Why is the CTRL+F Fullscreen Option Disabled?

View - > Full Screen seems to be disabled. Does this happen to anyone else? Is there a way this can be fixed?
I have 3 monitors. I usually use fullscreen if I just want to hear tunes while doing something away from my computer. So, by doing this, it cancels my screensaver and blacks out my additional monitors except for the one that displays the albums. Now, that feature is disabled for some reason.

Native sequencing should be configurable for the SQL Server platform. I have filed a bug to track this.
The easiest workaround is to select a different database platform (i.e. Oracle) and then enable native sequencing. You should then set it back to SQL Server. In my quick test it kept the native sequencing configuration even though it shows as disabled.

I am trying Toplink with SQL Server and I have some identity fields... I see in the documentation that I should select the "Use Native Sequencing" option in the mapping properties(Database Info tab) but it is disabled(I use JDeveloper 10.1.2.1.0). Is there any reason for this ?

Why did the recent iOS 6 update disable our ability to control the volume in FaceTime?

So my girlfriend and I spend a lot of time using facetime everyday. We normally use headphones or earbuds because she wants privacy to speak with me. The recent update in facetime has been permanently set so the volume in facetime is loud.. So now it hurts our ears to use headphones. Why was disabling a great feature such as turning the volume down taken away? Is there away to downgrade to a previous iOS update?

I am having this issue as well. I'd prefer for my conversations to be more private. Also, the noise gate is far too sensitive, I can see my friends lips move, they are speaking at a reasonable level, but their words are cut off because they are below the threshold which Apple has set. I'd honestly prefer to hear backgound noise.
As far as the volume control issue, this is just silly. Why is it that Apple should be the dictator of what is an acceptible volume level for conversations? I'm not going to wear headphones every time I use facetime (anyways, I did try it once and the volume was absolutely too loud. No, I'm not going to buy new headphones with volume control, just for facetime).

Why is the SSL Certificate "Edit" button disabled in Server Settings?

I just setup my Lion server and am attempting to create a self-signed certificate. All of the directions start with "Run the Server app, go to your server, click the setting tabs, and push the 'Edit' button next to SSL Certificate". Well, I can't because the button is disabled.
I have two theories. The first is that my network setup is messed up somehow. My server name is "server.mydomain.private". When I click on Configure Network, it shows that name and the proper IP address.
My second theory is that the SSL Certificate requires some other service, maybe Open Directory.
Anyway, I'm stumped. Any suggestions are welcome.

venblr, I saw that one too, tried it, but it didn't work. I think I deleted a certificate or something, which caused the problem in the first place. I'm going to finish reading some Lion Server books before starting from scratch by reinstalling Lion and then LIon Server. (I have a screen snap of earlier work and it shows the SSL Certificate "Edit" button enabled.)

Why was the "new tab" button option removed from the "customize toolbar" set?

Back in 3.x and older I was able to place a "open new window" button, and an "open new tab" button on the bookmarks toolbar. This worked well for me. Now with 4, the "open new tab" is unavailable, and you can only open a new tab using the default button right next to your already open tabs.
Any chance of that open new tab button coming back? I'd rather use that (what I am used to) than the new one.
They're called options, stop removing them.

You can find the New Tab button showing as a '+' on the Tab bar.<br />
You can open the Customize window and drag the New Tab button from the Tab bar on another toolbar and it will become a regular toolbar button like the New Tab button that you have in Firefox 3 versions.<br />
If you want the New Tab button at the far right end of the Tab bar then place a flexible to the left of it.<br />
Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"

Why is the "Move to Library" option unavailable in iMovie 10.0.6?

I would like to move an iMovie 10.0.6 project to my external drive, but the "Move to Library" and "Copy to Library" options are unavailable. I have an older mac with a (most likely) slowish hard drive. Could this have anything to do with it?

Normally I do that by drag & drop. But of course be sure that you have two different iMovie libraries e.g. an internal HD drive one and an external one then just select the event/project and drag and drop.
In case Apple reads this WHAT IS A REAL **** in iMovie10.0.6. that ALL events and projects are in one BIG e.g. TB file (in my case 3TB) if I now want to make a simple backup this lasts HOURS JUST BECAUSE OF A NEW SIMPLE ADDED EVENT/PROJECT. Why did the Touch ID settings options disappear after updating to 7.1.2?

I just updated to 7.1.2 about an hour ago and when I just tried to unlock my iPhone 5s, it wouldn't respond with anything with my fingerprint. Went into the settings to see if the update had messed with settings, and discovered that the setting option was GONE. I'm going to try a restore and see if it helps. I'll let you all know. This is frustrating.

Well the restore didn't work. Now I have a purple-ish tint in the upper left hand corner of my screen and white blocks at the bottom. Gonna go to the Apple store soon.

Using the Android Reader app, why is the signature option greyed out?

