Hi Experts,
Why Portal will be slow when we work on Theme Editor in Creating new Theme or modifying existing one.
Note: Since i have done Branding for 6 to 7 Clients i fell same , portal runs very slow.

Hi,
use the Eclipse Theme Editor. No need to be logged on in the portal, hence: faster. You'll only have to upload the theme afterwards to the portal.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears. 
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions. 
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

Since upgrading to Firefox 27.0 some webpages will not load when I click on them. It gives me a message saying that Firefox can't find the server.

I have to click the link several time before it will load and sometimes when they do load it does not show the page right. It is like the HTML is messed up or something. I have tried everything I can think of. I started in safe mode, still did it., I removed add-ons, still did it., I reset Firefox and still did it., I completely uninstalled Firefox and re-installed Firefox and it still does it. I have tried Malware Bytes Anti-Malware scans and Avast boot-time scans and found no malware or viruses. I have found that those websites open the first time with no problems on my IE9 and they used to do so in Firefox 26.0. I'm at my wit's end. The website links are in my bookmarks and are used all the time so they are trusted and my avast is set to allow them. They range from news websites to gun websites and everything I have read says that Mozilla does not filter those unless something has changed recently.

Illustrator is slow when i work with micro text

I have Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium, and all programs works perfectly, except Illustrator, i can manage all but when some work have microtext it takes a lot of minutes thinking and processing the order, inclusive "select" takes about 2 minutes in process the order. I uninstall the software and instal again it but it doesn't matter continues as same as before.
i have 3 Mac G5 with xeon and 8Gb of RAM, and a lot of space in my hard disk,and all the updates of the mac, so i dont know what is the problem, the software is original and the macs are new, what can i do?
There is an update that fix that problem?

I have type set many micro fonts in many different projects. And many people in the industry have noticed that Illustrator CS4 is very slow doing simple task like microprint.

You can see the difference if try to set microprint using CS3 or older version. Your computer is more than qualify for this little task.
Please note that CS3 is extremely bad when it come to strokes (any line lower that .012 point will display the worst line you ever seen). for this type of work I will recommend to work with CS2. Yep the old version is superior to CS3 and CS4.

Microsoft excel 2013 stops working and getting very slow when I work in one file

I am using windows 8.1 pro in my office and I have excel 2013,
When I'm working on excel generally there is no problem, but I have an excel file which I work on in it's too slow and stops working, I have also tried to open the same file in another computer which is having the same problem.
while I was using Office 2010 it was working very fine, I can also share my file with you if you want in order to be checked and resolved.

You can share the file with us by sending it to GBSD TN Office Information Collection [email protected] Be sure that you have the private information hidden.
Meanwhile, since it works fine in Office 2010, we can try to open the file in Excel 2010, then go to File > Options > Formulas, check if you have enabled iterative calculation. If so, uncheck the check box and switch the workbook calculation to Manually.
Then, save the changes and then open the modified excel using Excel 2013 to see the result.

I have removed FF4 twice & and reloaded. Norton goes ballistic about containerplugin.exe. IT takes 4 minutes for a window to load, and NO request will be honored until the window is totally loaded. Is FF4 BETA?? Can I get my older version back? Please help. This a custom built laptop, dual boot with linux; I do not update drivers frequently because it is custom-built and new drivers sometimes BREAK it.

Why is Illustrator CS6 slow when I try to modify anchors?

I am having some issues dealing with vectors in illustrator CS6. Every time I modify an anchor or handle on a path it takes illustrator a good second/second and a half to update the change. If I am working on normal view it shows the path being modified but its stroke is still in the original position and when I try to work on outline view it just takes that second to update.
OS: Windows 7 pro. - 64bit
Processor: Intel core i7 CPU Q740 @1.73GHz
RAM: 8GB
Any thoughts on why that is and how I can solve this problem?

Why is labview so slow when I use an array subset to scan through a large array

I am using an array sub set to scroll arrays across an intensity graph, and it works but when I load a large array (ex. 482 x 1000) the program is extremely slow, updating appox. every 3 seconds. What I'm I doing wrong?

JDeveloper is becoming too slow when you work with web services

Hi,
I am trying to write some web services code but after generating the Java classes from the WSDL the IDE becomes extremely slow.
I need to wait 5-10 seconds each time while writing a word in Java editor. I tried to disable auto suggest and all the fancy things like that but could not make it faster.
Any suggestions ?

I don't have any backing bean for this project. I am implementing a web service by using a WSDL. I guess the problem is JDeveloper can't handle having so many Java files .
When I generate the Java classes from the WSDL I end up having hundreds of Java classes and some are a little long. Looks like it is the same behavior that you mentioned about having big backing bean classes..
For now I am using IntelliJ Idea for editing the Java code and I use JDeveloper for running only. Idea doesn't bother having that many Java files and works as it supposed to work.

Why VTP will auto update when I not configured it?

That is one Cisco 4950 switch configured with VTP domain, but when I connect with new CIsco switch with the network, the new switch will learn VTP from the 4950 switch. The question here, I not configured any domain or VTP password on the new switch but why will still update the VTP from the 2950 switch?
The problem will coz my network congested when VTP kept on broadcasting?

You are right, the port using trunk. Even I change to transparent mode but the VTP will still update.
I can only change to all switches with different domain name or else my network will congested due to VTP broadcasting.
Note: All Cisco floor switches will connected back to main Nortel core switch with trunk mode, but only one Cisco floor switch with VTP configured but when connect this VTP switch 2950 to the network, all the floor switches will learn the VTP automatic, but those floor switches not even configured any VTP domain and password.

Why is A3 so slow when using brushes on my MacPro?

Does anyone know what I can do to my MacPro so the brushes stop jerking and pausing when using them. I have what I would think is a well equipped machine but I'm getting so tried of the brush stopping for several seconds when I'm brushing in an adjustment. I have my operating system and software on my main drive, with the A3 libraries and photos on a separate drive. I mostly capture RAW files with my Canon 7D. Below are my MP specs. Will a better video card make a considerable difference? Thank you in advance for all the great support in this forum!

My guess is the graphics card is not keeping up. With that box I would install a Radeon HD 5870 (or whatever is new now), tests at http://barefeats.com/wst10g7.html
Not that I think it would affect brushes, but the other thing I would do is install a SSD from OWC as boot drive.

New mail or sent mail takes a long time to open..all other e-mail systems on my IMac are almost instant access.

I run very few or no extensions with the exception of Java and Flash. I never, '''NEVER''' use stupid toolbars. The problem with FireFox on OS X Lion seems to be related to the OS. The speed of my Internet connection never changed and it continues to be fast for all of my computers, both Mac and Windoze 7.
If you change your default DNS on the Mac to something like the IP address of the Google DNS servers, FireFox and Chrome will run at normal speeds. If anyone needs help with this, please post another message and I will post instructions.
