I guess time will come...but I don't see the main point of having two sim cards on a phone at the same time?
Knowing the phone won't let this go on, Can you take up two calls at the same time? Probably not.

Seeing that this has become quite a problem, I need to tell you all about this crap.
I have been forced to buy a new PC, due to the old one breaking down. (Finally, had it for 8 years...)
Now, while I have taken a backup of the iTunes Library, including music, apps, movies etc. And put in the new iTunes folder on the NEW PC, somehow, quite a lot of the music, previousley downloaded from iTunes, have gone missing. It was still on my iPhone, but when I plugged it in to synchronize, they got "kicked out" - and are now no-where to be found. I am quite frankly HIGHLY unsatisfied with this issue, and want to know, if there is a way to redownload my music, without involving iTunes Store Support into it. Mostly, because I think they are quite nice people, but with very limited options when it comes to helping each individual in a way, satisfying enough. I have had previous encounters with them, turning out quite... harsh.
Let me know what you think, and if I should write a formal complaint to iTunes Store.

Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..

Can you make a PDF that can display two languages?
Hi, I have a need to display a PDF in two languages (I work in a hospital clinic). I want the computer to be able to display Spanish to the patient, and when the form is completed, turn the form back into English for printing so the output is readable by clerks (this form goes to people who aren't Spanish speaking for processing). I can provide both the Spanish and English versions of the form. Can this be done in real practice?

Garcon's situation/request may be one where I'll be soon (I work for a medical center in a university setting), so this could be a useful thread. This Layers feature is new to me and sounds promising. However, my initial experience with implementing it has raised several usability issues (which may be due to my Acrobat version and my inexperience with this feature).
First, you apparently can't import a foreign language (e.g., Esperanto) pdf as a layer into an English pdf and then set it so that you can only see Esperanto -- you can only toggle the Esperanto layer on or off with the English always on display. My work-around was to create a blank pdf and then import the English and Esperanto pdf file into layers. Then there's no way to set it with the default Acrobat controls so that if a user opens the file using Reader that only one of the layers is active (I don't know if it's possible with JavaScript).
Second, if it's a multi-page document you will have to import each page separately for each language (some forms we translate into 7 different languages). That'll become tedious and also increases the risk for mistakes. Best approach here probably will be separate LanguageX/English files instead of one monster LanguageA/LanguageB/etc./English file.
Finally, form fields can't be assigned/displayed by layer (using default Properties windows), nor will they import into a layer if your source pdf has form fields. Unless by some miracle the form fields all line up in the same spot (unlikely as one language we occassionlly translate into is Arabic), creating and positioning all the form fields may get tedious real quick. The sample form I was working with has almost 200 potential form fields across 3 pages.
Any usability tips or links to using layers in forms will be appreciated. -

This is the problem with extrapolating personal experience to generalized statements about a product that has been sold in the many millions in dozens of countries around the world. I have several family members, many friends and most of my co-workers have been given iPhone 4's and 4s's as their work phone, and not one of those people that I know with iPhone 4/4s phones has ever had a front nor back screen break. So from my perspective, you and your friends are the extreme few, the complete opposite of your perspective. -
I have a 3GS phone that can no longer be upgraded on my Powerbook because it is ancient and the os will only run 10.4.11, consequently iTunes will only upgrade to 9.2.1(4). Please don't answer that i need to upgrade the computer os because that has been a past nightmare i have been through too many times.
Is there any way i can upgrade the phone w/o going to an apple store so hereafter w/ the upgrade to the new os (whenever that gets squared away), i will not need a computer to do it?

the new search interface in firefox 34 and upwards does address exactly this situation and is optimized for that scenario - you type your search term and select the search engine you want to go it to & you're done (if you want do do a search with the default engine just hit enter). in the old interface you needed at least one more click for that action...
please also note that for the moment at least it's still possible to change back to the old interface in firefox 34 and above:
enter '''about:config''' into the firefox address bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up) & search for the preference named '''browser.search.showOneOffButtons'''. double-click it and change its value to '''false''' (this will take a restart of the browser to have an effect). -

I am doing a series of fades one into the next. Sound will probably change some of my early choices. Does it make sense to do longish clips that one can then play around with? Is this an efficient choice?

Try redownloading it from the App Store app on your iPhone. Also, apps that are larger than 20 megabytes require a Wifi connection to download. Sometimes the apps will just take a long time to download if you are in a weaker 3G reception area (if you are using 3G to download the app).

My iphone 4s screen is frozen, i can not shut the phone off, can not answer the phone or texts,
Reset, hold both home and power buttons until the iPhone begins to start. Usually takes about 10 seconds. Just keep holding both buttons.

I am not sure but if they do have the way to do it, I would like to try. But I prefered the easy way ^_^
