The Nokia Xpress Internet browser tries to create a secure Internet connection via SSL/TLS certificates. Because certificates are only valid a certain period of time (one, two, three years), Nokia Xpress is suggesting this as issue.
However, another issue could be missing certificate authorites in your phone. Please, go to Nokia » Menu » Settings » Security » Certificate Authorites. Is that list empty?

When I try to access adobe from my smart phone to use my form created in formscentral I receive an error message that says "unsupported browser". Further info - I changed my security settings to allow apps from anywhere, and again tried to install. I again got an error message
that the update failed to install, and to contact Customer Support.

It wasn't a charge, rather a "hold" to verify your account. The hold will be released in a day or so.

i hav got problem in my Nokia X2-02 that when i update nokia browser it prompts me to keep original data or not i clicked yes aftr the update now conflicting items are shown and nokia browser niether sart it says conflicting items are there.

I'd like to add a bit on this message, because it is indeed possible to access the http://download.browser.ovi.com address from within nokia chat the next way (just it was not very clear from the post for me what needs to be done):
- start Nokia Chat (Messaging->More->Chat) and sign in with your chat account (Create chat account if neccessary)
- start a new conversation with anyone (a non-existing address will do as well)
- enter the download address (http://download.browser.ovi.com) to the message area and send the message.
- the message will appear with the download address shown as a link. Select the download address in the message. The phone starts the browser and redirects to the download page.
- download and install the browser. Hopefully this fixes the conflicting applications problem for you.

I have the latest version of Firefox but iCloud says my browser isn't supported.

Firefox says there are no updates available, but when I go to iCloud.com, I get a page saying my browser isn't supported and I should upgrade to the newest version. I can't upgrade my IE - the last time I did it messed up my computer so badly I had to revert to factory settings. Anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions as to why iCloud isn't detecting my up-to-date Firefox browser?

There is one other thing about when I updated firefox. It automatically disabled a bunch of add ons that were incompatible. Other than that I don't know how. I've given up on icloud all together now.
I just checked my plugins for firefox and they are all enabled now.
There is a selection to "check to see if your plugins are up to date" in the options/plugins in firefox and I did that during the install to also update plugins as well as to update firefox. my version now says 7.0.1. Look in help/about and see if this is what you have

Unable to check download status on nokia browser o...

i have nokia 5233..nd the nokia browser has a downloads section in the options, where one can check the status of downloaded items whether they are downloaded or are currently downloading. My problem is, when i download something, i cannot open the downloads in the nokia browser on my nokia 5233.. When i click on the downloads in the options menu, NOTHING HAPPENS..but if the item gets downloaded i can open it outside the browser otherwise via the file manager! And in case the download remains incomplete, when i exit the nokia browser, a notification saying, 'view interrupted downloads' comes, when i click yes on it, the browser opens my homepage nd i still cannot check my downloads..what do i do? Please help!

have you chceked that you are up-to-date with firmware updates, through checking via Nokia Suite on your PC? if there are any updates, please update to the latest version offered. if that fails, you can try re-installing your current firmware thru Nokia Suite.

Error message after updating Nokia Browser.

In my Nokia X2-02, after updating Nokia Browser, it gave me an error message: Conflicting applications, Show items?
Please fix this bug, as I have tried resetting all settings and updating the software via PC.

This is a known problem which happens sometimes: there's a new versio of browser available, but the application get corrupted during the download/installation of the app and stops working. Updating the device SW with Nokia Suite does not unfortunately fix the problem.. The only sure way to have the issue fixed would be to take the phone to a Nokia Care service point for refurbishing. http://www.nokia.com/global/support/locations/
Another possible workaround for the problem is to use e.g. Opera Mini instead of Nokia Browser. (you can install it with Nokia Suite even though the Nokia Browser on your phone is now non-working).
I have tried to push Nokia to release a new SW update for most device models which would correct the issue without the need to refurbish the device at a Care Point, but the latest conclusion was that the problem does not occur frequently enough to create such fix... Except for a few very latest devices should be getting it in near future

Nokia support hopeless, Nokia Browser a joke!

There is a problem with Nokia Browser on the Nokia Asha 300.
The problem is that the browser does not clear cookies when the user toggles 'clear cookies'.
The PHP script bellow will demonstrate Nokia Browser's failure to clear cookies.
What the PHP script does is generate a random number to a variable within the cookie session. As long as you are using the cookie it creates, then PHP will not generate a new random number. You can see this by hitting refresh - the number will not change.
If you visit the page (script) on Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome etc and then delete the cookie, a new random will generate.
If you visit the page (script) on Nokia Browser and then clear cookies, returning to the page does not generate a new number. This shows that Nokia Browser in fact is not clearing cookies.

Nokia browser not working after update

I recently updated the nokia browser and now it's not working. When i try to use an app that uses the browser it attempts to use ovi browser but it's not compatible and it displays a message saying that the app is running but can't display. Anyone else have the same issue? And does anyone know a fix for this. Oh I forgot i'm using a Nokia Asha 303.

Thank you for your post and welcome to the forums!
Try to re-install Opera Mini using Nokia Suite, please follow this link to download it. If the application still does not work, you could reset your phone by dialling *#7370# followed by your security code (the default security code is 12345, unless you have changed it). Before reset, it's a good idea to back up your phone as it will remove all data on the device.
When your device boots up, restore your backup (remember to untick settings) and re-install all your applications from "my stuff" section on Nokia Store.

I'm running a Nokia Browser version number 8.3.1.4 on my Nokia C7 device, it's a Symbian Belle OS. is there any way I could install a spell check like there is in other web browsers. I still haven't found any browser for Nokia that has this feature, so is there such a thing? your help will be more than appreciated

hi mate, i would say that there isn't any options available to you. Official development has stopped on Symbian devices for such a long time now and probably so has third-party developers. sorry mate.

Nokia browser and facebook moble (touch) website

Hi NDS. I just want to know something... My phone is Nokia 700 FP2 v 113.010.1506. I have an issue using the facebook mobile website, on Nokia Browser.
The page loads but:
1) On the top i have no notification icons.
2) I cant use the side-slide menu, when i press on there is no reaction.
3) when i slide down the news feed, it muat load the old post, but nothing happens.
I wrote about this to facebook, but there was no result.
Opera mobile loads the page and everything is good but due to slow performance of script and etc. loading, i don't use Opera mobile.
On FP1 everything was working perfect, after FP2 this issue appeard.
Yes only facebook is not a reason to say that there is a bug. I just want to know if this happens only to me.

The built-in browser isn't the best for Facebook'ing, i've found. you can also try third-party applications in the Nokia Store for Facebook.
