Why does my mac air always restart when I open it in our university?
This has been always bothering me for some time already. Whenever I open my macbook air in our university it always warns me to restart my device. When I do the same thing happens over and over again until it reached 27 reports.
I'd make a sound too if i was put into a bag haha.
Only thing i could think of it it has a mind of its own or your putting your computer to sleep. Try shutting down your mac before placing in your bag and see if that changes things.

I just looked in my history - can't find the link. I was googling for about 15 minutes out of curiousity before.. just researched more though. I think its an integrated circuit (the IC part) that is a combination of both analog and digital die sensor readings:

New Document is one click in the lower left of the opening window! You could write an AppleScript to avoid that one click, but that may not be worth the candle.
Note that after that one click you can save an additional click by specifying 'Use template:<your chosen template>' instead of 'Show Template Chooser' in Numbers > Preferences > General.

Can you explain to me why my Mac Air keeps giving me this message? In the middle of a download and I get this when the computer goes into sleep. Once I get this message it will keep trying to log out until finally I log out and then back in again.

Why does my Mac Pro spontaneously restart?
My Mac Pro suddenly restarted and continues to do so when I sign back in. I can't use it more than five minutes without a spontaneous restart. I put in the OS installation disc and manually restarted from it and then went to disk utilities to repair my startup drive. Did this and nothing changed. Still continues to restart again and again and again. I'm trying to back up on external drive but that takes time and the computer restarts a few minutes into the backup procedure interrupting it. What can I do?
ThanksThere are so many replies, I don't know if anyone has solved this, but I have found something that has worked for me, twice, on my Mac Pro Tower 2008, OS 10.6.8. Like everyone else, my Mac was restarting by itself over and over. Here's what I did: 1) Clean up the dust inside (canned air and wiping down the flat surfaces that had a ton of dust on them. 2) Remove the video card and reseat it. Pulling the card out can be a bit of a trick, it can seem stuck, but you just have to pull firmly (ok, don't forget to unscrew the little screws that hold it in, and don't drop 'em!). Just pull it 'up' a few inches away, enough to pull it free of the contacts.
I suggest immediately reseating it, rather than pulling the card out to inspect and then realize that re-positioning it is awkward, especially if you haven't pulled the vid card before. Old pros can ignore this recommend.
This worked for me a few years ago and just recently (Late April 2015) the problem resurfaced. I can't say that cleaning did the trick, but it was awfully dusty inside my Mac anyway. Perhaps related (or not!), I've replaced my video card twice now, so I'm on my third vid card. They just don't seem to last.
I don't guarantee anything, but if you haven't tried this, give it a shot and best of luck to you! -

When I I run about 4 or 5 solfwares, it starts warmer and make noise. I feel so unhappy with this. How can I fix it. I bought AppleCare programme for 3 years as well
ThanksThe mid 2011 MacBook Air fans are pretty quiet but not silent and since they are the only mechanical decice you'll hear - there's no hard drive or DVD drive to make noise - it is possible that what you hear is normal. On the other hand, fans can go bad - bearings fail and dust an make the blades become unbalanced. None of us can help - you'll need to take the computer to a repair center or Apple Store and let an Apple repair person determine if the fans need replacing or not. If so, your warranty will cover the cost.

When I open Firefox, the Bookmark toolbar is there but a solid gray. I can restore the icons by clicking View, Toolbars, Bookmar to unselect the Bookmark toolbar, and then repeat the process to select the Bookmark toolbar. This is an annoyance repeated every time I open Firefox. How do I get out of this loop and just have the Toolbar appear populated with icons automatically?

When connected to the internet things run pretty smoothly, then when I change sites or load another window it sometimes starts the load and then freezes. Sometimes I can delete the window and continue with an open window or everything just quits loading. I have tried to clear history, no help; I have cleaned disc and removed large files to free space, no help. The only thing that seems to help is shutting down an restarting, sometimes have to do this more than once.Problem description:
When opening a page on internet it sometimes freezes and will not load. When trying other website they will not load. I’ve had this problem since loading Yosemite.
