Why doesn't FF5 start with previous tabs & pinned tabs, & no Save or Quit at shudown.

First up, the Feedback form wouldn't submit, so my gripes are included here. Perhaps more word allowance is needed for complex issues? Or the form simply has a glitch in it.
Using FF5. At shutdown last night FF did not ask if I wanted to save the pages I had open. In internet options (from 3.6 installation till now I have check-marked that FF open with tabs & windows from last time (session). Day before yesterday it loaded the previous session tabs just fine, but this morning it loads w/o the 4 or so tabs & 3 pinn'd tabs at quitting time, only iGoogle (the designated homepage) which wasn't open at shutdown time. In fact, I think it hasn't asked if I want to quit or save consistently since upgrading to FF5 a few days ago.
Bottom line IF by default I request FF to open with tabs & windows from last time, why at shutdown is it asking if I want save and quit. As I see it, open pages ARE tabs and should be automatically reloaded at start time. ANDDDD that should include the pinned tabs. Otherwise, the pages may as well be bookmarked.
Oh, one more problem: I created two toolbars but where are they? They don't appear nor are they acknowledged on the toolbar menu.

BTW, love the Pinned Tabs but miss my Google Bookmark toolbar, however, I got around it by pinning the bookmark page. Now, if you could just get those pin-tabs to reload consistently. Wink, wink . . .

1) Firefox5.0 has a built-in option to Restore Previous Session.
go to History Menu -> at the bottom you will see RESTORE PREVIOUS SESSION option.
2) If you want Firefox to startup with tabs & windows from opened last time.
go Tools Menu -> Options -> General -> Startup section -> select '''''When Firefox start: Show my Windows and Tabs from Last Time''''' -> Click OK.
3) go to View Menu -> Toolbar -> Customize -> see if your toolbars appear here. If not then they were probably incompatible with Firefox 5.0
Check and see if things workout fine.

The second gen iPod Touch has firmware version 2.1.1(5F138) whereas the 1st Gen only allows 2.1 (5F137). Don't know if that has anything to do with it, but it's likely.

I basically want Frefox to start with the same tabs and URL locations as they were when I previously closed Firefox.

Click the Firefox menu button or Edit in the classic menu, then select Preferences, select the General tab, and under the Startup heading select "Show my windows and tabs from last time".

Why doesn't it come with an A/C power adapter?

I haven't yet purchased a separate A/C adapter. I thought that if one were necessary, it would have been supplied -- after all, an iPod ain't cheap. I know I can charge it by plugging into the USB port on the PC but this does more than charge it. I find that, although I have set it up not to sync automatically, it will reset things on my iPod -- for example, I lose my currentl Now Playing playlist. The Do Not Disconnect message is also very disconcerting until you figure out how to eject it.
When it got stuck in the diagnostic screen (another thread) I had to borrow a friend's A/C cord and plug it in so it could diagnose it ok. I don't know whether it would have been okay with just the USB cord because it asked for that too.
So, it appears that an A/C adapter is really a necessity. So why isn't one supplied with the unit?

Many people purchasing an iPod nowadays already have a previous version, thus they alread have an AC adaptor. By not including the adaptor in the box, they are able to keep the price down a bit (if it was included, we would be paying for it to be there), and allow the users to decide whether they need/want one or not.
For example, I bought a 5g iPod last december. I had no need for an adaptor because the adaptor that came with my mini I had purchased several years earlier still works just fine. By not including an accessory that I have no use for in the box, Apple probably saved me $20 or so. Seems fair enough to me.

any self-programmed programs should start with Z or Y. Otherwise it should be, that it will be overwritten if you have an sap update, new release, oss, .......
And you need a key from sap, if you want to create a program with an other beginning.

Why does Extension Manager starts with Dreamweaver?

I teach Dreamweaver at Barrington High School. Extension Manager starts with Dreamweaver, which increases the time it takes to launch Dreamweaver. Is there a way to fix this? I've never had this issue on my laptop, only in the classroom computer lab.

