Why, I can't transfer apps (games) that i've download from iTunes with my computer to my iPad?I already did before like authorization my computer, sync, backup files. But when I want to transfer apps, it's can't. Any clues?

I can't transfer apps ( games ) from my iTunes library with my PC computer to my iPad. I already authorized computer, sync, but it can't installed apps that I've dowload before with my computer from iTunes to my iPad. Why?

Hi all for those still poping over to this topic, here is one problem that has not highlighted in the forums.
if you have used different accounts to download different apps into your ipad/iphone you need to authorize the computer for both accounts.
eg. [email protected] downloaded 'angry birds' and [email protected] downloaded 'money converter' both accounts need to be authorized on the computer will you then be able to transfer all the apps.
this works if you also used more then 3 accounts to download apps to your ipad/iphone. if you can't remember which accounts downloaded then i can't really help you there haha.

You can try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will refund or credit you : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption. The contact methods that are available vary by country (and possibly by time of day), but you might get options on that page.
You can turn off in-app purchases on your iPad via Settings > General > Restrictions > In-App Purchases 'off', and depending upon what version of iOS that you have on it you may have a Require Password option on the Restrictions screen that you can set to 'Immediately' (there is a default 15 minutes during which it doesn't need to be re-entered).

How do I sync/import/transfer music that wasn't downloaded from itunes from my iphone to my itunes??

I recently purchased a new laptop. I redownloaded itunes and synced my phone to my new laptop. The only issue I'm having is my music. All the songs I have purchased on the iphone transfered just fine but I have songs that was not downloaded through itunes. Some were burned from cds (burned cds, etc.), some were transfered from other music players I had and others were downloaded from a different music provider. (All this was done on my old computer.) I'm afraid that if I sync my phone that i'll lose 75% of my music on my iphone. I can sync it just fine but I keep Sync Music unchecked because I get an error box saying that the phone will be erased and replaced w/the playlists backed up. Is there any way I can get ALL my music on my itunes w/o losing anything?

Sync is only oneway, from PC to your device. Unless you have the music on your PC, iTunes is going to wipe out what you have on your device if you are syncing to a new library.
The only way you can do is to get a third part software to extract those music from your device over to your PC.

The backups for your version are date-time stamped as the name and with an extension of .fcpproject. They look like this.
The original project is named CurrentVersion.fcpproject.
You need to replace the CurrentVersion with the backup file and rename it to be CurrentVersion.fcpproject.
With FCPX closed, I suggest you move the original to the Trash, but not empty it. Then promote your backup one level higher in the project folder hierarchy (to be at the same level that the original previously occupied. Then rename the backup.
Open up FCPX, which should now recognize your project.

I upgraded itunes. Then logged on to my account. But when I start to file/devices to transfer - it lists his account not mine.
Somehow itunes is associating my window log in with him and it lists our apps together (his/mine) under the library section/apps. I think I will end up with his apps and mine then he will end up with the same.
Any ideas how to get the device transfer to list my account?

Best option is to make each a user on the computer then it work as it should otherwise you need to change appleid in itunes between phones being connected

If you put them on your computer, then they will be in your "Library" in itunes.
You sync them to your iphone as you did before.
Open itunes, plug in iphone, select what you want to sync and sync.

Once you successfully add you iTunes library to iTunes Match, you go to Settings>iTunes & App Store on your iOS device and turn on iTunes Match. Your iTunes Match library will then appear on your iOS device.

Itunes can't locate purchased songs even after re-downloaded from itunes

I had lost some of my data and with the help of this forum I was able to find my purchase history and re-download 580 songs to my computer but when I go to itunes alot of the items I just downloaded are not located by itunes? Did I miss something? Please help.

I just bought an iMac and am having trouble getting my iTunes transferred over from my PC. Is there a faster way than transferring the songs to my external hard drive, then to the Mac? Also when I signed in as myself to iTunes on the Mac, I bought a couple of songs from iTunes and now it won't allow me to play them. It asks me to authorize the computer and then says it was successful. But then it goes through the same thing motions each time on the same song. I can't play them at all and I bought them on the Mac TODAY! I have only had one iTunes account, so that isn't the issue...any idea what I can do? Is this going to happen with all of my songs? I have been getting this error message for a while... it seems to be the only thing that helps is deleting all my photos and all my music and the bigger space sucking apps.... however what good is the phone if i have to delete everything i use in order to download something new.... What am i doing wrong? I dont want to keep deleteing all my music or pics just so i can buy one or two songs from itunes...

If your iPhone is full, then you have to delete things to add new ones. Additional space on iCloud does not have anything to do with how much is being stored on your iPhone. The iPhone has a limited capacity, as with any storage device, and so can only hold so much.
You can see in iTunes how much space is on your iPhone and what amount of space what you wish to put on it will require. If what you wish to put on the iPhone is more than the iPhone can handle, then you will just need to cut back on what you wish to keep on it. Or sell your current iPhone and buy one with more capacity.

I click the import cd button and Itunes goes through the motion of copying and importing the cds, but the songs are not in my music library. I have searched everywhere to find where these cds might be, but to no avail. Could really use some help here. Never used to have this problem.

Are they in the relevant artist & album folders when you look via Windows Explorer. If so something may have gone wrong with the index of the Music playlist. Download the current iTunes Free Single of the Week. I know it sounds odd, but it should fix the problem.
If that doesn't work close iTunes and delete the hidden file sentinel from inside the main iTunes folder, then start iTunes again. It should run a consistency check when it starts up.

Why can't I immediately see the music that I've downloaded from itunes from my phone? I have to get to a wifi area and look for the music before it actually shows in my library. It wasn't like that before.

Sometimes when I'm at work or just out and about I will download an album to my iPhone. It used to show up immediately in my iTunes library and I could start listening to my new music right away. It was awesome on trips or in the office or just with friends. Someone would mention a song, I beebop over to itunes, download it and BOOM everyone gets to listen to the song! Now, however, If I download any music without WiFi, it won't sync immediately to my library. It appears to be doing so, but I can't actually see any of the music until I get into a WiFi friendly area. Once I've done that, the music stays there so it's not the end of the world...I am getting my music. But, dang it, I want it now! Just like I used to!
Is anyone else having this problem? I have the iPhone 5 and it's fully updated.
