Why isnt Sony including IR in its Smartphones like Samsung?

I really like the build quality of the Sony Smartphones...
What really bothers me is that phones that cost less have features like IR, Fingerprint sensor...etc...
Why isnt Sony including these? It is very disappointing to see such good phones without these nice features.....
Please please include them in your future phones...

Sounds like you have the Sync all music box selecte on the Music Profile tab.
Manual sync only means that iTunes will not automatically start syncing when you hook the device up to it. However, when you click on the Sync (or Apply) button, it uses the profile you have set up to determine what to sync.
Hook up your device to the computer where your iTunes library is, and select the device when it displays.
To the right, you will see the Profile screens. Click on the Music one. Set it up to sync the specific music you wish. Once you have completed setting it up, click Sync (or Apply) and it will update your device with only the music you have selected.

I had to restore my iphone 5 from an icloud backup from a week ago. everything restored fine, but it only brought back my imessages up to the backup date (a week ago); but all the messages up to today are on my mac messages app on my macbook air; how can i get them all back on my phone? why isnt it syncing from icloud automatically if its still available on my mac? iCloud doesn't sync iMessages. They are sent from the iMessage server to your devices, not synced between devices. I don't think you'll be able to get these messages back on your phone, but you should be receiving any new messages.

I personally didn't play with swing components when they were in the com.sun.java.swing state, but I have a strong feeling it is very buggy and could be causing your problem.
Before posting gui issues, please use a newer API, even jdk1.1 would be fine, anything would be better than what your using.

About a week ago (today is december 28, 2005), i connected my ipod like I ususally do, but no light came on, and no itunes appeared. So i decided to take it out and put it back in. Nothing happened. I tried to use a different USB port, and nothing happened. I did all of the 5 R's a NUMEROUS amount of times, and nothing happened. I then upgraded it, and nothing happened! I got so furstrated that i uninstalled ipod and itunes altogether, waited a few hours, and then installed it again (with the CD-ROM that came with my ipod). IT STILL DID NOT WORK. So i then decided to buy a USB 2.0 4-Port Hub thinking that it would make my shuffle work.... and i still got nothing. I then decided to install itunes on ANOTHER one of my computers (which was recently updated to windos xp) and nothing worked (i also used my USB 2.0 4-port hub on that too).
I dont get it, my iPod shuffle plays all my music correctly and in the right order, but when i connect it to my windows xp, it doesnt work. the light doesnt come on or anything. and it seems like my computer doesnt detect it. It worked fine before, so why not now???? Can Someone Please Help Me!! im really kind of attached to my iPod and soon i wont be able to play it anymore (the battery will soon run dead, its already orange!)... I really want to/ need to fix it, I mean, it cost me $99! IM STUCK! HELP PLEASE!

Oh den.thed... I saw your post this morning and I was so excited.... ran to the Mac and got to Energy Saver, and... the checkbox is already unchecked.
Long story, I'll make it short. Just got the Mac back after having the HDD replaced. (It stopped working after less than 500 hours.) This rebooting thing has been happening ever since I got the computer in 2010, and I was hoping it would coincidentally stop happening after having this crashed HDD replaced last week. No such luck. Still doing it, even after getting the computer back from Apple. Two of my kids have macbooks, have used the cr*p out of them, and have had very few problems (nothing big). I bought this Mac, to replace a dead Dell desktop that got very little use, and so far I am not sure I did the right thing. Really wish I could get this "automatic" rebooting thing fixed. (Reboots with no notice, while doing normal tasks - internet, word docs, etc.) Thanks again for your help. Let me know if I should try anything else.
