Why is my text pixelated in Illustrator when I want to save it for web?
I added a grunge effect to this font. It scales up and down and fine, but when I preview it in the "save for web" option, it gets pixelated. I tried making it an object, but I got the same result. Shouldn't Illustrator be able to scale these without a problem?
This first is a screen shot of the text. Illustrator is open and zoomed in at around 600%
This second example is when I tried to save for web and zoom in around 600% again.

As I (mis)understand it, what you see is simply the pixels of the raster image.
If you Save for Web at the exact size that it is being used for, the pixels will match the use and it will look nice.
Any raster image looks pixelated when scaled up beyond its actual size.

Texting longer text messages or any media (pictures/video/sound etc) being sent requires data to be active. However, it does not count against your data caps.
Since you have an iPhone, you must also be aware of the difference between iMessage and SMS Text messages. The iPhone, by default, will send an iMessage when sending another text message to anyone else with an iPhone, iTouch, or iPad. This does use your data if you are not connected to wifi. In Settings, you can turn iMessage off, and then all of your texts will go through Verizon.
Also understand- iMessage will use wifi when connected to wifi, but would need cellular data connection to work when not connected to wifi. Regular SMS text messages that are long or any media will always use the cellular data and not wifi, so will not send if cellular data is turned off, even if on wifi. However, this does not count against your cap. -
Text file being overwrite when another info is save in he same text file
At first, the text file is use for saving user information but after that when i want to save more thing in the same text file, the user infomration is being overwite. How can prevent the original message from being overwite?
When you create the CFile/CNiFile object to write to the file, use the CFile::modeNoTruncate flag to indicate that you want to open the file as an existing file and that you don't want the file to be truncated to 0 length. For more information, see documentation for the CFile flags.

Update to the latest version of iTunes.
Verify the computer's date and time are accurate.

Follow Troubleshooting security software. Often, uninstalling third-party security software will resolve these errors.
An entry in your hosts file may be redirecting requests to gs.apple.com (see "Unable to contact the iOS software update server gs.apple.com" above).
Internet proxy settings can cause this issue. If you are using a proxy, try without using one.
Test restoring while connected to a known-good network. -

There are so many occasions on line when I want to save an image that I can't believe I can't do so using Firefox, which I find so good in all other ways. I can Bookmark, save a page or send a link, but not take a simple copy image.Hi, Many thanks for replying, it's much appreciated. I started Firefox in safe mode and found I had the full right click menu on a pic on my home page. However, after moving around the web, I've found that the problem still occurs in eBay and it doesn't make any difference in safe mode. still no full menu. After returning to normal mode, I find that this still stands i.e. I do get the full menu on other sites but not in eBay. As I often want to save a pic in Ebay and can do so in IE, I'm baffled as to why this one site is giving problems. As this is where I've mostly been trying to save pics, I didn't realise that it was a "one site" problem and not applicable to everywhere else. If IE didn't work in this respect, I could blame the eBay site, but it does, so that just makes it more puzzling - and very annoying! Set Adobe Acrobat XI Pro. When I want to save the file in WORD, EXCEL or esporta file into ... immediately throws an error "save as failed to process this document no file was created".

Thank you,Installed AcrobatXI PRO 11.0.09 on seven computers and laptops. Two of them gives an error when you try to save a document in WORD, EXCEL, Power Point, or when exporting to... error: Save failed to process this document. No File was created.
But all good saves in the format of TXT and jpg.
I have uninstalled and restored and re-installed and updated and registry cleaned and removed using the special utility Cleaner Tool for Acrobat, but nothing helps.
On one notebook with Windows 8.1 and Microsoft office 2013, on another laptop with Windows 7 and Microsoft office 2010, the same problem, although there are computers with Windows 7 and Microsoft office 2010 and everything works.
Tell me where to find the problem and how to solve it.

Statechart module: crashes when I want to save state
I am using the LV Statechart Module (version 8.6.0). LabVIEW crashes when I want to save a state (by clicking "OK" on the state dialog). The crash does only occur if I have some member VIs of a quite large class hierarchy in the state. It does not occur if I for example just wire through the simple error cluster that is part of my state data cluster.
Does anyone have an idea how I could avoid this problem?
The LabVIEW failure log file is attached.

lvlog07-08-09-18-04-09.txt 2 KBLooking at this quickly, I do not know the core root cause, but I am guessing that you could work around it by putting your guard or action code into a subVI and using that subVI instead of placing the code directly in the guard/action. Something appears to be going wrong as we try to commit the guard/action VI you created for the state - I am guessing there is a bug in this process as it encounters some of the class stuff you are using, and using a subVI to wrap it will avoid this.
Any chance you can provide the files needed to reproduce this (either here or privately if you prefer). The stack tells me a little bit but we'll have a much better chance of resolving this fully in a future release if we can reproduce it here.

Why does some text convert to outlines when opening a PDF in AI?
I often have to open PDFs saved from InDesign CS5 in Illustrator CS5 (Mac). These PDFS are saved from InDesign using Press or PDFX1-a settings.
When I open them in AI, I get the warning that "to preserve appearance, some text has been outlined".
Of course, I do not want this to happen.
The text that gets outlined is nothing special. It is seemingly at random within a paragraph or within a cell of a table. In the screen shot below, live text has the blue underline; outlined text does not.
I can see no rationale for it. There is no transparency involved. Just black text on no background. There is no special "appearance" that needs to be preserved. Fonts are all Adobe OTF (Myriad Pro shown below).
Can anyone explain why this happens?PDFs are not supposed to be edited as a rule.
Lots of odd things can happen to text (but also other objects) when you open a PDF - that is not a pdf with the editable Illustrator file saved within it - and try to edit it.
Illustrator is not a general purpose editor of pdf files.
PDF files are supposed to be an end-format, not a format that you edit.
What happens to text in a pdf when opened in Illustrator is perfectly normal. There isn't really much you can do about it except recreate the text in Illustrator from scratch, with the desired font, and re-export to the pdf-version you need. -
Why are date and time strings lost when indexing an array in a for loop

I have an application where i'm reformatting data from a spreadsheet for graphical display on a LabVIEW dashboard.
the original spreadsheet has date and time values in separate columns, and i'm merging them and converting to a timestamp value. But something's not working. Does anyone know why the string value is lost when the array indexes into this for loop?

How many times does the FOR loop run? Could it be that the last element of each 1D array is an empty string? (unless you put a wait inside the FOR loop, you'll never see the other elements in the probe)
