I've had my iphone 4s for 1 year and LOVED it until I upgraded to the ios7 last week. Now, my formerly beautiful camera (which was the only camera that I took with me to Europe last year - by holding the shuttter button down until I could capture a perfectly still photo, I took the most amazing pictures) mostly takes blurry photos. If the subject moves, forget it - it's all a blur. I hate it now. Not only that, I used to be able to access my university Moodle site with my phone - since the upgrade, I can no longer log in. Brutal. Thanks alot, Apple!

Why does my iPod Shuffle stop working after a few songs?

I had my iPod Shuffle for about a month now and it's already causing me trouble.
I would play a couple of songs, but when I go to change it, it stops working. I turn it off and on again only to have it take me back to where I started off at (e.g. Let's say I have 100 songs, I start at 50 and I get to 55 before it shuts off. When I turn it back on, it starts at 50 all over again). This process would happen over and over again with seemingly no end.
So my question is, why does my iPod Shuffle stop working after a few songs and how can I fix it?
I already tried using the iTunes troubleshooting guide, but nothing worked.
Details -
4th Generation
I only use it at the gym or when I'm running
I've only used the Apple products that came with it so far
(e.g. charger, headphones, etc.)
881 MB are still left
Music stops randomly, no common number or pattern

I had the same problem, I purchased a new ipod shuffle, followed the instructions but it would stop after a few songs and I would have to shut it off, wait and turn it back on and it would go back to the same song and then once again, after a few songs it would shut off. I returned the ipod and got another one, same thing happened. This is how I resolved the issue.
1. open itunes, make sure its up to date, then connect your shuffle to your pc
2.on the left of the itunes window, select your ipod, then at the top select music then check the sync box and select "selected playlists"
3.then go back and click on your ipod on the left, a message will appear just select apply
all of your music should be emptied from your ipod.
4.delete all of your playlists on the left, this will not delete anything from your library. Delete the "purchased" playlist under itunes store on the left as well, once again this will not delete anything from your library
5.There should be an arrow just in front of your ipod, click on this arrow and you should see your music file for the ipod appear, this should be the only file that you see, everything else should be deleted.
6. go to your music library and check only the songs that you want to load into your ipod. Double click on each song to make sure that they all play.
If you find a song that does not play you should be asked to authorize it, don't waste your time that did not solve the issue for me, instead cancel to authorize the song and then delete the song and move it to recycle bin. Once the song is deleted a cloud should appear, click on the cloud and download the song again, when done, make sure the song plays and that it is checked.
7.After you have made sure that all of the songs play and are checked, click on your ipod once more, located to the left, check the box "sync only checked songs" then from the top select music. In the music window select "sync music' and then select "entire music Library"
8. Go back to the left and click on the arrow in front of your ipod, you should see the music file, click on the music file and you should see all of your music being loaded to your ipod.
9. When all of the music is done loading, eject your ipod by clicking on the arrow located after the battery symbol where your ipod appears on the left
10. Turn on your ipod and scroll through your songs to make sure that the problem is resolved.
Not sure if all of this was necessary but it worked for me.

Camera no longer works after 6.0.1

My camera no longer works after an update to 6.0.1 on iPhone 5. It now will make the noise and animation, but the camera app freezes and won't take the picture. Any luck for anyone else?
EDIT: Scratch that, turning my phone off and then back on seems to have fixed the issue.

The same powers-that-be fixed the problem for me. It's even more mysterious, since I know I did not restart the computer. I was just surfing along, laboriously using the browser's navigation buttons, when out of habit I pressed the button on the mouse and it worked. It's been working ever since.
Since I notice that 23 other people have this problem (so far), there's clearly something that needs looking at even if the problem somehow corrects itself.

I had the same problem due to the Fire Wire port. Apple tested it told me it is OK!, I tried a new cable, and have tested both ports on my back up device. I find it strange that as soon as I installed Mavericks. The drive does work using USB. It could be a coincidence, I don't absolutely know at this point, my back up drive ports could stop working, but I doubt it!

BlackBerry Classic front camera no longer works after update

The front camera on my BlackBerry Classic no longer works after the 10.3 update. The BBM video chat does not work either - error message, another application is using the camera. I tried rebooting and a factory reset and the problem still persists. Please help.

