self-destructed'. Would like to get it back....

Yes that is exactly what I said - and what the article I liked said with a somewhat detailed description
Basically both libraries use Linux HardLinks to the original photos - the finder sees each has containing the compete set of photos although the photos are only on disk once
And deleting one library only deletes the links and a few overhead items - so again as I said would save very little space
