Why the system hangup with iPhoto ?

Dear Sir,
Really surprised, Apple, being such a good name in market, and I have been using it for last 8 years,
and now when the problem comes, there is no any response from your end.
Would you please be kind to reply me or guide me how to settle this problem, the movment you start
the ipoto, the system gets hanged, and even if you connect your mobile to sync, the same things is
there, the movement iphoto starts.
Moreover, have deleted and and re-installed iphoto, but the problem remains same.
Awaiting for your immediate suggestion.
Best Regards
Narendra

You are not talking to Apple here. This forum is made up of volunteer users talking to other users.
There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 9 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.

    Looks like disp+work.exe dumped at the O/S level.  Check the windows event log to see if you can find anything.
    The user didn't do anything, at best the user could probably crash a single work process, but the process would just restart anyways.
    Also, make sure your kernel is upgraded to the latest versions, there were releases of kernel (640 and 700) known to have these dumps.

  • Why the system create HU that already exists  in table VEKP when I use BAPI_HU_CREATE?

    Hi All,
    When I use the BAPI_HU_CREATE  to create HU, the system give me a HU and it inserts a line in Table VEKP, however when I search in table VEKP  with field HU EXIDV, I find  two entries with the same HU, one of them has VPOBJ 01 and the other has VPOBJ 12, So when I execute  transaction LM46  the system shows “The system could not find transfer order for execution” because the system search in table VEKP it find the first line with VPOBJKEY = delivery  and STATUS = 0020, however those delivery is not assigned to transfer order that I want to confirm transfer order.
    Why the system create HU that already exists  in table VEKP when I use BAPI_HU_CREATE?
    Thank you!
    Best regards

    Do you want to say that you got 2 HU from BAPI_HU_CREATE?
    I think you only got the one which has VPOBJ = 12 Non-Assigned Handling Unit
    which is exact what the BAPI is used for, see the docu in SE37. Didn't you yourself add this EXIDV in the IDoc?
    VPOBJ = 01 Outbound Delivery
    If you want to pack the Outbound delivery then you should use BAPI_HU_PACK.

  • Why the system is picking negative value in commitment budget?

    While creating a GRN I am getting an error message u201CItem 001 WBS element MA.01.01 budget exceededu201D checking the same in budget report, I found that that the PO value of the element is negative in commitment budget amount details.
    Why the system is picking negative value in commitment budget?
    How can I fix the system from not allowing negative value?
    Example: Total budget in WBS Element MA.01.01 is Rs.10,000.00.
    The PO value for PO001 Rs.4,000.00, PO002 Rs.3,000.00 & Rs.2,000.00.
    It means the available budget is Rs.1,000.00.
    But when creating another PO value of Rs.2,000.00 the PO is getting save.
    After that the system is considering any of the PO as negative. When I am trying to create GRN on that particular PO system is giving error message and asking to increase budget.

  • Hi, I was trying to copy and paste a lot of  info for one day on my calendar to another day and an error message popped up saying that the system responded with an error. Msg won't go away I force quit ical

    Need help for trying to unfreeze a message on my ical.  I was trying to copy and paste some appointment info from one day to another on my ical and a message popped up saying the system responded with an error.  All of my info was below the message.  I can't get that message to go away or work on the ical now at all.  I try to force quit ical and have shut down the computer and it still comes up.  Any suggestions?

    K,
    Try removing the com.apple.iCal.plist file from your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences Folder. To find that Library folder, if you are using Lion, use Finder>Go Menu>Depress the "Option" key>Library. Drag the .plist file to your desktop, and log out/in or restart.
    Next, make sure that you are not connected to the internet. Then to to your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Calendars Folder and remove any files with "Cache" as a part of the file name. Use the same method as listed above to get to the correct Library Folder. Log out/in, or restart and check iCal for functionality.

  • Why the system gives 1st priority to doc type for shipping con value

    Hi gurus
    I want to know one thing,
    When we create a sales order the system take the shipping condition value from the doc type first,if it does not get any value then only it serch customer master for the value.
    I just want to know that why the system gives first priority to doc type shipping con value?
    What is the reason behind it?
    it was asked me in an interview
    Please give me the ans.
    Thanks And Regards

    Hi Babi,
    Mostly SAP systems are built in such a way that it gives you control for same functionality at various levles.In your case if you configure the shipping conditions at the document type then (irrespective of what shipping conditions are maintainned at customer master)they are defaulted .This is required to default shipping conditions for some perticular business scenarios like all rush orders to be shipped from express shipping point.
    But if yoiu do not want the more generic control then the same can be at customer master level.

