Why is my Ipad telling me a message has been delivered but my Iphone is not?

I sent an Imessage. Both my Iphone and my Ipad are connected to my apple ID. When I send a message to one particular number, I get a delivered message at the bottom of the text on my Ipad, but my Iphone shows the message with nothing underneath it?
Is the message delivered or not? And why is are both devices telling me different things for the same message?

If I understand correctly you are seeing in Messages that your, well, messages are being sent, but the receiving party does not actually get them. I would recommend these troubleshooting steps from the following article:
iOS: Troubleshooting Messages
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, back up or forward important messages and delete your current messaging threads with the contact. Create a new message to the contact and try again.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, delete and recreate the contact in the Contacts app. Create a new message to the newly created contact and try again.

The receipt usually takes more time to receive. I got my receipt from about 7:00pm yesterday at about 10:00pm today.

For iOS the ipad version shows the folio that has been published, but the iPhone app is not.

I am responsible for handling the apps and not at all involved with or know how the folio creation process works.
When I build the app for iOS the iPad version shows the folio that has been published, but the iPhone app is not showing the folio.
Is this something related to the build process or how the folio was created?
The folio also shows up in the Android app (at least the phone I have tested with).

"Android and iOS viewers have different requirements for displaying folios. Any folio size you create can appear in an Android viewer. The articles are scaled and letterboxed as needed. However, on the iPad, the viewer displays only folios with a 4:3 aspect ratio. The iPhone viewer displays only folios with a 3:2 or 16:9 (1136x640) aspect ratio."

My iPad synchs my Outlook tasks via the iCloud, but my iPhone does not.

Hi Everyone,
I've updated my iPad and iPhone to iOS 5. I've also added the iCloud client to my Windows 7 machine running Outlook 2007.
New tasks that are added into Outlook synch via the iCloud to my iPad, like I would expect. They appear in a 'Tasks' list within the Reminders app itself.
However, on my iPhone which connects to the iCloud using the same Apple ID as my iPad, there are no Tasks! In fact, there isn't even an empty Tasks list (the tasks list was created on the iPad after the first synch).
If I create a new Reminder (not a task) on my iPad, that synchs accross between iPad and iPhone via the cloud. It simply seems the Tasks are only eligable for synching between Outlook and iPads... not iPhones?
Can anyone confirm this is expected behavior?

i youse Outlook and Iphone 3gs and i can sync and it would be displayed in the notification center.
But it would not displayed in the tasklist from outlook.

I was called from another i-phone and never received the call on my I-phone, texted also, from the same phone and never received the text, even though the sender sees a confirmation on the origin side saying 'message has been delivered.' Seriously, help!

Thank you. The troubleshooting guide online suggest resetting network settings and I did a restore to factory default. Since then I was able to receive another text message from the sender and it worked fine. He also left a voice mail message (several) and I'm not able to retrieve those either. Downloaded and synced films and tv shows should be in the Videos app (iTunes on the iPad is just the iTunes store). If they don't show in there then have you got a TV programme age rating set in Settings > General > Restrictions that is hiding them ?

Thanks. So there's no means of knowing whether a text message has been delivered, not to mention time of delivery. Perhaps I've gone for the wrong phone. It might do a lot but seems to miss out on some basics.

Have disabled in Messages > preferences on the Mac
imessage is disabled on my iphone
Same goes for Safari which pops up on the mac when I open it on my iphone, how can I disable it all?

Yeah, I've seen it from iOS 7 to the present. It appears to be a network issue, as the Mail app is trying to grab the information to display the first few lines in the abbreviated display. I haven't had mine freeze though. When I click on it, it will simply show a blank message. Now I can quit the app and later reload the app, and "sometimes" the contents come back right away. In other instances, not right away, but eventually.
You might try quitting all the apps, then going to the Settings app to Reset and reset your Network Settings. The iPad will reboot. Try it again after that.