Skype 7.2 doesn't auto-start with Windows

A week or two ago, Skype stopped auto-starting with Windows. At the same time, I started appearing as offline to my contacts and cannot message any of my contacts. I've uninstalled/re-installed Skype but it hasn't fixed my issue. I suspect this coincided with a Windows Update but I can't be 100% sure of that. I've searched thru Event Viewer but don't find any Skype errors. Can anyone offer a suggestion on how I can get Skype working properly again?

Please, run the DirectX diagnostics tool.
Go to Windows Start and in the Run box type dxdiag.exe and press the OK button. This will start the DirectX diagnostics program. Run this diagnostics and save the results to a file. Please, attach this file to your post. Info on all installed devices should be available in this file.
Be aware that you will have to zip this file before attaching it here.

On starting Firefox, my last pinned tab is focused by default, instead of the homepage.

Something I've observed since at least today is that if I have more than one pinned tab, and I close Firefox then start it again (it is set to open my default homepage), my 'focused' tab by default is the right-most pinned tab. If I have one pinned tab, the homepage is focused as it should be.
I have tried starting Firefox with a -safe-mode and gotten the same result, however starting a new profile didn't seem to carry over the problem, therefore my problem is restricted to this profile (but at the same time, has nothing to do with my extensions).
I do not recall making any changes to the browser by myself (I'm careful about it, so I'm pretty sure about that regard). Whatever the problem is, it has crept in from somewhere else.
I tried resetting what few changed about:config entries I have, but have had no solution, and it's a minor annoyance, but it's driving me up the wall because if I have a homepage, I expect it to be open when I start the browser!

Problem appears to have been fixed upon updating to Firefox 16 Beta 2.

Why does a 'getting started with Office 2011' box pop up when I have activated already?

I already activated the Office 2011 but I continue to have the "getting Started" box pop up, which when asks me to put in my activation key. If I click "Use Office to view your files for free" I can go straight to Outlook, but I don't
like having to conitually have this pop up and I don't really understand it.
It doesn't seem to be popping up when I open word, only Outlook at the moment.

Firefox gets stuck at startup from launching the program but doesn't by starting with launching a hyperlink

if I launch FF by the desktop-button or from the start bar, it will be stuck immediately after the window is displayed. if I launch by clicking an hyperling e.g. in an e-mail, FF works correctly, the same if launching as administrator. We tried several times to re-install FF also by deleting all profile data. java also has been deleted. Th problem doesn't disappear. FF also works correctly if starting it in a different accont on the computer.
The problem started after having opened a hyperlink, where a advert popped up which I clicked off immediately.
The problem occures also immediately after re-installing with unchanged factory settings.

I deleted the desktop-link and made a new one by dragging from the firefox.exe file.
But the problem still exists.
Using FF in admin-mode is no good solution, because you always get asked, wether you want to let Firefox change your system.
Is there another possible solution?

Why doesn't adding Waveforms with compound arithmetic work?

Hello everyone,
I have a program that adds up multiple waveforms and displays them all together as one distorted curve in a single waveform graph.
I've had to add them all together using simple add functions, since the compound arithmetic block doesn't work.
Why would this be the case? Isn't it essentially just doing multiple additions in a convinient way? I've attached a VI with a simple example to show what I mean.

1. No need to wire up the N. The autoindexing will tell how many iterations to perform.
2. Use Delete From Array to remove one of the waveforms from the array. Initialize the shift register with the deleted portion.

Why doesn't command-click always open links new tabs?

Right-clicking on links and selecting "Open link in new tab" always works as described, but command-clicking on links only sometimes opens them in new tabs. I am guessing that it is Javascript related, but why can the contextual menu work, and not the click?

By default, Firefox will divert standard new windows to a tab, but if the link actually is a script that launches a window with special parameters, like a dialog, then Firefox will honor that. There is an obscure setting to disregard those parameters and force all scripted windows into a new tab as well.

On opening 2 browser Tabs are displayed doubling the infomation how can I start with only one browser Tab?

each time I access firefox 2 tabs are created each with the same information. To retrieve the information I must manually close the second tab else the info will not display properly. I am wondering is there something I can do to stop this from happening? It happens with direct open or from a link and if allready on a web page and open another via link 2 more Tabs are created it can become very crowded and hard to know which was first tab created. Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
