Can not open document "xy.key" in keynote 6.

my yosemite crashed while working on a keynote presentation, and after reboot, while opening keynote, it says "can not open document xy.key".
Googling tells me, that in older versions your able to change the .key extension to zip, and repair that file.
In Keynote 6 this is not possible anymore regarding to file format changes.
How can I rescue my 30 Megabyte document?

If other presentations are opening without problems, the file you are trying to open is probably corrupt and unrepairable so open a back up file of the presentation

Can not open document pages ipad urgent

Hello everyone, I have the application pages on ipad go to open a document and tells me can not open document help me as I urgently

I created many documents using Pages and imports other documents into Pages. Now, many cannot be opened while others kept prompting me to choose between two versions -- one from my iPhone and one from my iPad. The weird thing is that I don't even u pages on my iPhone. The app isn't even installed there.

With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
Copy the SQLite3.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
Restart the programme all should be well
In case that your OS is (64 bit)
1. Open windows explorer, go to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
2. Copy file "SQLite3.dll"
3. Now paste it in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support
4. Restart the programme, it should not display that message, it should be clear.

I recently installed Pages 09 along with Snow Leopard. Now I can not open previously saved documents in Pages. Help?

You haven't given a lot of detail so I'm going with the most common causes for problems with iWork & Snow Leopard.
First, use the Mac OS 10.6.4 combo updater. This fixes a problem with the Hoefler Text font that is not fixed using the delta update (10.6.1 > 10.6.2).
Second, make sure your iWork applications are updated. For iWork '08 that is Pages 3.0.3 & Numbers 1.0.3. For iWork '09 it's Pages 4.0.3 & Numbers 2.0.3. If you're not running the latest versions & Software Update says your software is up to date, make sure the applications are where the installer initially put them. The updaters are very picky. If the location is not where the updater is programmed to look or if the folder doesn't have the name the updater looks for, it will not work. The applications cannot be renamed or moved. They must be in the iWork '08 or iWork '09 folder in Applications. That iWork folder must be named iWork '08 or iWork '09. If it doesn't have the '08 or '09 Software Update won't find them & the updaters won't work.
Third, use Disk Utility to repair permissions.

You do NOT need to restore your iPad.
I believe that the problem is that there is a disconnect with your iTunes account and your iPad. What you are experiencing is a somewhat common issue after you sync your iPad, update your device - it could be a number of reasons that are causing it. the recommended fix is to download another app in order to "reconnect" your ID and iTunes account to the iPad.
You can read more about it here. You will need a WiFi internet connection in order to fix it - or you have to be able to sync with your own iTunes library.
