Have you checked your mouse settings in System Preferences? If not, why not? Please detail ALL you have done so far in the way of troubleshooting? Need this info to avoid the been there done that scenarios.

I too have an iPad smart cover, and all that clicking sound is is basically the standard lock sound for iOS. The Smart cover is equipped with magnets inside, and the iPad is also equipped with magnets, and when those magnets are closed together the iPad goes to sleep.

I upgraded to v3.6.22 today and have lost the ability to ctrl-click a link to open the link in a new tab; how do I get this back?
Strangely enough, putting my laptop into Hibernate mode solved the problem. It didn't even take a reboot.

Photo stream photos are only kept in photo stream for 30 days, although up to 1000 will remain on your device until you delete them. When you connect a new device to your photo stream it will only receive photos added in the last 30 days as the earlier photos are no longer there. Chances are, the missing photos were more than 30 days old.
If the missing photos are on another device, you could create a shared photo stream including the missing photos and invite yourself, as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mmc0cd7e99. You would see then be able to access the photos on your new phone. Another option is to import them to your computer (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083), then sync them to your new phone using iTunes. -

I am getting an error when resizing the Mac HD. I had a separate partition for Windows, but have deleted it and want to add the empty 50GB partition to my Mac HD.

When I attempt to sign out of Hot Mail by clicking "Sign Out," I get the "Sign In" instruction as I always have, however, the green Firefox navigation button remains on bright green (not going to gray) and my MSN home page will not close automatically as usual. We have the directory C:\Program Files\Common Files\Business Objects\3.0 and all the versions match what is located in the project's bin directory. Does this confirm that I did have XI installed and licensed at one time?
If I purchase a more recent version, couldn't I update the reports to use the newer version? I have all the source code.

Also, just a shot in the dark, but I'm assuming it wouldn't do me any good to simply restore the aforementioned folder to my C drive? Would that work if I registered all the dll's?

To be clear, I do have VS 2003 & 2005, and I have the source code. I just have never used Crystal Reports in any of my .NET apps because the need wasn't there, so recompiling is not out of the question.

Also, I looked at the CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.dll that was in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Business Objects\3.0\Managed folder and when I right-click and view the properties, then the Version tab, in addition to the 11.0.9500.2 version number, there is a property called Product Version that has the value .NET. Does that mean that this dll was bundled with Visual Studio?
I also found this directory on the old server...does this tell you anything?

I did see that you can still buy XI from CDW. I have a call into them currently to check with Business Objects for any registrations from my company.

A box appears around the apps I am trying to click on and I can't scroll. I have to click many times for the app to work.
Sounds like you have VoiceOver (one of the accessibility features) 'on' - if you turn the volume up do you get a voice saying what you are tapping ? If you do then try triple-clicking the home button and see if that turns it off, and if it does you can then change what a triple-click does via Settings > General > Accessibility > Triple-Click Home.
If that doesn't turn it off then you can either turn it off directly on the iPad (you need to use a tap-to-select and then double-tap to activate/type process and 3 fingered scrolling) to go into Settings > General > Accessibility and turn VoiceOver 'off', or you can do it by connecting to your computer's iTunes : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4064 -

In the Google topic box, why do I have to click in it even thoght the cursors is in it blinking?
On the Google start page, which I have Mozilla defaulted to, the cursor is in the topic box area. So when I type nothing happens until I click inside the box, then I can start typing. This started being an issue in 3.6 for me. Is there any fix or setting to eliminate this annoying extra work type thing?

Why do I have to click twice on safari in the dock to activate it??
...this is annoing!!, when it doesn´t recognize my first click,(safari, systemprefs. app) it´s similar to multiple clicks on the latest iphone screen(ipad mini too.) in some areas !! What is this??? when click on other apps in dock like skype etc. it takes me directly to that app!

Sometimes my browser gets inactive even thou the window is active and I can not click (pointer doesnt switch from arrow to hand) on any links or do anything in the browser. My best "workaround" is to click on the desktop and then go back to the browser window and then I can follow link or similar. But, next time I want to do something I have to repeat the procedure again, click on desktop then back to browser and so on. On some sites with scroll down menys it gets a little tricky since I only get one shot at the time.

When Flash "steals focus" from Firefox, you need to click outside the Flash presentation in the browser window, to regain focus in Firefox. A major problem arises when the Flash presentation is in the entire browser window, though. The Firefox developers are working on fixing that in Firefox, but it doesn't look like a fix is going to make it into Firefox 4.0, though.
