Why doesn't NOAA "time" website no longer give correct time??
For the past several weeks I have been unable to get the correct time from the NOAA website in Ft Collins CO. This has been working fine for years and to my knowledge is the only site affected.
Upon log-in get a black page indicating trying to connect which it never does.When I try to log-out indicates "firefox is engaged" and I will have to restart browser. Anyone know what gives???
Try to update Java to the latest Java 7 version if that site is using a Java applet to display the time.

Try installing the 10.6.8 Combo update which contains all the latest updates for that OS. Be aware that there appears to be no further support for Snow Leopard.

I have never had issues with purchases made on my IPad or IPhone transferring to the other device. Today, I purchased a song from ITunes on my IPad and it didn't transfer/sync to my IPhone 4S. I tried syncing my phone on for the song on my MacBook Pro, and I got this crazy (and annoying) message stating I can't transfer the song for NINETY DAYS! What did Apple do to ITunes and why? I am getting so frustrated with Apple that if this continues, I will never again purchase another Apple product.
There should be no reason you can't sync your itunes library to your iphone...
Plug your phone into itunes... click on the iphone that is in the corner.. .it usually says your name... such as Lisa's iphone or whatever... then you will see some tabs such as... summary, music, videos, photos... on each one of those you need to check what you want to sync to your iphone. Once you check those boxes then click apply then scroll down and sync... do that one each section -photos, music etc...
Apple doesn't want you to buy things over... that's why when you buy something trough itunes you can download it as many times as you want for life! -

iTunes used to automatically sync all playlists including the 'My Top Rated' to my iPhone. It no longer does and furthermore, when I specifically tick the radio button which syncs only selected playlists (under which I've ticked the playlist 'My Top Rated') it still doesn't sync it to my iPhone. This is just about the only niggle i've had with an otherwise perfectly working 3yr old phone; not bad I guess! I'd be grateful for any help on this

Why doesn't the time capsule dismount
I had to reinstall Lion on my MacBook Pro but now my Time Capsule drive remains mounted on the desktop after the hourly backup. How can I get it to dismount automatically?
Your German Time Capsule should be compatible with the Internet in Australia. There might be an issue with authorized Wi-Fi frequencies, but thats a separate issue.
What type of broadband service are you trying to use? Are you using a modem between the Time Capsule and the broadband connection that's compatible with the new service? Have you configured the Time Capsule to work with the broadband service (presumably DHCP or PPPoE)? Have you talked to your ISP to see if they need to make any configuration changes at their end to work with your modem?
Have you tried reseting the modem? If it's new to your configuration, you may need to reset your broadband modem to convince it to connect to a "new" device. Depending on the model of modem, that can be as easy as removing power for a few moments. If that doesn't work, remove power and wait 15 minutes. Further reset steps can involve pressing a "reset" button or removing a battery if the modem has one. In the worst case, your ISP may need to edit its settings to update to the MAC address of the new router. If they won't or can't do that, powering down the modem for 16 to 36 hours can reset the connection. -

PLEASE reinstate the TEXT to SPEECH as it was in all earlier versions. This is a highly used benefit to, I'm sure many happy users - UNTIL the new "DOWNGRADE" of Pages - a great disappointment.
If you have a "FIX" that works across all applications … as before "Pages 9," please share it with the forum.

(Using OS X 10.9 Maverics …)If you have a comment you wish to direct at Apple regarding Text to Speech, then that is an OS X feedback issue. If you have an issue with Pages for Mac, it is a different feedback page.
No one on this community forum is going to reinstate Text to Speech as we are strictly volunteers and not Apple badged employees. Apple won't see your post. Their engineers are busy elsewhere.
Use the formal feedback process above, and do not be surprised if you never hear from Apple. -
Why doesn't request desktop website work?
I installed the Firefox beta on my Nexus 7. The Request Desktop site option is present, but not on a More option under settings, but rather at the root directory. I did check this box, but when I go to sites...cwtv.com and www.espn.go.com beihg examples...I only get the mobile site! This is a problem, how can I address this?
Some sites read the navigator.userAgent property in JavaScript instead of looking at the User-Agent request header. This issue should be fixed by https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=768035.

Why doesn't flex time appear on tracks previously created?
I just upgraded to GB 11 and the song files I had previously created before upgrading, do not have flextime option.

Can maneuver around some by right clicking and opening in new tab. "Select a School" drop down is a specific problem area. Some times numerous clicks of the mouse will open the page properly. Still run in to problems with no response from a click or missing info.
A number of updates occurred recently, not sure where problem is. I currently have Java disabled, but tried with it enabled and no help. Uninstalled & reinstalled FireFox (18), no help. Thinking maybe a problem with FF 18 and Adobe Flash, but not sure what to do.

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.

To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.
* Create an allow cookie exception (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep such a cookie, especially for secure websites and if cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in Private Browsing mode.

Why does apple allow apps in the App Store hijack your Internet when certain websites? Why doesn't apple remove their products from the App Store?.
Apple saw it as their responsibility since the redirection took me to the App Store. They assisted me in stopping the redirection which is occurring on many peoples iPhones. It's a have java script problem that adking is using to get you to buy their games. The websites work normal and then all of the sudden the website is taken over by adking.com. You can no longer use the website as it immediately takes you to the App Store without ever showing a popup to cancel the redirection. They were very helpful fixing the problem should others experiencing this specifically with adking.com.

thanks for the reply. You prompted me to check and I realised it wasn't installed on my test laptop and opening in Microsoft Reader. I've installed it now and it works.
