This has been happening for several months now.
It used to work correctly.
For example:
I burnt a photo file of 25 pictures from my iphoto collection.
When I went to the store to print them, the computer indicated there were 155 photos on it.
All were cropped versions of my 25 pictures.
Weird.
Then when I only burnt 6 pictures today onto a cd, I took the disc to a Print Shop.
Sure enough, the disc had other data and files associated with photos on it.
Yes, my 6 were on it, but the Print Shop had to spend extra time searching for them.

For what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices.
That all works.
It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now. They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.

Apple 10.7 lion - macbook does not turn off when plugged in. I put the laptop on "sleep" or close the screen and the computer stays on and stays hot! I figured it out! I don't fully understand why, but when I uninstall ESPOINAGE 2 from my laptop, sleep works fine now.. Weird!

I am being asked to provide my billing info for updating free apps... This has never happened before. I don't have a credit card so is there anyway around this??
The only way is to create an Apple ID without a credit card. The one you currently created will not work, it has to be a new one, and use this support document to do it. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2534 Make sure you follow the directions exactly.

Is there a way to view/recover messages from months ago in a thread that has been ongoing? The messages are not deleted. If i just keep "loading new messages" a) it will take all day, I've tried, and b) it freezes on me.

Yes, I am still having problems. I tried to load in the online site for my bank, Navy Federal Credit Union. I got the old "server not found" BS. I did as you suggested and executed a SHIFTED Reload and that worked, at least in the since that I was able to get the opening page.
However, when I went to sign on, the trouble appeared. Similar to the failed logons and recycling sign ons that I had seen on Yahoo and a few other sites, WHEN I logged onto NFCU's page (they have an unusual three part logon), as soon as I sign on I am IMMEDIATELY told I have "timed out" on the session and am kicked off. Repeated attempts to access my account yields the same thing over and over. I tried to sign on using Internet Explorer and there was NO PROBLEM AT ALL, so the issue is specific to FF.
I then flushed the cache and retied; no luck. I tried SAFE MODE and again no luck. I then went in a flushed the cache, again, and deleted all associated cookies. Again no luck.
Then I flushed the cache, reset ALL the preferences and tried again, still no luck.
As it stands now, I have reset the USERAGENT entries, flushed the cache, reset the preferences and, removed the cookies and still, EVEN in SAFE mode, Firefox and NFCU can't get along. Neither can Yahoo.com!
So, after all that,I am at my wits end. Suggestions? Should I send you a refreshed copy of my troubleshooting dump?
Keep in mine that I have, up until 9.0.1 came out, been using FF to aces s all these sites without any problems. So I guess the question has to be: Exactly what was changed in 9.0.1 from the previous version that has made it act this way?
Ideas? Suggestions? Fixing this has become a full time job!

Sorry you are having problems. I am not sure why you decided to blame Firerfox for this problem.
If you pay for and install RealPlayer why do you blame Firefox when you need to uninstall it to play video ? Why not blame RealPlayer, FlashPlayer, or even another browser!
This is a known issue and developers from Firefox, Flash and Realplayer have been involved with this for a few weeks. There have been a few changes in that time but no full solution that suits everyone is available, or likely in the immediate future AFAIK.
I suspect your problem is due to the fact that FlashPlayer 11.3 introduced a security feature known as ''protected mode''. (Flash 11.3 may also have other issues with Firefox) RealPlayer (certainly the versions current when Flash11.3 was released) has problems with this. Real player is or was causing problems with use of Flash to view videos on Firefox with Flash 11.3.
Note FlashPlayer will be installed on the Operating System as a plugin, and may be used by more than one browser (although it needs different software for IE).
Downgrade Flash to 10.3 then if you still have problems post back, confirm the Flash Player version you have now,and the RealPlayer version.
Note
* if you use the Adobe uninstaller you may need to reinstall FlashPlayer on IE
* take care not to follow advice from plugincheck FlashPlayer etc to upgrade to the latest version, until this issue is resolved.
* this is a temporary solution, you should upgrade again once this is resolved. -
So since I did the update on my phone, it rarely accepts picture messages. Usually the icon will show there is a message there (mine is up to 4 now), however it doesn't come through and I can't access it. I have tried a soft reset and simply restarting my phone, but it isn't working.

Just so I'm clear, you do not receive picture messages at all? You see the message notification but when you check there is no message?
You mentioned this started after the software update. Try removing the SIM card and powering off the phone for a minute. Insert the SIM card and power the phone on. Test, by sending yourself a picture message and see if you receive it. Then have someone else send you a picture message and see if you receive it. Keep me posted.

I just got an upgraded hard drive for my laptop about a week ago and I have nothing but Windows 7 and Adobe on it along with an AntiVirus program. It was performing very fast and then 3 days ago my internet programs started running really slow and stalling/freezing. Is there anything I can do?
yeah i've had the same problem with screen freezing. takes a while for it to come back also. says it's not responding.

Firefox was working perfectly before I installed the new update. Now every time I turn off my computer and the next time I open it up...Firefox has to be installed on my computer.,...trouble with that is it says I have to close the program first, it never opened so I have to restart my computer and immediately download Foxfire,
Firefox 4 saves the previous session automatically, so there is no longer need for the dialog asking if you want to save the current session.<br />
You can use "Firefox > History > Restore Previous Session" to get the previous session at any time.<br />
There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default <b>about:home</b> Home page.<br />
Another possibility is to use:

Make sure that you do not use [[Clear Recent History]] to clear the 'Browsing History' when you close Firefox. -
