Why does my itunes work in the guest account but not my administrator account?

I have tried to reset, retry, restart, reinstall and restore itunes on my pc to figure out why it won't work on my administrator account yet it's fine if I sign into my guest account. It worked fine one day and the next, just didn't work. I have Windows 8.1. Any ideas?

Make sure that mouse keys aren't on. System Preferences > Universal Access > Mouse and Trackpad
System Preferences > Language and Text > Make sure that U.S. is selected. If there are multiple languages selected there will be a flag in the menu bar and make sure that that is set to U.S..

Why does data/3g work on my O2 sim but not with Three sim (iphone 5)?

as the title says...
i have been using an O2 sim for a while in my iphone 5 without problems. today i tried a sim from the three network. calls and texts work fine, but i can not get any data connection to work.
i have been on the phone to three and tried many different settings/network resets etc.
when i put the sim in the phone updated automatically - i was directed to go to "settings>about", where it asked me to update. i clicked yes. after a long phone call with three, they say all my settings are correct.
i have tried the same sim in an iphone 4 and the data works fine with it, so there's definitely something a miss with the actual iphone 5 handset.
i am running ios 7.0.4
(in setting > about)
carrier: Three 15.6
Model: ND662B/A
Modem firmware 5.02.00
any ideas?

When I insert the three SIM card there is no option for apn. From what I've read, three do not allow it. The apn settings show up fine with my O2 sim.
I have noticed something strange when playing about with the data. If I open tunein radio app with wifi and steam a live broadcast, if I switch on data and then switch off wifi, the stream still plays. Then when I look at my data usage it shows data has been used. If I try and use data at the start of the app, it will not connect and I still can't get the data to work on anything else. So some slight element of the data connection is getting through.

Why does a page work when i open it but not stream it?

I have a web server, it downloads the following code off my hard drive and it works, but if i stream it in off a server i have written, it does not, yet the source codes look exactly the same. Help? (open and close tags have been put all as open and between " signs.

Why does Adobe sendnow work and the newest and greatest Adobe Send does not work? I wasted about 8 hours on trying to get Adobe Send to upload 269 files that amounted to 469MB. When it did not work I made a zip file and after a lot of wasted run time that did not work. The first situation gives little indication of when a file is loaded compared to Adobe SendNow. In both cases with Send it failed with a message like only the first 50 can be loaded. When I went and looked none of them had been loaded. With the zip file (I wanted to hide the individual files so they would not be counted) it appeared to work but very slowly and finally said it was done and I went and looked and it had done anything for oever 2 hours except a false "I'm runninng" indication.
Thus, I took a chance with Adobe SendNow and it works great. It never gave me a limit on the amount of files nor on the size of the complete job. It shows me one file at a time when it has finished with the file uploading it. SendNow has never given me any problems.
Why woiuld you want to change the program from SendNow to Send without the newest program being the best, fastest, user friendly program of the two? It just doesn't make sense to me. I suggest that Adobe keep SendNow working until Send is fixed. I would also suggest that SendNow and how it looks be kept, called Send, then modify Send one thing at a time until you get it to the point you need it to be for Acrobat. I have heard nothing good and now I have experienced it that Send is a piece of junk. I wasted most of my work day on giving Adobe the benefit of the doubt to find out I made a very bad decision to trust Adobe to make good decisions on the transfer of a function to another place .... both Adobe's responsibility.without making it painless for your customers that totally rely on you. Don't throw away customer confidence as it is very hard to get it back.

Yep! Verizon living up to it's contractual obligations by not releasing updates. Caveat emptor!
I think there are some reasonable expectations here to keep customer's happy. When one carrier offers upgrades there is an expectation the same will happen across all the carriers. We have seen that except Big Red.
Verizon could have said the update is in MS court months ago and stilled the voice of the disgruntled, or at least redirected it, but instead chose to be silent. Not for market share but for partial blame I think.
We will have to agree to disagree since you only see Terms & Conditions and I, see customer satisfaction.

Why does my computer say that its plugged in but not charging yet the battery is not reducing

it says plugged in, not charging, 99% (battery life)
but the battery life is not reducing & hasnt for 2 days. it just stays like that.

i have had a few weird occurences and im not sure what caused it. abruptly my speakers would stop working & my battery life would start reducing. that happened i think 3 times over the course of several months. this last time which was the 3rd is when i changed electrical outlets thinking that maybe that was the problem. and the power & speakers immediately went back to normal. its only been a few days since i changed outlets & everything is working as it should be however as mentioned the battery icon on the taskbar says that its plugged in but not charging & it remains at 99% for the last 2 days.

First of all, shut down the notebook, unplug the AC Adapter, remove the battery, and then hold down the Power button for 30 seconds.
Now, plug in the AC Adapter without the battery inserted, start the notebook, open windows Control Panel, open Device Manager, expand the entry for Batteries, right click on and the Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery and select Uninstall - do not uninstall anything else here. When the uninstall is complete, shut the notebook down, unplug the AC Adapter, re-insert the battery and then start the notebook on just the battery. Windows will automatically reinstall the driver - leave Windows running for a few minutes. Shut down the notebook again. Now plug in the AC Adapter ( with the battery still inserted ) and start the notebook to see if this has helped the charging issue at all.

