Why does the page change when I hit the space bar?

I didn't have this problem until I reinstalled the operating system

I can't even see where that setting is.. for my information all the footage is from a GoPro so what I've had to do is convert them to .mov and Apple ProRes 422 now. Now when I have them in final cut the samples in 'All Clips' and in the time line look ok in till I hover over them and then they have the red hint again, they do how ever export the right colour now but this is going to make colour correction difficult

If that's the only place you used that unique font, yes. Convert the textbox to an image file by applying a drop shadow to the font and setting the opacity of the drop shadow to 5%.

Why does the tab bar on my iPad 2 using IO8 disappear when I swip down? Its annoying. I have to tap the top of the screen to view my open tabs.

When I send a group email why does the address bar not present the names alphabetically?

I frequently send emails to groups. Sometimes, for one reason or another, I want to delete one or more contacts from the list that appears in the address bar. Why does the list not appear in alphabetical order and is there any way that I can edit my contact lists to make it do so? It means picking through a list one by one rather than scrolling down a list to find a contact in the correct order.

Basically I suggest you keep using Eudora.
Like most of those moving now, they are unlikely to be happy with anything else. But then that is to be expected, you have clung to abondonware for 5+ years after it's replacement. People that dedicated are unlikely to be happy with anything else.
The Business standard and professionalism are not based on the Eudora way of things. I suggest you stick undisclosed-recipients: into a google search box and get instructions on how to do things for all the major mail clients.
Of note Thunderbird displays nothing in the To field, even though the undisclosed-recipients: is inserted in the outgoing mail.

I am interested however how when you added a list so it appears on multiple lines. All I see is he list name until after I press the send button and look at it in the sent folder.
Most people use another address entirely in the to:, in conjunction with the BCC list. It verifies the list mail is sent by coming back and you can put whatever you like in the display name of the email address.

Why does spinning wheel appear when i hit enter

Why does the spinning wheel appear every time I hit the enter button? If it's not spinning then it's freezing up and I have to turn it off and on. What's going on!?!? Any suggestions? Others have said I don't need a Mac cleaner, but this is driving me a little nuts. thank you for any advise.

Why does planning indicators change when the safety stock change?

Hai All,
I created a BOM for a finished material (FM1)and entered another finished material(FM2) in item list.
Now in MRP, I did single item multi level planning for the FM1. I checked the planning file entry through MD21 and it has NECH and NECPL marked. I checked for FM2. None of the indicators are set. Then I have been to material master for FM2 and in MRP2 screen and changed the safety stock to 950. Then I checked the plannig file again and I see the indicators NECH and NETPL are checked. I then made the safety stock 0 and checked the planning file. There is no change.
My question is why were the indicators NETCH and NETPL checked when I increased my safety stock for material FM2 from 0 to 950?
I understand that NETCH is the planning for Net changes and NETPL is for planning for changes in a horizon.
Are these indicators set because I made a change to the material? or is there any other reason?

The planning indicators change when there is an amendment to the planning situation that requires MRP to replan a material. Essentially, by upping your safety stock from 0 to 950 you are requesting that the MRP system replans that material to ensure that there is sufficient safety stock available.

Why does the bottom bar in pages for ipad hide my typing?

When I type enough text to scroll to the bottom of the screen on Pages for my iPad, the new (and redundant) tool bar hides the text. I have to manually scroll the text every time I find myself at the bottom of the screen. This only happens when I am using my Apple keyboard with the iPad. Extremely annoying!
I can't believe I am the only iPad user, with an auxiliary keyboard, who is experiencing this glitch. I have been to see the "genius" – no joy. Tried everything I can think of. Anybody who can help me either get the text to scroll before going under the toolbar, or cancel the toolbar all together. (It doesn't add any features, since all the tools are available from the top of the screen.)