S230U Twist - Camera no longer works after Win 8.1

Hello all!
I've scoured the forums and tried EVERYTHING but I still cannot find a solution to my problem:
After I upgrade from Win 8 to Win8.1, my camera no longer works. It shows a gray screen with a camera and a diagonal line across it but the green camera light shows up; I also get a shutter sound when take a picture but the image is only of the aforementioned gray camera screen. I can't use the camera for video in skype or any other video chat function.
My Integrated Camera driver version is 3.4.7.26 (SunplusIT) dated 3/15/2013. I tried to upgrade but it seems to be the latest one.
I've also checked that the Lock Screen setting is set to ON for "Swipe down on lock screen to use camera".
SOMEONE, please HELP!

I'm really sorry to hear that when you try to use webcam in your Lenovo S230U Twist, you are getting a crossed camera image.
Check if your camera is in normal or private mode. This could be happening because you might have set your camera in private mode.
Go into Lenovo Settings App and select camera.
There will be the options of Private and Normal.
Select Normal.
Also, in Settings > Permissions, make sure that Skype and other similar apps have permission to access the Webcam or Microphone.

Have you tried connecting to your computer and sync using iTunes? If it will sync that way, the means the problem is the wireless sync. One step in the troubleshooting process. You also might want to consider posting here.

Import form cam no longer works after Update to iLife 09

Hi, I've updated to iLife 09 and installed the most recent patches. With iLife 08 my Fujifilm Finepix F30 was recognized by my mac book pro, iPhoto starded up an the contet of the cam was presented for import as soon as I connected it by USB. With iLife 09 all this no longer works. iPhote is fired up but nothing else happens but that iPhote freezes so the only thin I an do is to kill it ... now it's more or less useless for me

Start with the troubleshooting basics:
1. Delete the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder. (Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)
2. Repair Permissions using Disk Utility
3. Create a new account (systempreferences -> accounts) and see if the problem is repeated there. If it is, then a re-install of the app might be indicated. If it's not, then it's likely the app is okay and the problem is something in the main account.

To be able to use a new function (“anti-alias for
readability”) the program warns me that “this feature
is not supported by Flash Player 6. To use this feature, you must
target Flash player 8.”
So I change the setting to Flash Player 8, leaving
Actionscript to version 2.0.
However, now one of my main menu buttons no longer works!
When I change settings back to Flash Player 6, things are fine
again. What am I overlooking?

name). Does anything change with the actionscript in CS3?

Why does my ipod no longer work with my alpine car stereo

my ipod connects directly to my alpine car stereo and up til now it has worked great. i recently synced my ipod to my computer and i think it updated the software on my ipod and now my ipod no longer works with my alpine stereo. what is up? did apple change something that would make my ipod no longer compatible with my car stereo? if so, what do i do? i have about $1000 invested in my car stereo and ipod specifically for car use. this is a serious issue for me! i just want my ipod to work like it did…
i just connected my friends ipod and it works fine. he has version 1.1.1 software on his. i have version 2.3 on mine. since my ipod works fine by itself i’m assuming that the incompatibility between my ipod and my alpine is due to the software update.
here again, what do i do? how can i get an older version of software back on to my ipod?

what kind of connection do you have? do you use the ipod 30 pin cable that connects directly to the head unit? it so, maybe you could get help on the alpine site, or a similar site?it could just be a bad connection. you may just have to go oldschool and use rca cables and plug those in...

Sometimes thisworks:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

However,sometimes an iOS update breaks compatibility and you have to wait for either an iOS update or and update to the iHome firmware. Go to iHome's support site

Why does 'Interpret Fields' no longer work in Premiere CS4?

Although I have moved on personally, my office still uses CS4. For some reason the interpret fields function no longer works, so all my interlaced footage has to be made progrssive to output it!!
If I load an interlaced clip into the source and view it at 100%, then mess around with the interlacing options...NOTHING HAPPENS!
I am at my wits end, Adobe no longer support CS4 and re-install didn't help at all.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I'd already trashed the prefs (in fact I printed them off, ripped them up and burned them for good measure!)
Media & databases also binned.
I was thinking it may be a corrupt dll or plugin somewhere, but no idea which one might handle the interlacing?
