Why is my macbook pro running slow. It runs slow even if only one app is open, especially if it's a browser. I don't know how to read Etrecheck, but was hoping someone who does can help me out. Would be super grateful. :-)
Hi. This is my first time posting. My Macbook Pro with Os X Mavericks has been running super slow since before I installed Mavericks so I'm pretty sure it's not the OS that has the problem. It runs slow even if only one app is open, especially if it's a browser, particulary google chrome. If mail is open...forget about it, down to a crawl. I don't know how to read Etrecheck, but was hoping someone who does can help me out. Would be super grateful. :-)
P.S. - Also, it sounds like something is loose inside my mac. How should I proceed?

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try the action that you're having trouble with again. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.

Got it! Thanx. What I did was go to my account, check that they had my new ID and Password which they did, then hit reset button. All fixed. -
hello,i have a macbook pro and i just recently downloaded facetime, and now i cant use it, it says An internal FaceTime error occurred,i dont know how to fix it, please help.
If your webcam is powered by USB, make sure it is attached directly to your Mac and not a USB hub. In my case, I had my Rocketfish webcam attached to a peripheral USB hub and it wasn't drawing enough power to operate at capacity. Therefore, Facetime was quitting on me and giving me that exact error message. Once I attached the webcam directly to my Mac USB port, problem solved. Hope that helps.

That's not how unlocking an iPhone works.
The carrier the phone is locked to submits a request to Apple, wh updates their database. When that is complete, you restore the phone with iTunes to process the unlock. -

The Internet radio in iTunes works because you have an Internet connection.
Your iPod classic does not have an Internet connection. It's just a media player. Therefore, there is no way to put Internet radio on an iPod classic.
If you want to play regular (over the air) FM radio on your iPod classic, you can use the iPod radio remote control.

When I try to buy something, I get an Apple-ID which is not the one I want to use, and I don't know how to get rid of it either, so that I can replace it with my ID in Mail, contacts etc. The ID I get without wanting it, I can't find anywhere. My content was obtained through another ID, which popped up earlier. Now this one doesn't pop up, and my current ID doesn't pop up either, but another one. How do you find an ID which is not in the store, and not in Mail, contacts etc. either?

I have problem with Itunes losing where podcasts and some purchased music is located. Don't know how Itunes losing the locations of the files and I can't find the files on my hard drive. What can I do to stop Itunes losing location and restore my files?
Try assigning Queen as the Album Artist on the compilations in iTunes on your computer.

I have an iPad 2 and so does my mom. We both have the app Slotomania and now all of sudden after having it for months, our games connected and we don't know how to fix it. Deleting it and reinstalling does not work.
Does the app now use iCloud, do you use iCloud and do the two of you use the same account on iCloud?

I have had MSN for a long time, I know that I have an account for Adobe , I don't know how it got changed but when I attempt to install my Flash Player it will not allow to enter it on MSN. It keeps showing Google ! If I can't get the Adobe Flash Player I can't use my Computer . I am not sure how Google got on my Unit . I have attempted to have removed it without any success

Drap and drop the tones from iTunes onto the phone. Select the contact you wish you add the tone to. Click edit and select ringtone.
