First off, I'm horrible with computers, so if anyone answers this could please use layman terms? Okay, so i put music from my flash drive onto itunes and when it was taking over 2 minutes for the drive to eject, I just yanked it out (I know, not the smartest thing to do). But then all my music disappeared. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling itunes but nothing happened. I then searched my music folders and found a file that was simply called itunes and had all my music in it. I copied and pasted it into itunes and all my music was back! Then I tried another flash drive with a couple songs on it and ejected it correctly this time.... but my music disappeared again. So i recopied and pasted the itunes music folder but I found that the music I tried to get from my flash drive wasn't on it.I tried to put music on from both flash drives again but the music got wiped again! I gave up on the flash drives and tired to fix itunes. In the control panel section where you can uninstall programs I clicked the repair option for itunes, hoping that would do something. It didn't. So by now, I've uninstalled then reinstalled itunes 3 or 4 times and can still get my music back from the itunes music folder but everytime I turn off or restert my computer the music goes all disappeary on me again. I have no Idea what is going on with itunes and I also can't sync my ipod. It isn't recognized by itunes and when I click on it in the devices section of the start menu, it shows a yellow triangle with an ! in it and when I left click it and select troubleshoot it says "Troubleshoot couldn't identify the problem". The ipod won't even charge when its plugged into the computer, it has to be plugged into a wallcharger. Please help!

Never mind, it somehow fixed itself. At least the itunes store did, but my ipod nano is still not able to sync.

Hello, I've been working at this for hours but have made little to no progress in fixing my issue.
So when I plug my ipod in via usb into my computer the autoplay starts and it connects as an iPod. I can see it when I open up "Computer" and everything seems to be running fine. I'm not getting any errors or anything.
However, the moment itunes starts up, whether it be manually started or starting automatically through the helper, my symbol for safely removing falls off of my screen and I can no longer see the ipod in "Computer". Though I may be able to see it in Printer and Devices.
I've already gone through several steps to try and fix it via support on this site. I've reinstalled itunes, I've gone into disk mode, I've reset the ipod, unplugged it and replugged it in. My last option is to restore to factory defaults. As much as I would love to do this to see if it works (as all my music is backed up on discs and my computer), I can't do so if it isn't showing in itunes due to the fact it can't detect the ipod or at least the kind of ipod. I've tried to find a 3rd party program that could do this but none of them offer the option. Note: The ipod itself works fine. I can listen to it and it'll charge just fine. It just won't recognize.
I'm running Windows 7 OS. iTunes is up-to-date.
If anyone knows how to fix it, the help would be greatly appreciated.

Why is my iPhone not being recognized by iPhoto?

My wife and I have iPhone 4S. When we hooked up (via USB) our iPhones to the Mac, it used to launch iPhoto and we would then upload/delete those pictures. Now that we are doing this wirelessly, it does not automatically launch iPhoto. Only problem is that when we launch iPhoto, it recognizes my phone but not hers.
How to get this changed so she can upload her pictures?

tried that: it only recognizes my phone. (this with her phone plugged into the computer, and my phone next to the computer).
This seems to be an iphoto issue: evry time we open iphoto, no matter who is trying to get their photos uploaded, it defaults to this page that asks if we want to upload MY photos from my phone. 48 photos. if you choose yes, it says there is an error, and that is where it goes back into this continuous loop... won't upload my photos, won't clear the errors. also tried to unhook my phone from iphoto - won't do it. we've tried rebooting as well.
just found out the other day my son tried to get his photos on the computer - same problem. it seems it's not so much that it won't recognize the other phones as it is that my phone is the ONLY phone it recognizes, and it seems to be stuck in this unbreakable loop of wanting to import these 48 photos...
any more ideas anyone?

ATI RX3850 not being recognized

Hello. I've been having some problems getting my comp to recognize my new ATI rx3850 graphics card. I am using a Dell Dimension C521 with a Dell 0YY821-A00 motherboard. I install the card in a PCI expressx16 slot, but when I open device manager and search the card I cannot find it. I previously used a NVIDIA 7 series card in the slot with no problems. I recently flashed the BIOS and looked at BIOS settings but I cannot figure out why the card is not being recognized. Could the card not be compatible? I would be thankful for any suggestions.

Which one exactly?
Dell PCs are cheap because they use cheap and nasty components. My guess is that the PSU isn't up to the job, you were probably lucky that your 7xxx card worked at all.

Print quality is terrible, it always has errors when I try to print, and I continuously have to go to my so-called wireless printer and hit the home button to wake it up! What good is having wireless if I have to go to it? I might as well plug in! Waste of money and can't afford to buy a different one But any answers would be greatly appreciated.

TS3850 I am using a Sony HBR -VLU camera to import into Final Cut 10. Plugging into an I MAc that doesn't have a firewire port. The camera is not being recognized by the computer. The camera is set to play tape too. Why is camera not recognized?

Apple has moved on from Firewire and the current iMacs (and most MBPs) have Thunderbolt, USB3 and USB2.
There are Firewire toThunderbolt adaptors. Here's one. You also want a four pin to nine pin FW cable to run from your camera to the adaptor.

I was able to see it a few days ago but now it will not connect, I need to check one of my drives which I am pretty sure needs to be replaced. amber light is on and when I checked it the other day it showed a degraded array and drive 2 was not being recognized. could the cables from the xserve to the raid be bad?

The XServe RAID uses the ethernet connection for all administration. Make sure the ethernet links are active and that you're in the same subnet (or at least somewhere the XServe RAID can route to).
Did you manually configure the network ports or leave them as DHCP?
If DHCP it's possible that the controller's IP address has changed, in which case you'll need to be on the same local subnet to locate the RAID.
