Why when I opened pages app on my iPad we're the documents there and then disappeared? Now they are gone!
Can anyone tell me why when I opened the pages app all my documents were there and then disappeared. Now they are gone!!!! How can I get them back?
Try this:
1) On a web browser (on a computer, not on an iPad) go to iCloud.com
2) sign in with your Apple ID and password.
3) Once you are signed in, select the orange 'Pages' icon.
4) If there are welcome screens, continue until you get to Pages web version
5) Are your documents showing there?
If yes, delete Pages app from your iPad, and reinstall it. Your documents should reappear when you open it after installing. If no, then the only possibility would be if you have previously made a back up on your computer with iTunes.

Hi The next thing to do is to Restore back to Factory Settings this will get rid of any bugs . After Restore use same Apple ID /Password then you should get all your Apps & data back If you still have this problem make an Appointment at Apple Store . Cheers Brian

System Preferences>General...remove the check for the box labeled "Restore Windows when Quitting & re-opening apps".

what do i do when iPhoto Deletes my recent pic's all the way to 2010????? i opened the program and it said i needed to update my library otherwise i wouldn't be able to view the images that were not updated…… and now they are gone!!!!!! You should get your keyboard checked as it's repeating on a lot of keys and makes you look silly.
There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 9 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have. -

This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.

I update to newest Firefox and now they are gone- it looks like a completely new Firefox. What do I do? There is nothing in my toolbar, or history, or bookmarks. I have also none of my old slides or whatever they are called when I open a new tab. HELP!

For some inexplicable reason, Safari 5.1 will not open in Windows 7. It appears in task manager briefly and then disappears. No windows open; I have tried everything. Any ideas??
I fixed the issue. It was related to the DEP settings on my windows machine.

My Firefox crashed with important information on it!!!
My Firefox has been crashing every day sometimes several times a day. I have emailed your staff back many times looking for a reason for the crashed without any response. I have been able to get by because I would restore the settings and continue what I was doing. WELL….this last crash has disappeared from any way of getting it back and IT HAD SOME REALLY REALLY IMPORTANT OPENED WINDOWS I WAS WORKING ON (EMPLOYMENT INFO, I AM UNEMPLOYED!) AND NOW THEY ARE GONE AND I CANNOT GET THEM BACK!! YOU NEED TO HELP ME RESTORE THAT OPEN WINDOWS FOR ME. IT IS REALLY IMPORTANT!! I NEED SOME DESPERATE HELP NOW!!

NickNick, sorry to hear about that. I'm not sure where you are sending the emails, but if you use the form to submit your crash information, that goes into a database for review by the developers instead of coming to the support volunteers here.
Did you try the History > Restore Previous Session command? Firefox sometimes saves form data in the session history. This data may age out, so you should use that menu item as soon as possible.
Going forward, consider installing the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/lazarus-form-recovery/ Lazarus: Form Recovery] extension if you are filling long forms and Firefox is unstable.
With respect to the crashes, there are many possible reasons for Firefox to crash. Have you reviewed the help articles for diagnosis? For example: [[Firefox crashes - Troubleshoot, prevent and get help fixing crashes]]. -
My iTunes was working fine, all my CDs would import fully and quickly. Now they are importing slowly and when the CDs get to the last track they don't import and the CD drive just keeps spinning without doing anything! How can I fix this?
I don't want to have to restart or reinstall my iTunes again as I'll have to redo all my playlists etcLikely that CD then. Check visually for damage, blemishes, etc., not that there's anything you can really do about those other than return the CD.
The drive sits there and spins because it is trying to re-read the CD. iTunes has error correction which is contributing to all this re-reading, I believe, and you may be able to disable that in preferences if you aren't picky about the result.
You can also try other rippers such as Max or XLD. I know those have configurable error correction. I like XLD but it is slightly tricky to use until you find that for some reason the author has put all settings under preferences, not just the set once and forget ones. -
My Foscam FI8910W, opens after sign in, with three modes to choose from. Only the ActiveX mode, in IE, works to allow recordings to be made. Sometime back, just after I bought this new laptop, a free AT&T program with McAfee, is available for AT&T users. But this app, can only be loaded into Internet Explorer, and something wrong with IE, prevented it from happening. I contacted AT&T Tech support, allowed the tech onto my machine, and even he could not solve it. He then opened Firefox I already had, and installed some program, that made Firefox actually act like IE, so that McAfee software, could be downloaded and installed. It worked, using Firefox to replace IE, to download and install, but the print spooler on my pc, went bad, and would not work to use my printer. Dell tech also took control of the pc, found a complete Windows 7 reinstall was needed, and he did so. Now, the print spooler works, but the fresh install, did away with the software the AT&T Tech added to Firefox.
IE is a pain, but we need it, for some sites, like for the Activex mode, with my camera. I tried pening it in Firefox, in the ActiveX mode, and it opens, but with no picture. When I click on Device Management, to go to settings, I can't. What I get, is a small pop up balloon on lower right, that says 'javascript:administrator0'. Thinking maybe Javascript was disabled, I checked in options, and it is not, it's checked, thus enabled. I am on my pc, as administrator, so now I am stuck. Is there someone who can explain how to make it work, so I can use my camera in ActiveX mode, so I can actually record tings, if need be, when I leave? Thanks in advance. But as I previously stated, the AT&T Tech who helped me download McAfee, that their website only allows downloads with Internet Explorer, and for some reason, IE wasn't working right, so McAfee was not available, but the Tech got control of my pc, installed some sort of software program, onto Firefox, that gave Firefox the same options, as IE has. When that was done, I was able to download and install McAfee, using Firefox, instead of using IE. Since then, I had to reinstall my Windows 7 OS on my pc, so IE now works, but is still a bother using it to RECORD from the Foscam camera. Internet Explorer, is the ONLY BROWSER, that Foscam RECORDS ON, using the ActiveX mode. I can view things with the camera, in Chrome, Firefox, Opera and such, using another choice, the USER PUSH MODE, but that and the other choice, Mobile Phone, will ONLY let you watch or monitor what is being shown, but you CAN NOT RECORD, if it's not in ActiveX mode, using IE. I hoped, that whatever the technician used and installed on my pc, to fool the web into allowing something to be installed, by FIREFOX, and not by Internet Explorer as it was set up to do, would also allow Firefox to ACT like IE again, and allow the ActiveX mode, to work in Firefox. Really, what I am looking for, is probably a patch, that adds IE abilities and runs like IE, to maybe get the ActiveX aspect, to use in Firefox. Maybe I am asking a lot, but I know Firefox worked as if it was IE, to fool the site into allowing it to 'THINK' Firefox, was really Internet Explorer. As for asking Foscam for technical support, I did, and not only did the foreigner get access to my computer, made changes, the changes he made, I had to uninstall, and reinstall the Foscam camera. Outsourcing tech support, doesn't help me much, when it's with someone, that ENGLISH, is not their native language. When I open an app it immediately closes back to the homescreen. How do I fix this?