I have a client that has enlisted me to create 3 fillable PDF forms. I used FormsCentral to create these fillable forms, then I saved them as PDFs to my Dropbox. I opened the Adobe Reader app on my Tablet, and access the forms. As for the client, they are home builders, and these 3 forms are 3 different stages of the building process. They are using them to interact with the new homeowner. They want to do this on Samsung Note 10.1 tablets with Verizon data. There are 3 issues I am faced with fixing:
1. The signing process is quite a process. Meaning too many clicks to setup and apply a digital signature according to the customer. And that is on a PC, because I am unable to use the "signature" function - the button is greyed out. Why is that?
2. Once we resolve the above issue, then will there be a way to "lock" the form so that the customer's responses and selections are unchangeable? If so, how?
3. Once the form is signed and "locked" (if possible), what is the simplest way to send the form via e-mail? I ask because they want there to be a way to setup the form to e-mail copies to the addresses that are entered into an e-mail field on the form. Sort of "auto-populate" the addresses as well as be able to set a predetermined address (back to their office) so that the results may be sent via mobile instantly upon completion.
I know that is a lot to ask. Your help would be most appreciated!

(1) Why is the Signature button greyed out (disabled)?
You used FormsCentral to create fillable forms and exported to PDF. When exporting FormsCentral forms to PDF forms, FormsCentral adds "extended rights" to PDF forms so that users can fill out the PDF forms in Adobe Reader (which is a PDF viewer, not a PDF editor).
The current version (11.5.0) of Adobe Reader for Android does not allow signatures to be added to any "Reader Extended" PDF documents (including forms). We are actively investigating and trying to resolve the problem.
(2) Is there a way to "lock" a PDF form?
You can "flatten" a PDF form after the form has been filled out and signed by a customer. Once flattened, it's not possible to change filled data or signatures. When you try to email a filled PDF form (optionally with a signature), Adobe Reader for iOS will present the E-mail Document dialog with two options: "Send Original Document" and "Send Flattened Copy". You can choose the "Send Flattened Copy" option.
Unfortunately, the feature has not been supported in Adobe Reader for Android yet.
(3) What is the easiest way to send a "flattened" copy via email?
Because the issues 1 & 2 above have not been resolved, you are not able to do this in Adobe Reader for Android. However, you can do this in Adobe Reader for iOS.
First, you need to add a Submit button to your PDF form. I am not sure if you can do this in FormsCentral. But you can use Adobe Acrobat (a paid product) to add a Submit button.
Setting action buttons > Add a submit button
When your customer taps the Submit button in the PDF form, Adobe Reader (for iOS - for now) will present thee same E-mail Document dialog. Once the "Send Flattened Copy" option is selected, Reader will launch the default Mail app and auto-populate email address(es) specified for the Submit button action.

Why is the font of text fields different from document-text

I am using forms in my pdf.
I am inserting Text-Fields in the pdf-form.
I set the color and size of text as the same as the document text as calibri 9.
1) Why is the font different between the text-field and document content eventhough both are black font of size 9 and of type calibri. The font in the text-field is more gray and blurry. It doesnt look the same as the text in the rest of the document.
2) why do the document-text font options differ from the text-field font options.
One has only sizes with even numbers like 8, 10, 12. The other has odd numbers also. Why does the calibri font have 2 different size ranges for the text-fields and document-text/content.

Where do i report this then if it is not with the SDK but the manual setting of properties.
Also, how do i alter this ussue with the SDK, what are the commands, does it have to be done only by Javascript?

Why do I need to press the CTRL-button to view my extra options in the tool panel?

strange!
all of the sudden, I don't get my extra tools in the tool bar (left) when I hit the black traingle in the right bottom corner.
It appears to be the same problem in ALL my CS4 programs.
I thought there was a conflict with my system OS X 10.6.2.
but after searching for days, I see that the extra options in the fly out menu become visible when I hold the CTRL-button and click on the black traingle.
any idea what has happened here?

but I didn't need to do that in the recent past!
when I simply clicked on the triangle, all the other options become visible. now, when I only click, nothing becomes visible!
now I need to click using the CTRL-button at the same time.
what has changed here?
I phoned my collegue. he doesn't need to use the ctrl-button either...

On my MacBook Pro with Retina Display, Why does the "USB Devices Disabled Unplug the device using too much power to re-enable USB devices" keep coming up after I unplugged the usb device?

On my MacBook Pro with Retina Display 15", that I purchased a few weeks ago, started coming up with the following message on my desktop:
"USB Devices Disabled Unplug the device using too much power to re-enable USB devices".
I unplugged the device and the message still keeps coming up.
This is what I have done so far to troubleshoot:
I shut down the laptop. When booting up I pressed the command+option+p+r at the same time. It comes up with a menu to reinstall OSX, Get help online, Run Disk Utility, etc. I choose the disk utility and repair the disk and then restarted.
The message keeps popping up and I can't seem to get rid of it. Why does the message keep popping up even though I don't have any devices hooked up to the laptop at all? Any help to reenable my usb ports and get rid of the messaage would be helpful.

I talked to Apple Support and we at least stopped the bleeding, a little bit. These are the troubleshooting steps I did before I contacted Apple Support:
1. Reinstalled OSX
2. Restore the last known good Time Machine Backup.
This did not fix my issue, so I called Apple Support and they told me this:
1. Turn Power off.
2. Wait 15 seconds.
3. Plug in Magsafe adapter.
4. Wait 15 seconds.
5. Hold down the Shift+Option+Power Button for 20-30 seconds.
6. Turn Power back on.
Ok, this stopped the bleeding a little, but as soon as I plugged in a Apple USB Superdrive
and a Apple Mini Displayport to VGA Adapter. This "USB Devices Disabled" pop-up pops up like every 30 minutes now. At least, it is not constantly popping up after I close it, so I guess it will do for the temporary. Going to contact Apple support, later, though to see what else can be done.
