Why don't my graphics appear in local preview anymore?

As recently a yesterday, graphics were displaying fine in local browser preview. Today I synced with Adobe and installed an update to Dreamweaver CC, now I don't get graphics displayed in my browser previews.
I got a message that this doesn't work unless I'm using a testing server--I'm not--and that I should set up previews to use a temporary copy. I tried that. It "works" but I don't care for it. It changes the URL.
So, I designated my remote server as a testing server--two check marks for my FTP server in site setup. This also works--I see graphics--but again I don't care for it. Am I now required to use a testing server on my local PC to see graphics? I'm not developing 'dynamic sites' with PHP or or other server-side features. I'm fairly new to this... I like previewing locally.

I never found the solution to my problem. My other sites don't display this problem, so I surmise that the problem was my site, not DW. Early on I had deleted the site by deleting the folder in Windows explorer, rather than deleting it within Dreamweaver > Manage Sites. I then recreated the site with the same folder and site name. Perhaps this confused an internal database in DW?
I've just recreated the site with a new folder name, and the problem appears to be gone.
So, my problem is resolved.
However, the problem began AFTER I did a Sync with Adobe CC and installed an update to DW yesterday. I know that the Sync reset some things in my setup, because I accepted your cloud's settings over my own to resolve reported "conflicts". I noticed other changes.
The file extensions and paths in my code were fine. Link checker reported no problems. Links were set relative to root folder. However I encountered the problem as well when I tried setting them relative to to the document.
When I set up a remote FTP server, and left test server unchecked under Advanced Setting, I wasn't getting graphics in local Preview. When I checked both Remote server and Test server, everything was fine on my remote site but, of course, I couldn't Preview the site locally. The preview took me out to the remote server.
At one point I was getting an error message that content could not be viewed locally, that I should either set up a test server or select temporary files for previews--which worked but the urls were changed.

1) The best way to relocate the iTunes library folder is to move the entire iTunes folder with all subfolders to the new path, then press and hold down shift as start iTunes and keep holding until prompted to choose a library, then browse to the relocated folder and open the file iTunes Library.itl inside it.
If you've done something different then provide some more details about what is where and I should be able to help.
2) Purchases on the device should automatically transfer to a Purchased on <DeviceName> playlist, but it my depend a bit on whether automatic iCloud downloads are enabled. If there is a cloudy link then the transfer might not happen. You can use File > Devices > Transfer Purchases. In iTunes you should also check out iTunes Store > Quick Links > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer.
3) Backup the device, then immediately restore it. In some cases you need to add a restore as new device into that equation. Obbviously not to be attempted until you're sure all your media is in your library. See Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device should it be needed.
4) I believe there is complimentary 1 incident 90-day support with hardware purchases, but no free software support for iTunes itself. AppleCare gets you a different level of support.

Why don't new apps appear on the first home screen page?

I like keeping a very minimal home screen (six folders and that's it). Every time I download new apps, they appear on a second page even though there are plenty of slots left on the first page. I then have to move them back - one by one - to the first page again and sort them into folders. Is this a bug, or is there some reason why it should work like this?

From my observation, what you're seeing is the way it works. I have a few empty slots on my first page. When I download apps, they don't go there. They go to whatever page after that has space. I suspect Philly_Phan is probably on to something. I know I only keep the things I use a lot on my first page. I wouldn't want it getting clutter with every free game I downloaded to try out.

Why don't my bookmarks appear when I click on Bookmarks? Instead I have click on a half a dozen items, menu's, etc.

This is ridiculous. The INTENT of having "Bookmarks" is to have them easily accessible. Why do we have to click a half dozen menu's just to see the bookmarks? Should click "Bookmarks" and bookmarks appear.
When you bookmark a Book, you go RIGHT to the page you want. You don't have to go to the library index, find what book, what author, how often you use this book, table of contents, find what chapter, find what page, etc.
This is ridiculous. I'm going to use another browser.

