Why is it so difficult to raise a complaint in BT

Why is it so difficult to raise a complaint in BT and get a senior manager or in fact the HLC team. 12 months of issues and complaints not resolved no managers able to keep promises and no statisfaction at all. Technical support are useless especially all they want to do is more line tests i had 5 in 1 day and each time same outcome, 6 engineer visits all told me same thing its the exchange and not the property or lines in. I am not happy as many departments dont communicate to each other let alone to me the Customer. I am not happy with BT at all and wish to cancel but alas you want to charge me for the privilege to leave, in fact you should be paying me for all the disruption stress and systematic failures.

    This is crazy! I paid for this service to make it easier to create forms for a company that has had several acquisitions all over the globe. This was supposed to make it easy to create forms hosted on adobe so no matter what happens on all their servers, we would be safe using this forms service until we can integrate all acquisitions and build a permanent web site on a single server. Now I find out that even this is a major issue sending emails to team members, many I have never met so making them a collaborator or even setting up forwarded emails is not something I wanted to do. This service was advertised as simple and easily send notifications to many people. I am now frustrated and thinking this was a waste of money! Why is it like that?

  • Someone tell me why is it so difficult to print from my Intel Mac Mini

    I'm so frusrated at this Intel Mac Mini of mine. I wish honest to God that I never bought this evil little machine.
    I have the following printers:
    HP Photosmart 7550
    HP Laserjet 1012
    Canon MP830
    I can't get anything to print! It so **** frustrating. I switched my wife from her WinXP to a Intel Mac Mini (10.4.6). She hates the Mac Mini because she can't print anything.
    Why is it so difficult? Please someone enlighten me.
    After months (not kidding) of searching on the web I was able to get the Photosmart 7550 to print using one of the gimp drivers, but I couldn't get it to change the paper type or quality. So that tells me I can't print any photos from my Mac. Need to use the WinXP box.
    Then I was able to get the 1012 printing by selecting "open using rosetta" for the Printer Setup Utility, and selecting the "HP LaserJet 4 series - Gimp-Print v5.0.0-beta2". So now I could at least print BW docs. Great the Mac Mini is not a total waste. Then I updated software, which include the Mac mini SMC Firmware Update. I don't know what did it, but now I can't print to the 1012 anymore. ARGHH!
    I tried deleting the Library/Printer/HP directory, Reseting the Printing System, Restarting the CUPs, Installing PDDs, Installing the gimp drivers. What the ****! Why do I need to do any of this? I thought the Mac was suppose to be so easy. With all those **** commercials talking about how the Mac can do anything a PC can do, you would think one of those things is being able to print.
    Those people making those commericals should try using the "Printer Setup Utility" program. That will change their tune. First you have to search for your printer, then pick the Printer Model, and then pick the specific model. And God forbid you click to fast, oops you've now picked a generic printer, needs to start all over again. There's no back button. You've already committed to the generic printer type. Now you have to open the Printer Setup Utility again and delete the generic printer and go search for your printer again. Lame.
    Don't get me started with the Canon MP 830. I thought, ok maybe its because the 1012 and 7550 are older printers. I'll go buy a new printer - they must have current drivers for that. Canon tells me that the MP 830 is only a single OS machine, meaning you can only connect it to a windows machine and only other windows machines can print from it, or connect it to a Mac, and only other Macs can use it - Again, Lame.
    Really I wanted to love the Mac OS. When I first got it, I was loving it. But what good is it if I can't print. I searched the web and it seems I'm not the only person having issues with printing.
    I hate this Intel Mac Mini with every fiber of my being. Ok, maybe my printing woes are only because it's a Intel chip, and the PPC macs are golden. But come on, if you can't print from a computer, what good is it?
    Please, someone help me. Otherwise, anybody want to buy a Intel dual core Mac Mini?

