Why won't my iPhone 5s allow me to answer FaceTime calls on the new iOS 8.0.2?
In addition to my iPhone 5s not allowing me to answer any FaceTime calls, my iPad Air freezes the FaceTime screen and has to be restored to be able to use it again. My Macbook Pro freezes the FaceTime screen and the visual is always blurry. In addition it drops the call after no longer then five minutes. EXTREMELY IRRITATED. Feels like I'm dealing with another set of Dell products.

I would recommend the steps in the article below. See the section labeled Verify that the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is installed > For Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 > Update the Apple Mobile Device Driver.

Your issue is different from the OP's. In the future, post your own thread to get answer to your specific questions.
For the OP: Go to Settings > General > Auto-Lock and set it to your preferred time.
For you: Create a backup and restore the device as new and test it to see if it still gets very hot. -
I have started getting spammed on multiple Apple products (iPhone and iPad) with FaceTime calls since the recent IOS update. Is there any feature or setting I can use locally to restrict incoming calls to a FaceTime account without going to the carrier?
After calling AT&T tech support one more time, and explaining to them that the glitch was on their network, they admitted that the problem was at their tower...
I continued to use the phone on EDGE mode for two more days until the problem was fixed.
I even got a call back from a tech support guy asking me if my phone was working properly....
I wish they would have admitted to the problem before I sat at the apple store for 2 hours. -

Hello I really need to be able to see my earlier text messages? For some reason, I am only able to see the five most recent text messages of the day?? Yesterday I was able to see ALL my messages and now I can't :-(. HELP!!!
Do have the latest version of iTunes? iOS 8 will require a newer version of iTunes than iTunes 10...

IMessages are working on my iphone 4s but not in ipad since I installed the new ios 6. I have tried various fixes others have mentioned but i still cannot send or receive messages on the ipad. Help?
I should have explained further. The game opens in a new window over to the upper left of my screen, leaving the original page underneath. I tried minimizing it so that I could get to my toolbar and did the View > Zoom > Reset. This has no effect. The lower portion of the game is still not showing. Using other browsers the window or frame of the game is much larger, therefore everything shows.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

At a guess (you don't list the error), what maybe happening is that you have booted from the original OS install disc, told it to install the (old) original OS on to the hard disk and it has said - no thanks you cannot install an older version because it already has a newer version installed.
This is 'normal', what you have to do is totally erase the hard disk first. You do this by booting from the original OS install disc, but rather than trying to do an install straight away, you should first use Disk Utility and use that to erase the hard disk. Then you can run the install again and because the hard disk will be empty it will not have a newer OS on it and the installer will be happy.
Obviously this means any files you have on the hard disk will be erase as well. If you want to keep them you are going to need to back them up first, the easiest way would be to use Time Machine to backup to an external hard disk. -

The iPhone has a hardware problem - with the battery or something else.
The iPhone includes a one year warranty. If purchased new in October of 2012, it remains under warranty. Call AppleCare or make an appointment at an Apple Store if there is one nearby. -

Yup, you want LTE all the time. As Loquat stated, LTE = 4G
when you are sitting next to someone and the phone says 4G, it is a ATT or T mobile connection. They have fake or faux 4G that is a step down from LTE. It really is 3G+ but they came up with the fake 4G. This is why Verizon put LTE to indicate it is real 4G technology, not hype. -