In what bookmarks folder are the bookmarks located that you try to search?
You can click the "Show your bookmarks" button that is positioned next to the star on the location/address bar to get a drop-down list with the bookmarks.
Only bookmarks that were created by clicking the star once and that haven't been moved out of the Unsorted folder can't be reached directly.
You can also open the bookmarks sidebar via that drop-down list or use the Ctrl+B shortcut to have the sidebar where you can use its search bar to find a bookmark.
For easiest access you can move a bookmark the the Bookmarks Toolbar folder and have the Bookmarks Toolbar visible.

Why don't connected shares appear in sidebar?

In 10.4, when I connected to a network share, it automatically appeared in the sidebar, just like my hard drives. It doesn't do this in 10.5. It shows servers, which I can click on, then navigate and find the share. Why doesn't the share just appear in the sidebar like the hard drives? It appears on the desktop just like a disk would. I save almost exclusively to this network share and this extra navigation required in save boxes is time-consuming. I noticed I can drag the share to the Finder sidebar and it will stay there until I reboot or sleep, but why wouldn't this happen automatically? Am I doing something wrong when connecting, or is this just the way it works now?

Why don't my graphics bullets print in IE?

However, I am confused as Willam's reply suggests you and he have looked at this offline so presumably you emailed him direct as well as me. Also he has indicated the issue is using a background image in the style.
I'm thinking you could get around that by creating a number of list styles in Rh, each with a different image.

Why don't place markers appear (so I can trim/crop)?

I've got a .mpg file which I've converted to a .mov file; neither one, when I open them with QuickTime 7.5 (I have the registered PRO version), is showing me those little triangles under the position marker that would enable me to indicate a region to crop or trim. Why? How do I get them to appear?

QuickTime Pro can play but can't edit MPEG-1 files so you will not see any edit points.

Why don't rotated photos appear as saved in Screensaver?

When photos are rotated and saved by Preview to a Photo folder, the Screensaver only opens them in the unrotated format.

The fault is not in Screensaver but Preview. Apple implemented a new system for Preview and rotation. It is, to put it kindly, inconsistent in its effects. In theory what it is supposed to do is not change any pixels, but rather to add a rotation note to file's metadata. Applications that can read the metadata will display the file with the rotation, those that can't display it without. Also the thumbnails drawn in Finder will display the state of the pixels (unrotated). To most people this whole thing is confusing enough right there--but wait! there's more!--what it does, or doesn't do, also seems to vary depending on the file type and whether you do a save or save as. It is so confusing that I would recommend against using Preview to handle rotations. If you have Photoshop or Photoshop Elements use that, if not then get the shareware program Graphic Converter. You don't mention which computer you have, some come with Graphic Converter preinstalled.

Why don't section titles appear in toc?

Have a book with multiple chapters, and in one of the chapters the sections titles don't appear in the chapter toc. I obviously deleted something, but can't figure out what?

I've imported jpg photos from my desktop. They appear in the PROJECTS list. I can label the faces. However, they do not show up as a project, nor in the photos nor in the faces, nor in the last imports. What's up? How do I fix the problem?

Long story short, Adobe use the camera manufacturer's SDK, so support is usually waiting on Canon. They've recently updated their SDK but there are some crashes which they have yet to fix, before Adobe can do too much, so we don't have an idea on date yet, sorry.

How can I view (and cancel) downloads that are waiting to begin? Why don't pending downloads appear on the downloads list (marked as "Pending" or "Waiting for other downloads to complete" or ...) ? In general, Firefox is a great browser. Thanks!

Run the microsoft fix it and have it uninstall AIR
Delete the folder: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe AIR (this might also be in Program Files(x86))
Delete the folder: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe
Delete the folder: C:\Users\chris\AppData\Local\Adobe\AIR
Install AIR 3.2 by itself, from: http://airdownload.adobe.com/air/win/download/3.2/AdobeAIRInstaller.exe
Install Adobe Community Help from here: http://www.adobe.com/support/chc/air/350/AdobeHelp.air

Why don't my tones appear on my iphone after the ios update?

After updating my phone to the iOS 6.0 I can't find the tones I downloaded (to the phone), even though iTunes shows them in the "Tones" page and they even appear on the "On this iPhone" page in iTunes...but they are not in the tones list on the phone. Where are they?

i just ran the diagnostic in itunes and it says that itunes doesn't find any usb ports. they're clearly there and working. thought i'd add the info just to see if anyone had a clue as to what was going on.