    You have two different issues: HP and Canon.
    I don't know if I believe the Canon people. Windows XP has lots of different print options. Try installing Bonjour on Windows and then setting up a networked, Color Apple Laserwriter PS printer using "http://macmini.local:631" (assuming macmini is the name of your Mac). I have done this before (though not on a Canon). I am sure Canon will only support a standard configuration and this is not quite standard. Give it a try. It doesn't sound like it can hurt anything in your current setup.
    For the HP, you might have to just wait for an updated driver from HP. HP has always had this problem. They are a huge printer company and I'm sure they get Apple hardware and OS versions before anybody else in the world. And yet, it seems as if they don't even begin working on their drivers until Apple officially releases a new OS. HP drivers are always the last to show up for a new OS and the first to break. If you get it working under MacOS 10.4.6, and then upgrade to 10.4.7, it is very likely that the HP drivers will stop working.
    Unlike some of the other big companies, HP seems to have made the transition from Classic MacOS to MacOS X seamlessly. Their printer driver software works just as well on MacOS X as it did under MacOS.

    My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now.  About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

    Adobe, so many threads on here - and discussions all over the web - about why is it so difficult to cancel a cloud subscription?
    I have been a subscriber for 3 years. My renewal date is end of March 2015. Why does your system send me around in a circle that provides no option to actually cancel? I'm directed to contact support even though the UK is not in the list of countries that require me to contact support.
    I'm serving notice that I wish to cancel according to my rights within the contract. I will not contacting support. I will not discuss this any further. I've spent too long already.

    As you are in the last month of your annual commitment you should have the option to cancel from within your account.  I will look into this issue and ensure your subscription is cancelled.

    Also, I can't send pictures via Dropbox any more. Two basic necessities that I just can't get to work.

    Microsoft didn't update Outlook to be Mavericks ready.
    I don't really use Dropbox, but if their software doesn't work like it used to, they didn't update it for Mavericks.

  • Adobe DPS HTML/Javascript/CSS Web Console: why it is so difficult?

    This is the type of question that i can not understand. Is it that difficult to make? Maybe an airpor to Google Chrome Adobe Edge Inspect? I have many files well written with CoffeeScript, that uses RequireJS, that is impossibile to forget a semicolon etc. that works like a charm on Google Chrome (desktop, AND Chrome iPad, AND Chrome Android). That works like a charm in the native iPad/iPhone web browser and in the native Android browser. But it didnt in Adobe DPS. And guess what: i cant find why it doesnt, because Adobe doesnt have a simple Web Console inside DPS / InDesign.
    Is there any news on this field? Because using Adobe Edge Inspect is not a option: my code works inside EI because im browsing the page with my desktop browser. I want to know what is going on inside DPS.
    And my code it is not "soooo" advanced. It is just a simple button with "on touchstart" event listener. Am i doing some stupid error? Fine! Just help me find out what it is, so i can fix it. Because in every single browser i tried, it works. But inside DPS. A sample code? Sure, here you go:

    The Javascript above is being generated by Node.JS compiling a CoffeeScript file. The buttons do work at DPS for iPad, but doesnt on Android. Maybe Android has a problem with 'touchstart'. Maybe jQuery has a problem inside Adobe DPS. But who knows? I dont have a decent web console inspector to check what is going on. Really frustrating.
    Maybe Apple and Google dont give the neccessary hooks to implement the web console? But if you can do the Inspector from the desktop to the device, why not from the device to the desktop? Am i missing something on Edge Inspect? The strange part is: the above code works well on Edge Inspect but doesnt work on Android DPS.
    Sorry if im a little angry or pissed. But this would be really great: a simple web inspector: HTML, Javascript, CSS. A way to inspect the <head> tag of the HTML, what was loaded, in what order. What script is missing, Javascript breakpoints, etc.

  • Why are shapes so difficult to use now?