This is likely to be a persona (light weight theme). There is a person who uses the name MaDonna who creates Personas, and some of them are signed MaDonna in the status bar at the bottom of the browser. Why does the "Space Preview" suck with Lion

Hey,
I loved it to view Pics and pdf`s and other files with the Preview when i hit Space. But with Lion, it won`t open the pdf`s and the pics take forever to load and won`t change when i want to flip through some pics.
That ***** big time and i am getting really stressed out about that.
I don`t want to open any program just to have a quick look at files. Thats what a preview is for, isn`t it???
I hope I´m not the only one who has this problem and I hope that Apple fixes it with the next update or maybe anyone else has an idea how to fix it.

I can tell why Cmd-F blows; because Apple has figured out a better way of doing the same search.
Cmd-F used to be the preferred way to search for system files, but the searches can be inconsistent. Don't waste your time. Instead, use the key combination Cmd-Space to bring up Spotlight; this will bring up all of the relevant files, as well as web searches, and will even group the searches for your convenience.
Cmd-F is still a great tool if, say, you're using a browser like Safari; this will search a page and highlight pieces of text.
If this information doesn't suck, or even if it does, post here so others can access this same info in the future!

Why does the nav bar move in a browser??

Please help! In dreamweaver the nav bar looks perfect and is over the top of the blue line under the picture header but when I put it in a browser, it moves as you can see from my link!!

Look this is not a good solution, it just hacks around the issue.
Add this to the css style:

Now let me explain. You're trying to position elements using <br> tags which will not work. The solution I provided is a sticking plaster one and may fail in some browsers because it still relies on guess work.
A far better option would be to rebuild that top section of your page into a solid structure.
A <div> which contains the grass bank and sky image but NOT the blue line that your navigation sits on. You can set this <divs> height to the height of the image and then include your text 'Complete Energy Certificates Ltd' within it.
Like:

Why does the location bar only perform searches, even typing about:config just returns a google search for "about:config"

My location bar will only perform web searches and no longer takes the browser directly to web address entered manually. for example typing "about:config" returns the results of a google search for "about:config", typing "http://www.gawker.com" does not take me to gawkers website but rather returns google search results for "http://www.gawker.com".

Why does text color change when exporting to PDF?

I have a white background. In a textbox, I have black text and white text. When I export to a PDF, the black text stays black but the white text changes to black. Any idea why that happens?
I have a similar situation with shapes. I have a black circle and a textbox on top of it. There is white text in the textbox. When I export, the white text here also changes to black. So you can't see it in the PDF (becuase of the black circle).

I do not get the problem.
All text stays the correct color. Black is black and white is white in the pdf.
Are you opening this on a Mac in Preview, or are you opening it in Adobe Acrobat?
I have opened my .pdf (it would have helped if you had posted your problem pdf) in Acrobat on a Mac and that also has opened correctly.
I tried both exporting and printing to .pdf both work in Preview and in Acrobat.
Are you doing something else you have not told us about?

When you say the "type" do mean the pink writing and the links on the right turn white?
I would hazard a guess it is the way the site is coded which makes it render that way.
It is the way it appears in Safari .v 2.0.4 for me, the same with the Shiire browser, but not with Firefox.

Why does my image change when imported into Mac Captivate?

The image is a png and originally part of a Captivate 6 template created in Windows. When I import the image into Mac OS X Captivate 6 the quality literally changes before my eyes.
Can anyone tell me why this is happening? and how I can correct it?

Why does my shape change when I change stroke attribute?

Hello,
I am having problems with my vector shapes automaticly changing shape (the position of every point that makes up the shape) when I increase the weight of the stroke or at color of the stroke. I hope that is clear.
For example: I have a Circle, then I change the weight of the stroke by clicking up on the arrows in the stroke dialog box. Every click up or down moves each point in a different direction. By the time I settle upon the weight I want, the shape is no longer a circle, but a abstract ameba shape.
Can anyone lend me some wisdom for what I can do to fix this problem?

You select only part of the path instead of all of the path, that is some anchor points are selected, solid, as opposed to active but not selected outlined.
Option clickon the path withthe direct select tool or click on the center point to select the whole path with the direct selet tool or use the selection tool or drag a marquis with a selection tool to select the path and the anchor points
now you can move it with the arrow keys
oh I see you want to change the stroke weight you need to have the cursor active in the Stroke panels weight field in order for the weights to change so first select the path then click in the weight field of the panel.
