Why is the sound on my Envy not working? Checked all volume levels, mute, settings etc.

This error is generally specific to Internet Explorer and has two possible causes. The most likely explanation is that your browser has unusual browser security settings. I would recommend you try
resetting your security settings to defaults (varies by version but all essentially the same). You may also have to turn off
Protected Mode which is enabled by default on some systems. If you’re seeing this error (or a version of it) outside Internet Explorer, you may have a server-level setting that is preventing your content from being framed.

You should ask the developers why they have not updated their application.

There are a few things you can try. The first is to simply reset the Shuffle as it may be the cause of the issue.
Resetting iPod shuffle
Otherwise, also make sure that the earbuds are plugged all the way in and that the white part of the headset is flush with the body of the Shuffle.
If possible, use another set of earbuds to see if they work okay. If they do, we know its the headset that is the problem and from there you'll need to take the necessary steps to replace them.

I have several files on my desktop. When I try to move them o a new location, they just 'snap back' to their original position. Why doesn't the drag and drop feature not function properly?

Why do the regular links in template not work on announcement pages?

I am trying to figure out why the regular links (buttons) on top in my template does not work on the announcement pages on my business catalyst website. The links work perfectly fine on the other pages, but when you click on one of the latest news links to the right to read it, it leads you to a page with a url-prefix called announcements, and when you try to get back to one of the other pages by clicking on the buttons at the top for example the register button, it takes you to: http://www.littlefolkies.com/announcements/register instead of http://www.littlefolkies.com/register, and so it gives you a error message: page not found...???
Is there anyone who can help me out? I don't understand why this is happening.

Take a look at your classes link.
You can see how you have the / in front and the others do not. This is why.
This tells BC to read from the site root. Without it when your inside sub folders (other levels in your url) then it will link to only within that level without the / at the front.
It is the same reason why you do all your templates and css etc with the / in front which I mentioned to you before if I recall.
You can also change the name /announcements in the url in the settings for it if you want to.

The sound's wheel is not working in my laptop

I just installed Arch.
I followed the Beginner's Guide. Installed ALSA, etc.
I downloaded Amarok, but when I'm listening to music, and I scroll the wheel that regulates the music in my laptop, it does not work.
I must do any additional thing?

I don't know XFCE so i can't say you how to set shortcuts, but you can use this method to configure the wheel.
First of all open xev. On the square move left/right your wheel and take note of buttons number, then you could install xbindkeys from extra then edit/create .xbindkeys file in your home.
I.E
# Volume Decrease
"amixer -c 0 sset Master 1- unmute cap"
c: ### write here the code recived from Xev
# Volume Increase'
"amixer -c 0 sset Master 1+ unmute cap"
c: ### write here the code recived from Xev
now run xbinkeys. To set permanently put xbindkeys in autostart

Why does the visited link color change not work on some pages. this has only occurred in the past few weeks. 2 different computers Win 7 home pm Firefox 29

On some sites the visited link color does not change. I have checked all settings and they have not changed. I can make the problem change by unchecking the "allow pages to choose thier own colors" box , but the some pages do not display correctly. Things worked fine up to a few weeks ago. I feel it may be a glitch in firefox 29.

Can you try to start Firefox in Safe Mode to see if Firefox works properly with no error? You can start Firefox in Safe Mode below:

If Firefox opens up fine with no problems, it's probably one of your extensions that's causing the issue. You can re-enable your add-ons one by one until you find the one that causes the issue upon being re-enabled.

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button

*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":

Why does the power button intermittently fault -- Not work to wake up the phone?

Iphone 4 occassionally won't respond to the power/sleep button. Isn't stuck -- works normally much of the time, but occassionally acts as though the battery is dead. Have to plug into a power source to activate phone. Battery will show same charge it had before it went into sleep mode. Can be near fully charged and proceed working for the rest of the day just fine.
Button does not stick or seem faulty in any way. But, when you least need it to not work - such as in travel - or for emergences and have not power source to get to -- is bad. An unreliable phone for a doctor is not good. I have presented the problem to a few repair shops who are either not familiar with this behavior or suggest that is may be software rather than hardware. Something miss reading the battery to the phone indicating that the battery is dead when in fact it is not. Had the phone restored at the Apple store and this did not solve the problem.
It seems I did run across a blog that this occurred with some IOS update?
Would be grateful for advice.

I have not tryed it my self but it may work..
There are a simular trick to get the home button to work, here it is.
Open a default iOS application, such as Stocks, Calculator, or Weather
Press and hold down the Power button until the “Slide to Power Off” dialog appears, then release
Now press and hold the Home button until the “Slide to Power Off” screen disappears, quitting the application.

Why does the logic pro 9 upgrade not work on OS X 10.8.4 ?

Just decided to upgrade to logic 9 from my 8 (an upgrade from 6!) but I also have Protools on my computer (dont hate). Tools 11 needs 10.8.4 but the logic 9 update refuses to work with 10.8.4 ...BTW pro 8 is still working well on my system, but 9 has some additional cool featurs etc
Additionally an upate to Logic X loses all my 32bit plugins so...I am staying with 8/9 for a while ..any help to get 9 functional??

It is the installer that's quitting, or Logic Pro when you try to launch it? If the latter, download all the available updates, either through Software Update or the standalone downloaders;

Why is the "Show Item Info" feature not working on 10.6.8 Snow Leopard?

Under the Show View Options menu in Finder, I have repeatedly attempted to get the "Show Item Info" feature to work. Yet instead of the item info, it just adds some transparent spacing where the file info is supposed to be. The "Show Item Info feature is checked, so what's going on?

I was talking about the feature that displays how many files are in a folder and the dimensions of a picture.

Try the following.
First, download the Flash uninstall utility on the link below and save it to your Desktop.
Flash Player Uninstaller.
When the download has completed, close all browser windows and run the uninstaller. After this has completed, restart the notebook.
Next, ( unless you already have it ), download and install Firefox and then using Firefox, download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash. Note: You may want to deselect the option to include McAfee Security Scan Plus before downloading.
Close all browser windows before running the Flash installer.
Launch Firefox and see if the videos play Ok in this browser - if they do, close Firefox, open Internet Explorer and click on the same Adobe Flash link above to get a prompt to install the ActiveX component. When done, restart Internet Explorer.

Why is the Up to date program not working correctly and letting me download Lion when I have a qualifying system?

The Apple online store doesn't seem to recognize my serial number or says it is not correct? What is going on with this???

Well I finally figured out why my serial wasn't working. Apparently it was because my system was customised as opposed to off the rack, not sure why this should be a problem though.
Anyway, I used the old paper and fax method and have received confirmation that it is on it's way. If you haven't received confirmation I'd recommend chasing Apple to find out where it is.
