I just finsined posting a photo and added this logo. Then I went to do another and the logo did not come out translucent like before

What you are trying to do is a process that we call “refrying a PDF file,” a process that we at Adobe most strongly discourage. There are facilities within Acrobat itself that allow you to remove objects and crop pages without having to ruin the PDF by creating PostScript and then distilling that back into PDF, a potentially very lossy process. You lose all color management, all live transparency, and could have font problems in the resultant PDF file.
The Adobe PDF PostScript Printer Driver Instance is parameterized by joboptions set in its properties. These properties have a parameter for page rotation. If the options specify automatic page rotation, you may be getting these unexpected results on the basis of Distiller's analysis of each page and trying to second guess the orientation. You should also be aware that the PostScript generated by Acrobat (and Reader) is optimized for printing on a PostScript device, not for generation of PDF by distillation.

Why does sound only come out of 1 speaker when I dock my iPod?

My son's Ipod only plays sound out of I speaker. When I dock the ipod on his ihome radio or my sony radio, sound only comes out of the left speaker. When I put other ipods on the same docks i get sound out of both speakers. It is just this one ipod that won't produce sound out of both speakers, no matter what docking station I use.

Likely it is a hardware issue for the iPod, you need to bring it for service

I am working on Premiere 6.5. why does my vid seem out of sequence and jumpy after exporting it as an avi?

I was near completion of an edit when my mother board died. I transfered the project over to my laptop, premiere could no longer read the source avi file that i was editing from. upon inspection I discovered that the avi file had becone corrupt and would no longer play back corectly so I ran it through a video converter saved it as a new file, this new file plays back just fine. When loading up the project I replaced the corrupt and AVI file with the new file. the software some how remembered all of my cuts on the time line. the vid took an unusual 10 hours to render and now plays back properly on the time line but after exporting it as both an AVI and MPG the exported files appear out of sink, out of sequence and jumps to footage that isn't even included on the time line.
whoever can get their heads around this one is a fricking legend.

Please tell us about your source footage, that AVI. This ARTICLE will give you some background on "wrappers," like AVI.
What you describe sounds like the issues that one often faces, when trying to edit certain forms of .MPEG source footage. Both the OOS and the jumping to frames, that should not exist, are both manifestations of .MPEG's on the Timeline (not MPEG's with Export).

Why does web printing come out so small

After selecting from a web page, there's nothing worth printing or saving as PDF, as it's all too small to read.

What are you using to capture/save the text/images from the web? That software should have options for saving image sizes and font sizes as well.

Are you burnding directlhy from iDVD to disk? Is so once you have the project as you want it save it as a disk image via the File ➙ Save as Disk Image menu option. This will separate the encoding process from the burn process.
To check the encoding mount the disk image and launch DVD Player and play it. If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding is good.
Next burn to disk with Disk Utility or Toast at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality. Always use top quality media: Verbatium, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.

In the future, there won't be any Flash. Adobe, who makes it, has cancelled future versions for mobile devices like the iPad:

You should check if there is another way to get the live stream. For example, I sometimes watch online classes on a site that uses Flash for the video. But they also provide a non-Flash video stream that can be watched in an iPhone or iPad web browser, and an iOS app that you can also use to watch the stream.

Why does the JDK come with a JRE and JDK?

I was wondering why when I download the JDK does it install a JRE and JDK. The JDK (I believe) includes all the JRE files as well as the compiler files. I can just as easily get rid of the JRE and as far as I know it wouldn't make a difference so why both?

Seriously, it doesn't make sense for me either. What
would make more sense
is for the JDK installation to install that separate
JRE, but to use that JRE instead of
installing a second one inside its folders.That would make much more sense, but I am guessing there is some intracacies that I'm not aware of or speed reason or something of the sort that would explain this. The first thing that comes to mind is knowing people might be copying the jre, someone might accidentally pull the jre out so they still wanted the sdk to work with the built in one. This is a pretty big stretch i know but there must be a reason somewhere.

Why does it only come up with Yahoo and no tools, bookmarks & edit bar?

Up until two days ago my home page was comcast.net with Mozilla Firefox being my isp. Now It comes up with Yahoo all the time and has no bar with edit, bookmarks, so on so forth, and no arrow to go back to the previous page option. I do not like Yahoo and do not want it as my homepage. How can I get it back to comcast. I have deleted firefox and re-installed it but it still does the same thing? Please Advise!

In Firefox 3.6 and later on Windows you can hide the "Menu Bar" via "View > Toolbars" or via the right-click context menu on a toolbar.
Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.
Go to "View > Toolbars" or right-click the "Menu Bar" or press Alt+V T to select which toolbars to show or hide (click on an entry to toggle the state).

That happens sometimes.
Periodically double click the home button and close all the apps in the recently used dock. Then power off and then back on the iPod. This frees up memory. The the 3G and 4G only has 256 MB of memory. The 5G 512 MB, This does not work for 1G and 2G

Why does my ipad black out and give message "Temperature" - Ipad needs to cool down... when it is not physically hot? Sometimes it will do it every 5 minutes. Can anyone help? Feeling frustrated.

Have you tried a device reset?
Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.
If that has no effect, it's sounds like it could be a hardware issue if the iPad is not even hot. If it's still under warranty and you have an Apple Store nearby, I would set up a Genius Bar appointment to have it evaluated.

Why Can't Verizon Come out to Help Me?

I've had FiOS TV for quite some time. When the technician came he quickly ran to the door when I asked him to help me program my DVD player and told me it was not compatible and not his priority.
Now (almost 3 years later not being able to use my DVD player), I bought a new BLu-Ray and cannot for the life of me figure out how to hook it up.
I AM WILLING TO PAY FOR VERIZON FOR AN APPOINTMENT TO COME OUT AND HOOK IT UP FOR ME and they refuse and continue to say it is not their responsibiity.
I don't have any friends who know how to do it and it's going on 3 years + that I've had to use my laptop to watch a DVD.
Why can't Verizon come out if I pay and hook it up for me????

Verizon does not install / set up non-Verizon equipment.
If you are willing to pay to have it configured, then try Geek Squad at Best Buy (but don't expect it to be cheap).

Doulbe tab the home key to see the task bar. Touch and hold any of those icons until they jiggle, then delete them by touching the minus sign. Then reboot the pad by holding the sleep and home buttons until the apple logo appears. Ignore the red slider.
You either have another app open that is using the camera, or you just have too much stuff in memory. The reset process should clear it up.