There is no "quick fix" for all. It depends on what's causing the crash.
Delete and install the app again
Reboot iPhone
If there is a conflict with a running service or app, then that could be causing it, as well as memory usage.
It could also just be crap coding by the developer. -
I have an Apple Wireless Mouse (model A1015 EMC No. 1938).
I metal "strip" fell out. I can not figure out how to put the strip back in.
Leaving it out, the mouse doesn't work (no light, no nothing).
Does the strip actually belong and if so, where does it go?
I went to the Apple site and looked up how to replace the batteries and started off saying to turn off the mouse. I have no idea how to turn off the mouse. It also did not show a metal strip on the inside.
When I opened the mouse, the battery cover popped off. Without the metal strip, the cover does not pop off and is very hard to remove.

i thought, when i firstly signed up, there was one and only app store. i cant remember if i signed up to the us app store or the greek one. soooo confusing...
The store you use is linked to the credit card on file and the physical address for that credit card. If you setup your account using a Greek credit card and address, then your account is tied to that store.
If you want to try and change that, go to http://expresslane.apple.com and click on itunes and then go to manage your account to see what you are tied to. -
I have created an App-V 5.0 Package for Office 365 ProPlus using the documentation provided here:

I am able to load the App-V Package into my SCCM 2012 SP1 environment and deploy the package to a test machine
Within SCCM, I have configured the deployment type to only select a couple of applications. Notice that Lync, Outlook, Infopath and Onenote are not selected.

For my deployment type, I only selected Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Looking at my test machine, those 3 applications now show up in my start screen.

I don't see any of the other Office applications be default on my start screen, so I would think all looks good. If I type another Office application, lets say access at the start screen I get, "No apps match your search."

But if I type Lync, Outlook, Infopath or Onenote, it shows me that those applications are available, and I can launch them as an App-V application just as I could Excel, Word or Powerpoint, the applications that I wanted to have available.
This is not what I was expecting when I went through the trouble to create an App-V package. It looks like almost all of the apps become available on my client machine, all App-V is doing is making the application button in the start screen a little
harder to find.
What is interesting is that for the applications I did want published, I can search for them by just entering a few letters of the application name, and they show up with the 2013 version label, see below for an example search for Word.

For the applications that I did not publish but still show up on my client, I have to type in the full name of the application for the launch button to come up. For example, I can't type lyn and expect to see Lync, but if i type lync I will get an
option to launch the application. The same goes for Outlook, Infopath and Onenote, and when you do type in the full namke of the app, it doesn't show the version number like Word does as Word 2013, it just shows Lync, or Outlook, or Infopath, or
Onenote.

Can anyone from Microsoft confirm that this is expected behavior. If this is to be expected this is pretty disappointing, because a main point of the App-V package is it is the only way to limit which applications are deployed via Office 365 ProPlus
but from what I can tell, it really isn't limiting anything beyond the start screen for most cases.So it looks like the config xml files are the best option
