Why have I been charged twice and what for?

I have been charged two amounts, I presume for my landline to skype service. I would like to know why, and what this payment has been taken for? I Have been using this service since 2011 and cannot remember this happening before.
PayPal states that [email protected] is to be used as the customer service email, which has an auto responder stating that the email address is no longer in use. The message directs me to manually find and use a contact form which I could not find.
This has left me incredibly frustrated, to the point that I would like to cancel this subscription immediately.
Please contact me as soon as possible.

Those are just the system checking that there is a valid account in the bank and that there are funds available. Those are only pending charges, they will not be completed and no funds will actually be removed from your account.

    I'm just guessing since you provide so little information about your situation, but look under the Store menu in iTunes for the "Check for available downloads" command and run that. You may find the tracks there to be downloaded.
    If not, and/or if you are certain you've been double-charged (and one charge wasn't the normal hold placed when you first enter a credit card), contact the iTunes Store Customer Service department from their Support page (select the category and subcategory closest to the issue you're reporting and you'll find either an "Express Lane" button - just follow the instructions to get to the contact form, or an "Email Us" button) and explain the problem to them.

    IGNORE the last post: he thought you are using Lion or Mountain Lion.
    Since you are using Snow Leopard, you need to install Rosetta.  It can be found on your Snow Leopard Install DVD in the Options section.
    Once installed all should be well again.
    Also, if your computer is connected to the internet when the Dialog Box about PowerPC applications comes up, it MIGHT allow you to download Rosetta from the internet.  There has been some discussion that Apple has discontined internet download of Rosetta into Snow Leopard.
    Someone else will have to address your lost files problem.

    I signed up and purchased a discount plan of Creative Cloud Complete for $40/mo for the first year on Black Friday (11/28/14). I downloaded the Creative Cloud desktop app as well as Lightroom and Photoshop a few days later when my new computer came in. They have both reached the trial limit (I'm not even sure why it put me as a trial when I had already purchased Creative Cloud Complete). Since then I have downloaded and installed AE and PR and they have about 15 days left on the trial. My account has now been charged $40 twice. The first time was on 11/28/14 when I signed up, and the second time was on 12/29/14. Both were for the amount of $39.99. When I log into my Adobe Creative Cloud account online, it's asking me if I'm "ready to buy?". Why does it say this if I have already purchased a plan? How do I get the information to license all of the software? Nowhere in my account settings can I find a way to license all of the Creative Cloud programs I have installed. Please help! I have tons of projects I need to be working on and cannot afford any delays!

    I have just had a payment taken from my account by Skype. I have no idea what I'm paying for or why. I live on disability benefits and that is more than a weeks food money for something I have never used, don't want and thought was free. I now have no money for food this week.     Skype to skype video and audio calls are free. You only need to pay for calls if you are calling landline or mobile phones from Skype. Also if you have a Skype number to receive calls from landline or mobile phones you need to pay a subscription fee for that number.
    Seems you purchased an annual Skype number subscription a year ago and set it up for renewal and that's what happened now. You can verify your active subscriptions on your www.skype.com/go/myaccount
    Since you stated that you don't want this subscription and you are not using it we've cancelled your payment agreement and issued a refund for the payment taken. It might take a few days until that is processed and the money show up at your card's account.

    You should be able to re download apps on all your authorized Macs using the same Apple ID for free.
