Why is there a message saying I'm out of RAM when I try to save a file to my computer, when I know I am not out of memory?

I am on a Macbook 13' on OS X 10.9.2 running Photoshop CS5.1. I know I am not out of memory because I have just been through it with an Apple advisor. I was trying to save a PDF as a JPEG on my desktop. Restarted, still saying the same thing.
Any ideas?

What are the Performance Preferences (screenshot please)?
What are the image dimensions?

I was trying to upload from my iPad to my pc.
That was hard for us to guess, from your post It might have helped to mention the iPad.
How are you trying to save the song to your PC? Are you sending the song to iTunes? If yes, as a project or as an audio file? Make sure, you select "AAC" and not "GarageBand", when you share the song from your iPad.

TS1702 the recorder app in my iphone5 shows the files but won't play them. I also cannot transfer them to my computer. The file list shows up under file sharing in itunes but when I try to save the file it says it's not there. Help. Everything is updated.

Back up first (Time machine) as much as possible.
Un-install and re install Itunes.
First and foremost download the updated iTunes from apple website. After downloading Uninstall itunes and all its component ( Dont worry, itunes library where your movies and music is located will not be deleted. Please follow instructions on the apple support page). The problem might be the AppleMobileDevice.kext

The new iTunes has a somewhat different look from the previous version. You can get the old look back if you prefer it by doing View > Show Sidebar in iTunes. Or you can adapt to the new look.

Why is Firefox replacing 'space' with '%20' when I try to save a file?

Alright so when I try to save a file from at least two websites, Firefox is converting the spaces in the file name to '%20'. So for example, instead of 'Firefox rules.doc' it's 'Firefox%20rules.doc'.
This is NOT a html error, Internet Explorer doesn't have these problems on the exact same websites, and it's only a recent occurance for Firefox.
EDIT: Have tried re-installing Firefox; diabling add-ons; diabling plugins; updating plug-ins; creating a new profile.

Are you left-clicking the link when that happens or do you use "Save Link as" the right-click context menu?
Does it also happen if you hold down the Alt key and left-click?

CS5 - when I try to save a file I am getting not enough RAM message

I have 120 GB disc space available and have located 1600 MB
for CS5, this is more then recommended space. What am I doing wrong?

Macs have been through several stages where everything has been made incompatible (e.g., the transition from OS9 to OSX, the transition from/to various processors - the latest being Intel).
You will find that the current state of the art in computing is stacked up every which way to cost you money. That's life. If you want to play you'll have to pay. And while you can actually buy high quality PCs that cost more than Macs, the latter is generally considered a more expensive path to follow.
A system with 2 GB of RAM is small by modern standards, ESPECIALLY for Photoshop. You'll have to come to grips with this sooner or later.

• Free Space on Your Start-Up (Mac OS) Hard Disk - How much ?
• Brand of DVD used ?
• Type of DVD used ?
• Video-Codec, photo file format and Audio file formats used ?
There is so much that can go wrong - so we need a lose end to start to unwind the problem.

I think I found out how to solve this - I turned off iCloud documents and data, and now I can save and don't get the "can't open untitled.page" and am now able to properly save!

Turned airplane mode on, off, and tried again
Verified that the iPad DOES have network access by browsing the web with Safari (not using 3G/4G, wifi only)

To see how much disk space is available ...
Click your Apple menu  top left in your screen. From the drop down menu click About This Mac > More Info > Storage
Make sure there's at least 15% free disk space.
Photos, video, documents, etc. all require disk space.

Keep getting "loading/waiting" message when I try to download or update anything on my iPad. I have tried signing out and in. Turning iPad off and on, left it off overnight, and spoken with iPad support, nothing. Any help out there?

I have did the sleep button and home button thing, no help. I have talked to iPad support and so far, no help. Any ideas out there?

If there are multiple apps trying to download at once, only one can download at a time and the rest say "Waiting" until it is then their turn. Try this. Double tap the icon of the Waiting app, and it should resume the download.
If that doesn't work:
• Log out of your iTunes store account. Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out Then press the Home button.
• Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.
• After restart, the Waiting should be gone.

Thanks Don-yes i'm using the correct apple id and yes I've plugged the phone into the computer-that's the problem, my computer doesn't recognise my phone anymore altho it comes up in iTunes library it won't sync anymore

You might want to try asking on the MS Office Outlook forum - http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/mac/forum/macoutlook - since those are Outlook files.
Also note which method you're using to create a backup.