Why does malloc operation fails on solaris 9 x86 but not on solaris 10 x86

- We are building an application written in C
on x86 Solaris 9, x86 Solaris 10, and sparc Solaris 9.
- During testing, we noticed that
when the application is built on x86 Solaris 9, it dies silently;
when the application is built on x86 Solaris 10, it runs perfectly fine;
when the application is built on sparc Solaris 9, it runs perfectly fine;
when the application is built on cygwin, it runs perfectly fine.
- The statement which causes the application to die silently is:

You should never pass something to free that wasnt received from malloc.
Although as a special case, free of the null pointer is allowed.
Thats all clearly written on the malloc man page..
So if your program is free'ing non malloc'ed pointers, then thats a bug in your program.
So based on your code sample above
free(ds_namv[j]) would be illegal.
But free(data[j]) should be OK, since thats a null pointer.
However, it should be perfectly fine to assign a new malloc'ed value to an existing pointer whether or not it was originally initialised using malloc.
When you assign it, the original value is irrelevant.
Additionally, the code fragment ds_namv[j] = (char**)"\0"; demonstrates some further conceptual problems.
"\0" isnt of type (char **). It's of type (char*). And its a pointer to constant space. So writing to the area pointed to, would be illegal.
As to why it works on sparc but not x86.
The code appears to have a number of errors, and you just got lucky that it ever worked on sparc...

Ringer still works on the headphone mode but not working at normal or music mode

When I turned on music apps to play music, on the screen of MUSIC does not have the "sound bar" to setting the volume however when I use the RECORDING I can hear the record in the SPEAKER mode and when I back to home screen, the bromlem happened again... When I use the headphone, it works, and the level bar is there. I'm really upset about this. Who has same problem with me? I never change anything about the sound. My iphone is 4s version and use the newest update, 6.0.1

you should consider three things if your java instance is on network.
1. SLD ( check if java instance is listed on SLD and test the connection from portal to SLD.
2. You need an entry in the services files of both the Java and ABAP servers as such:
sapms<SID> 3600/tcp
Remember to always have a blank line at the bottom of the services file!
3. try to add the certificate in portal.
if you can provide with the exact error message it would be easy to help.

Multicam works in the angle editor but not in timeline

I have 2 cameras in the new multicam system and they work in the angle viewer in the angle editor but once I go back to my work timeline one of the cameras goes black and there is no video or audio . Please help.

Why does my name appear on the iCloud account for everyone in my family?

There are four members of my family, and we each have our own Apple ID and password that we use to sign into iCloud. We also use a variety of devices -- iPhone, iPad, Safari on Mac, etc. When any of us sign on to iCloud, we see our own individual photo, but only my (Dad) name! For example, using her laptop, my daughter logs onto iCloud via Safari, using her own Apple ID and password, and then in the upper right hand of the screen there's a small photo of her and then my name! The problem is that we're now sharing pictures via Photo Stream, and when any of us make a comment, it seems that I'm the (only) one making the comment. I already went to the Apple Store and showed the Genius Bar guy what I'm talking about and he had no idea why this was happening or how to fix it. Help please!

Back up all data if you haven’t already done so. Before proceeding, you must be sure you can restore your system to the state it’s in now.
In the Finder, hold down the option key and select Go ▹ Library from the menu bar. From the Library folder, move the following items to the Trash, if they exist:

and move the following item(s) to the Desktop:

Here “*” stands for a long string of letters and numbers. Log out, log back in, and test. If you still have the issue, put the item(s) on the Desktop back where they came from and post again. Otherwise, move the items on the Desktop to the Trash and empty.

Why does my iTunes keep saying that my songs are not found? They have been on there for a very long time but now can't be put on my devices.

So I bought some new music on my iPhone. I put it on the computer so I could update my kids' iPods and while doing this I got a box that said it couldn't find some of my music. Then it took it off of the iPod and Phone. I also can't use some of the ringtones I bought. I don't understand. Now the things it can't find has a little exclamation mark by them.

My download box used to show me the completed downloads ... now it just shows the progress of the download and then goes blank?
It used to retain the completed download title/name and I could click it to open instead of having to go out to my desktop to open the download ...

HP Support site suggests that with the current Mavericks OS X 10.9.x
their drivers should be available through Apple Software Updates:

However that may be limited to certain models of printers or scanners that

Why does a particular iCal calendar appear on Mac but not iPad?

I use several calendars within the iCal application ( personal, business, etc.)
All of those calendars sync between my Mac and iPad just fine, except one,... it's a football schedule i named 'Buckeye.'
All my calendars, including Buckeye, appear in the drop down menu on both my Mac as well as my iPad. Why won't this Buckeye calendar appear on my iPad?
Caveat:
This Buckeye calendar happens to be a 'subscription' calendar. The others are all 'normall calendars which I key in manually.
