Why won't the mail app and the gmail website sync?

If i delete sometihg in mail it will not dlete on gmail . How do i get it to sync

Yep, mailbox behaviour is sent to "store sent messages on the server". This is happening, though, other primary IMAP accounts. And yes, it's been since Mountain Lion. Sometimes the messages show under the account, other times they don't. There is no sense to the randomness of it. Is there a way to "reset" all of my mail accounts without losing all of my stored mail?

Try a reset by pressing and holding the home and power buttons for 15-20 seconds until the white Apple logo appears.

For about two weeks I have not been getting my email notification, I have to go in to the mail app and retreive them manualy.Anyone else having this problem?

Judging by the number of other threads on this, yes many people have been having Yahoo mail issues with push, and it appears to be on Yahoo's side, not Apple's.

Re-install the OS, the only sure ay to get it back working.

Then no information exists. Use the Report a Problem button within the app to report it.

in the Keyboard pane of System Preferences, select the Shortcuts tab, and then select Mission Control on the left-hand side. On the right-hand side, make sure that the Mission Control checkbox is checked, double-click on its current key combination (by default “^↑”) so that the key combination is highlighted, and then press the F3 button — that will set its shortcut to be F3. You can now press F3 to bring up Mission Control without needing to also press the Fn button.

How do i remove the Tips app and the Health app that apple added to my iphone on the last update? Update 8.0.2? I didn't want these added to my phone. I have to remove apps every time there is an update. After the phone is updated I reinstall the apps I removed. After 8.0,2 there was not enough room for me to reinstall my apps because they added the Tips app and the health app. How do I remove them? When you hold your figure on the apps they added, X's pop up on all of the apps i've installed, but not on the ones that come on the iPhone and the ones that they added on this last update. Please help.

Oh, knock off the fearmongering. None of those apps are spyware. Health stores all of its data on the phone. It will only back it up to your computer if you do an encrypted back up. The only data it collects on its own are steps, stairs and distance traveled. Anything else in it is information you've explicity authorized it to collect from anothr app you've installed. You're not required to put anything in Passbook, Podcasts, iBooks or Newstand.

If you are a US customer, try forcing all applications to close and power cycle the device. Test accessing iTunes Radio after processing these steps. I would also make sure cellular data is enabled for iTunes.

Including if you tap the messaeg from app centre. (this is all on a iPod 5.1.1).

It is very difficult to navigate on facebook via safari. The IPAD does not allow other browsers to download and use it almost prevents the facebook app and the lack of scrolling the page.

I also have problems with Facebook on my iPad 2. I don't do a lot with Facebook and generally only post on my feed page. Sometimes hitting return on the keyboard enters the comment, sometimes not. Sometimes the comment will show on my iPad but if I revisit that page I find that the comment has disappeared. So I'd say that Facebook and my iPad are not totally compatible with each other.
I looked into Friendly and was about to purchase this free ap. But before I did I went to the Friendly web page for more info. There I found a page with users comments. One after another users complained about bugs with Friendly. The developers claimed a fix was coming but the user comments complained about the lack of response and support. One of the fixes suggested by the developers was to log out of Friendly then log back in. One user complained that doing this three times in ten minutes was not very helpful. Because of this I decided to avoid Friendly.
I did find a Facebook developed ap but it was for the iPhone. I presume that iPhone aps will work on the iPad but I'll wait until Facebook releases an iPad compatible ap. If there is an ap developed by Facebook for the iPad that I missed please let me know.

I saw this problem in the mac forum as well. When I open the Apple mail app and go to my yahoo inbox, it freezes. I have to back to the home screen, click it twice to view open apps and close it to access my yahoo mail again. I've tried deleting the account and "readding" it, but to no avail. My (now outdated) iPad 1 is not having this issue, probably since I'm not using the same OS...
Latest iphone 5 16GB OS...any else having this problem. It's quite annoying. I don't think it's Yahoo since I can access it on my PC as well as my iPad as I already mentioned.

Quitting the app would have been the first thing I would have recommended. Since you have already re added the account we dont have to do that again. Heres what I think you hould do next.
Restart the iPhone following this article.

Restarting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

Just what account are you trying to add? The iCloud mail account automaticaly gets added for the account used on the iPod

There is no specific option to do that, although you can redirect a message if it meets certain criteria. I believe if you wanted to bounce it back to the sender, then you would need an AppleScript to run. If you do some Google or MacUpdate searching you may find an existing script for this purpose.