    this.suit=suit;
    this.number=number;
    public String toString123() {
    return numberToString(this.number) + " of "
    + suitToString(this.suit);
    public static String numberToString(int number) {
    String result = "";

    case HEARTS: result = "Hearts"; break;
    case SPADES: result = "Spades"; break;
    case UNASSIGNED: result = "Invalid Suit"; break;

    Actually it will call String.valueOf(o) which works like this:
    public static String valueOf(Object obj) {
      return (obj == null) ? "null" : obj.toString();

  • How do I place my files on a separate hard drive from the system drive with OS X?

    I have a mac pro and want to place my files on a seperate hard drive to the system. Can anybody please ad vise me what I have to do to achieve this. My OS X is Lion 10.7.5

    Drag and drop will normally work if the separate hard drive is formatted right:
    https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3003
    Mind you, an external hard drive is the ideal way of backing up data.   Software such as Carbon Copy Cloner or Time Machine can be used for backing up, and is much faster than using the Finder for drag and drop, and will ensure the entire system gets backed up.
    Time Machine offers whole unbootable system backup with archiving.  Each archive has a temporary existence as long as the backups are automatic.  When you make them manual, you can copy them off to a non-time machine source to ensure they exist longer.  The larger your destination drive, the longer the archives last.
    Carbon Copy Cloner is used most often for clones, and it maintains an exact replica of the original, deleting anything the original had deleted on the copy that it makes, and its backups are bootable when they are successful.  It offers archiving options, but they aren't as transparent as Time Machine.
    Firewire 800 is faster than USB 2.   PCI eSATA and Thunderbolt cards are faster.  The ability to boot the PCI based cards varies by card.  But the SATA drives can be inserted internally if you want them to be boot.  Some SATA drives need a jumper to be able to be read by your 1.1's slower internal SATA bus speed.  Check with the hard drive vendor.  USB 3 cards exist as well, though I've heard USB 3 has difficulty with WiFi interferance.

  • Why the system tablespace increase a lot?

    I have noticed that the system tablespace of my prod Oracle 10g R2 on AIX 5.3L reaches over the 85% warning level now, and the size has increased from ~68% to 88% of 1.6G total assigned capacity during the last 7 months. How do i find out what reason causes the increase? can I remove some "fat" out of them? or just keep increasing the size? My fresh backup AIX 5.3L system with the same 10g R2 only takes 38% of 1.6 G.

    the system is a PI NW2004S.
    When the oraginal schema is SAPSR3DB, in the target system is SAPSR4DB, and all tables are here.
    The tablespace SAPSR3DB in the target system is empty and the copy has created one tablespace SAPSR4DB

  • Question about Removing Permissions from the System Folder with chmod

    Hi
    I have a question about the removal of permissions from the System folder (and sub directories and files).
    Background
    Since installing a new HD, clean install of 10.6, application of updates and moving over backed up user directories I have had several issues with permissions.
    I have read several threads on this and using disk warrior and other tools I have been able to fix most of the issues.
    The Problem
    The issue that remains is a permissions check using Disk Utility keeps reporting
    ACL found but not expected on "System".
    followed by an extensive list of sub directories and all.
    Attempts to repair take hours and the same errors are reported.
    Found Solutions
    I have read about changing and/or completely removing the ACL from the permissions from the System using two different commands:
    sudo chmod -R -N ./System/* ( to remove all ACLs)
    or
    sudo chmod -R -E ./System/* ( to replace all ACLs )
    My Question is ( to the UNIX gurus):
    What is the difference between the usage with -E and -R and which is the best approach for a Systems directory and (subordinates)?
    Many thanks!!

    OK
    So I misread on the your instructions about the PW reset, did it, no harm in that. I did also select the options to reset all the permissions for all the accounts and the ACL issues were not resolved. My bad, I forgot to note that.
    You do suggest getting and expert opinion but alas these are rather elusive. In most cases the Apple solutions is to do a complete reinstall... I have found that unless you completely wipe a drive and rebuild everything there are often artifacts left behind. Since I have full and redundant back-ups I would rather explore and hack a little instead of a dull old system reinstall. The irony is the system issue I had was it was the result a reinstall and combo update on a new drive. I recognize the risks of entering the realms of the System folders but I am willing to explore knowing full well that I have a path to recovery.
    Thanks again for your insights. I come to the forums looking for insights and ideas but not a lecture...
