Why I can't import AI files into Flash CC?
I used to work with CS5 and I had no problem importing files, but with the CC version, simply the images didn't appear... I don't understand why.
Should I change something in preferences? It seems as if Flash doesn't recognise the ai files
Test out if you can directly copy ai files to the clipboard and paste it in flash.
There should pop up a dialogue, where you get 4 options.
The first one will convert the ai to bmp., which you rarely want.
the lower three imports the drawing as vector.

If the images aren't showing up in DW, why do you think they will show in Muse? Obviously, something is wrong with the paths to those images. And that will most likely be due to the underlying code.

I shot video on a Panasonic P2 and I'm trying to import the MXF files to Final Cut Pro but when I try to import, the only thing that imports is a blurry image of each clip. There's no audio and no video...how can I import MXF files into Final Cut Pro?
at the end, you say "import preferences", which program are you describing?
So im safer using footage that is remotely being pulled from iphoto...
vs
using footage that is imported into FCP from imovie?
Is there anything i can do in fcp to make this footage more reliable or safer or more stable as i pull remotely from iphoto?
All the footage, and all the libraries to all programs, or on a new pegasus 12tb raid 5 setup fyi. -

Buzzword lets you import Microsoft Word (DOC, DOCX), plain text (TXT), Rich Text Format (RTF), Word 2003 XML, and Open Document Format (.odt) files. (Font substitution and other formatting changes sometimes occur on import, depending on the content of the document.) You'll need to convert your HTML file to one of the supported file types before importing to Buzzword.

Can't import prores files into Premiere Pro CC or SpeedGrade CC. But I can into After Effects CC.
I also can't export to DNxHD files to an MXF file either.
I do have latest Quicktime Pro installed and I also have Avid Media Composer and the other pieces of the Avid package.
Conflict?I only have one account on the computer and it has Administrator priveleges. What I am doing to make it work is opening the application using the "Run as Administrator" command (e.g., right click application shortcut on desktop, choose "Run as Administrator"). I am not a Windows guru but I would guess there is something different between opening an Application with a user that has Administrator priveleges and opening an Application choosing "Run as Administrator". Also, your answer still does not address the fact that I can't use my jog wheel.
Anyone else have some ideas? -
I can't import raw files into lightroom
I have been using lightroom 4. I shoot with a nikon d300s. I recently used a nikon D610 and now it says preview not available. It also says the the raw images aren't able to import. So I recently upgraded to Lightroom 5 and it still says preview not available. I need some suggestions on how to import them.
I don't use nikon software. I just use lightroom. I just got lightroom 5. I tried to update to 5.3 but couldn't find the location where to find it.

I have hundreds of old MPEGs stored in my nexternal drive, but unfortunatly i was not able import them into iMovie. I did the following trick: I created a new set of a folder and subfolder and called it "Virtual_CAM/DCIM" and saved it on my desktop. Then went to Disk Utilities>File Menue>New>Disk Image from Folder. Then selected the folder on my desktop and clicked enter. I moved the .dmg file to my external (or just keep it on your desktop). I clicked on the .dmg file. It shoud be visible on the Finder. Open your Imovie and import as you do from your camera. -
Can't Import AAC file into Premier CS4

As the title says, I'm not able to import AAC files into my Premier Pro projects. The funny thing is that these files were created in Premier Pro CS4, so what gives? I took the audio out of a video and exported ONLY the audio in AAC format. But when I want to import these files into a project, it gives me a file not supported message. What am I doing wrong?It says the codec is installed, so it should work no? I mean, like I said in the OP, I created these files in Premier Pro. I find it odd that I can't import files I created in the same program I used to export them.
I do agree that if you Export a file from a program, it should Import into that same program. That similar once did, but do not now, indicates that something has changed. Trying to find out what that is can be a bit time-consuming and can lead to dead ends.
I would try the Export again, but use PCM/WAV, to make sure that that method, format will work.

Can't import .mov file into iMovie
I have a video clip in .mov format that won't seem to import so that I can edit it. I'm a guy who's worked with windows for years and I am Mac illiterate. Is there a reason why I can't import the clip, but it still plays in quicktime?

to give you some background info for better understanding in the future:
the file extension".mov" is a bit irritating, should NOT be translated with "movie"! a .mov is just a socalled container, it can contain (sic) many kind of media: stills, music, VR...- and for sure video.
just to impress you, have a look in this list:

iMovie is an edit-app meant to work with firewire-connected miniDV camcorders..... you can import "other" files&formats, but then it gets a bit tricky....
so, my usual guess, you're trying to import some mpegs (contained in a .mov file, you don't read .mpg as suffix.....)

I can't import mp3 files into iTunes
Just recently, I find that I can't drag/drop (or import) .mp3 files into iTunes (12.1.0.50).
I did confirm that the files aren't locked.
Any ideas? Thanks!No mp3 files from any source, including iTunes itself, or just some particular batch of mp3s files from some unspecified source? It isn't unusual for some encoders to produce mp3s that are not compliant with iTunes. You can try using the application MP3 Scan+Repair (http://triq.net/mac/mp3-validator-mac-os-x) to fix them but sometimes you have to re-encode them. Try playing with Quicktime Player instead and report if it will play the files.
Oh, it also isn't unusual that files do not have labels built in. They are adding to iTunes but not ending up where you expect them to be. -

Have you tried opening the PDF in Preview and printing using the PDF option selecting save PDF to iPhoto?
