Why two remote keys are genrated in data manager when i'm syndicating the same records twice

Hi Experts,
Please guide me that will there be any problem if two remot keys are getting generated for the same system thougt we are expecting to update the same Business Partner Number in ECC.
Also We are able to see two different business partner number(in ECC this is KUNNR in KNA1)
Please guide me how to proceed so that when we syndicate the same set of records we want to get update the records in ECC for the same KUNNR.
We don't want to get another KUNNR for the same records.
Thanks!

I am not familiar with the different software that you mentioned but as a
first step I would check compatibility which is done as below:
Get original operating system CD that was used to install Windows XP on the
machine in your post. When Windows XP is inserted into CD ROM drive it
normally will ask you to conduct compatibility check for the current
installation. See what it says.

  • Why two FLOAT values are stored differently?

Curious as to why two FLOAT values are stored differently. Inserting
two FLOAT values one with value of 99E9 and the other with 12E-9.
Value for 99E9 was stored in the database as 99000000000 and 12E-9
was stored in the database as 1.2E-8. Why were they stored in
different formats? I am using Oracle9i

Please don't cross post between the Database - General and PL/SQL forums.

I'd copied some pictures from a PC to a folder in Finder in my new iMac. The 'Date Created' in iMac is not the same as the 'Date Created' in the PC. Why? Is there a way to fix that?

View Menu -> Sort Photos is a good way to start.
    Some organising possibilities in iPhoto:
I use Events simply as big buckets of Photos: Spring 08, July - Nov 06 are typical Events in my Library. I use keywords and Smart Albums extensively. I title the pics broadly.
    I keyword on a
    Who
    What
Where basis (The When is in the photos's Exif metadata). I also rate the pics on a 1 - 5 star basis.
Using this system I can find pretty much find any pic in my 50k library in a couple of seconds.
So, for example, I have a batch of pics titled 'Seattle 08' and a  typical keywording might include: John, Anne, Landscape, mountain, trees, snow. With a rating included it's so very easy to find the best pics we took at Mount Rainier.
    File -> New Smart Album
    set it to 'All"
    title contains Seattle
    keyword is mountain
    keyword is snow
    rating is 5 stars
Or, want a chronological album of John from birth to today?
    New Smart Album
    Keyword is John
Set the View options to Sort By Date Ascending
    Want only the best pics?
add Rating is greater than 4 stars
The best thing about this system is that it's dynamic. If I add 50 more pics of John  to the Library tomorrow, as I keyword and rate them they are added to the Smart Album.
In the end, organisation is about finding the pics. The point is to make locating that pic or batch of pics findable fast. This system works for me.

In the Duplicates database,i hava the key which has many data, how i can delete all the data.such as i hava the key:aaa, but the data has three:123,234,456, how i can del the 123,234,456, i used the cursor to del(Cursor.delete()),but i only can del the first ont: 123,and used the cursor.count() method,i find the method return 2 for me ; and me question is how to delete the remained two; thanks everybody

After calling Cursor.delete, call Cursor.getNextDup to move to the next duplicate, then call Cursor.delete again, and repeat.

How old is your Mac? If it's very recent you need to update via the App Store
If you purchased at the App Store you need to update via the App Store
Otherwise you update via Softare Update
If you have moved iPhoto from the default location (i.e. into a Folder) then the updater won't find it. Move it back.
If you have renamed iPhoto, the updater won't find it. Change it back.

  • After reformatting my 1 Tb WD ext drive and tinkering with the "exclude these items" list, I now get the following error message from Time Machine:Are you sure you want to back up to the same device your original data is on? the WD disk has mounted??

After reformatting my 1 Tb WD ext drive and tinkering with the "exclude these items" list, I now get the following error message from Time Machine: "Are you sure you want to back up to the same device your original data is on?"  I've reformatted in Disk Utilities...not sure what I did wrong.  Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure what you mean by "booted" from it.
If the Mac OS is installed on the external drive, then it's possible to start up from it, just as you do from your internal drive. Please open the Startup Disk preference pane in System Preferences, and verify that your internal drive is selected as the startup disk.
Assuming that's the case, then it may be that your TM settings have been corrupted. Turn off TM, then move or delete the file /Library/Preferences/com.apple.TimeMachine.plist. Turn TM back on, recreate your settings, and try again.

My wife is having the same problems as a reciever. She works in a school as a teaching assistant and her teacher sends messages that are mixed with previous texts from ages ago.
Can anyone shed some light on this problem or is it only her and this poster?

  • Why are ACR PSD files 10-20 percent larger than the same file resaved in PSD?