    I cant see a single way shapes in CC are better.  All extra stages and annoyances, anyone have better workflow method to combat these new things?
    1. Cant duplicate easily.
    Before: select layer, cmd + j = duplicated
    Now: select layer, cmd + j = blank layer, nothing.
    Solution, select the pen, select the shape, select the layer, NOW duplicate.
    Am I doing it wrong? Because before you could just duplicate, now you have to have the shape selected and the layer. This is very frustrating adding extra clicking/selection to my workflow.
    If you right click a shape and duplicate, it works. So the shortcut of duplicate doesnt work the same?
    2. Pen Points are infuritating.
    Before: drag a box out to select multiple points on a shape.
    Now: drag a box out, selects every point in the entire document on every layer. How is this better than before?
    Solution, none really? If there is one I take it, its an extra click.
    3. A shape remembers the last point you click. Great so now everytime I click a shape I have to deselect that point, and usually try to do that using a drag box, which doesnt work.
    I just dont see how any extra workflow helps bring anything good to photoshop. What are the benefits to this new system?

    I have bought a Ipad 4 a week ago and find it is like wading though treacle to get my data loaded! Itunes seems very unintuitive and difficult to use. I managed to transfer my music and films over from my PC and started using them on the Ipad when suddenley they dissappeared! "No Content" so I had to go back and reload them all again. I still have not found a way to transfer and use my documents onto the Ipad. I have an Android tablet and that is so simple to use(and a liot less expensive to buy). Why can't I access the file system on the Ipad, this seems to be the heart of my problems. I am not inexeperienced with computers as I am a retired Computer Manager/Analyst/[programmer over 20 years.

    Hello, I would like to know why the price of my monthly student CC service payment has raised from 19.99€ to 30.74€. It has passed one year since I started with it, but I don't understand what's the point of raising the price now; currently the 19.99€ Student and Teacher service is again in offer time (19.99€), which means that I could cancel this payment and join the offer for another year.
    Could someone at Adobe correct my payment amount (make so it is 19.99€ again) if it's wrong? In other case I would consider cancelling this payment and taking the annual offer again before it ends, but I would find more reasonablem if that's possible, to mantain the old amount without the need of cancelling and getting the offer another time.

  • Why is it so difficult to CANCEL a subscription to AOLs cyber newspaper, "THE DAILY".  It appears to have been made very possible as a scam, so once you give them the automatic, weekly deduction to your credit card or bank account, it's non cancelable!

    BEWARE:  if you subscribe to AOL'S cyber newspaper (for 99¢ per week),you will have to give them authorization to charge your account weekly vain iTunes/apple account or credit card or bank account.  Once you do that you have a better chance having a long phone chat with Oboma about all the people now on welfare, than getting someone to at AOL or APPLE to cancel your subscription.  You will get routed all around and put on hold and finally referred to a forum where this has been REPEATEDLY asking ...and, per APPLE, answered.  In fact, when you follow the APPLE given link (a live person at APPLE sends you the link by email but can not tell you what to do on the phone) ... And you go to the link, you will find ...as I did and others commented they did too...that the link suggestions do not work to allow younto cancel The Daily!   At this point younwill have over an hour, perhaps 2 (as in my case) invested and STILL NOT HAVE IT CANCELLED.
    What incompetence by AOL and APPLE!   Or wait; do you really think this is made so complex, not by incompetence, but by design?
    You mean you think AOL ...once the got your account debit authorization working, the want to make it nearly impossible for you to stop them from continuing to "milk the cow"?   They do have a dubious, to put it politely, record onmcustomer care (reason theynlost literally millions of paying "AOL Members" starting about mid 1990's ...and then making AOL free before ALL their "members left".)

Onto your Aplle Account credit card or bank account, do you think the generally ethically run APPLE would participate in the AOL scam too?  Why can't or doesn't,t APPLEgive you a straight answer or take care of stopping the itunesnbilling for "The Daily"?  Thismismbad enoughmthat a forum has started on the question and APPLE refers youmto that NOT VERY HELPFUL, short, old forum discussion.
    Is there a conspiracy here ... A scam?   Or, is there some logical and reasonable explanation?   Absent a such a good explanation, this is class action lawsuit material ...to recover all the amounts deducted from customers who wanted to cancel but did not have the time and endurance to figure out how to cancel.

    Yoor post is very confusing. AOL's iPad magazine is called "Editions" and it's free. "The Daily" is put out by TheDailyHolding and is owned by Rupert Murdoch. You've already posted in another thread where the solution was given. Other people seem to have manged to get unsubscribed.