Why are ACR > PSD files 10-20 percent larger than the same file resaved in PSD? I posted this many years ago and never found an answer. Now that my drives fill up quicker, I thought I might chase this question a little bit further.
Same .CR2 saved within ACR either with cmd-R or open ACR within PSD, the saved file is 34.5mb. Resave that same file (no edits) within PSD either with or without Max-compatible and the file is now 30.7mb. Another file that is 24.5 becomes 19.5MB.
Why the difference? Is ACR and PSD actually using different compression strategies?
    thanks.
Mac 10.8.5 / CC / ACR 8.4.1 - but this has been a consistent behavior over many years and versions, CS6 / CC.

    Hi Jeff
If it is RLE it's not as efficient as LZW:
Saved ACR>PSD = 40.1MB  (sample image this AM)
opened in PS and resaved as PSD = 30.8MB
resaved as TIF without LZW = 40.1MB    (this adds to your thought that the ACR>PSD doesn't us any compression)
    resaved as TIF/LZW = 9.6MB
    Jeff Schewe wrote:
I really think your priorities are a bit off. 10-20% is meaningless...you just need to get bigger....  and quit fussing over a few GB's here or there...
???   I hope that the Adobe engineers are fussing over 10-20% efficiencies.
I'm within arms reach to a rack of 40TB of drives (doesn't include off-site drives), and all 2TB drives are being recycled to 4TB drives, as a result the rack is always growing. Actually the ACR>PSD files don't really make a difference in our long term storage, only for the nightly backups. But anyway, how you save, what you save etc. should all be part of the discussion.
.... so in my case, throw in an excess MB here and there and all of a sudden you are talking TB's. Plus advantages in backup times, drive life, and energy use.
Somebody added compression into the PS>PSD format, but it wasn't included in the ACR>PSD format, was it a decision or an oversight? If it's just a matter of making ACR compatible with PS when saving the same PSD format..... then why not?

  • Calculated members in Data Manager when run package

    Hi All
Do you know why calculated members in C_ACCT dim (which has child and are calculated by hierarchy) are not available in data manager when I want to run package. I want copy this calculated members to another account by using script logic and run it by data manager.
    Below is my script
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET C_ACCT = IC_BSAS05
    *WHEN ENTITY
    *IS 1013
    *REC(FACTOR=2,C_ACCT="ICX_BSCS02")
    *ENDWHEN
    *COMMIT
    IC_BSAS05 is caclulated by hierarchy.
It works for non-calculated, please tell me if it is possible to run script also for calculated members.
    Regards!

    Hi Justyna,
When you say that IC_BSAS05 is "calculated by hierarchy" do you mean that IC_BSAS05 is hierarchy node?
If this is true then try replacing the first line of your script with
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET C_ACCT = BAS(IC_BSAS05)

    Thanks Sandy,
I have already solved the problem , I  have done the following actions:
    1. Stop J2EE engine
    2. rename folder
         /usr/sap/<SID>/<Instance>/j2ee/os_libs/adssap
Please rename this adssap folder to adssap.old
    3. Start J2EE engine
During starting J2EE engine, folder adssap will be re-generated.
    4. Also make sure XMLform.exe is extracted under
        /usr/sap/<SID>/<Instance>/j2ee/os_libs/adssap/XMLFormService/bin
I restarted the entire instance (ABAP  and JAVA) and now all is running fine.

  • Connecting the ipad to a data projector when projector is on the ceiling

I am trying to connect the ipad to a data projector when projector is on the ceiling. I have the VGA cord but it is way to short ...is there another cord to connect the both?

It is my understanding that the dgital adapter will give you full video mirroring over HDMI from the iPad 2, although there are some reported models of TVs and projectors that have issues, but that analog signaling, such as VGA, is limited to apps specifically written to provide access to that type of video connection.

Are you saying, right now that the TM refuses to work even after a re-boot?

  • Why BDC when we can do the same with Bapi's

    Hiii
Plz tell me why BDC when we can do the same with Bapi...
plz list out the differences clearly
    Thanks & Regards
    krishna

If the same functionality can be achieved by BAPI then we generally go for BAPI instead of BDC. The main reason is that the screen no can change in the next version and in that case the BDC code will not work. But if no BAPI is available then we go for BDC.
Sometimes we need to handle a large amount of data in BDC/BAPI in which it is not preferable to use 'CALL TRANSACTION' command. If the corresponding BAPI internally use 'CALL TRANSACTION'  command. Then instead of that BAPI we create a BDC with SESSION METHOD.
Ex: IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS internally use CALL TRANSACTION. So if we need to use a large amount of data we create a BDC with session method instead of using IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS.
