Width of my site does not show properly on phones

If you visit www.emilseres.com from a cellphone (let's say iPhone), why doesn't the width of the site show properly? On your right there will be a white stripe.
What do I have to change in Muse? (I do not want to create a seperate phone design.)
Other improvements would also be appreciated

Please check if there is any empty text frame or rectangle placed on right side of the page as it will cause the page to stretch thus space will appear.

Hi all,
I've seen a few questions regarding Muse sites not being displayed correct on a Samsung Tablet. My problem is similar but still different. The site is displaying correct on the desktop/ipad/iphone but not on the Samsung Tablet.
In the previewt his is not shown. Now I also know that the preview more or less simulates how a site should look.
This is the site: www.uwpersoonlijkeoptieadviseur.nl (a dutch site).
I have looked at the links and they seem to be ok. I mean all the links link to the Tablet version.

Hi sanjit, the thing is that on a samsung tablet from around 3 years old the problem occurs. But on a samsung tablet almost a year /2years old the site displays correct.
Both of them has got android 4.04
See the image with the specs in which it loads correct.(white background)
And here the specs of a older one (dark grey one And arround 3 years old)
And this problem occurs:
So on a newer tablet it shows correct.

Please let me know if there is any specific page element not showing up correctly on Tablet.
Also which browser are you using , browser version would help. Do you see the same problem with any other browser on same tablet.
The device details would also help.

Unfortunately it wont. Apple uses iTunes to sync ringtones purchased from the itunes store.
Android phones can have ringtones sent directly to their phones.

To my knowledge, I've only seen this for imessage only and not SMS.
The other users would need to have send read receipts enabled on their phone.

Edge animation on muse site does not show in IE 11

I made an anmation with Edge (2.01.268.25632) and published it as an oam file which was placed in Muse (7.1).on the Homepage. When published to BC everything works fine with all browsers.
However when the site was ftp uploaded to its hosting company (not BC) the animation does not show in Internet Explorer 11. Tried HTML export instead and ftp upload with Dreamweaver without result.
Any thoughts? Client does not want to install Chrome or Firefox Which have no problems with the animation. Thx. Henk

Css-file on Romote Site does not show changes

I use Dreamweaver CS4 on Win7 64bit system.
I have a new website in construction and today the developer made changes to the Style.css file. Made the changes on an other computer and not in Dreamweaver.
Now, when I open the Style.css file from the Remote Site, it does not show the changes that were made. However when I delete the Style.css file in my Local Files directory and copy the Style.css file from the Remote Site to the Local Files and open it from the Local Files in Dreamweaver, it shows the new file with the changes that were made. But the Remote file keeps showing the old data.
I took several steps to try to eliminate this problem. Closing Dreamweaver and deleting the Configuration folders in Users>[NameUser]>AppData>Roaming>Adobe>Dreamweaver CS4> Both in en_US and nl_NL, although the latter did not contain any files.
This did not work. Deleted the Style.css file on my Remote Site and uploaded it again from my Local Files. Nope. Still shows rthe css-file with the old data.
Anybody any idea where Dreamweaver gets these old data from and how to make it work differently?

I did not say my page is troubled. The trouble is that the style.css file opened from the Remote Site in Dreamweaver shows the wrong data, but in effect has the right data, because when copied to the Local Files and opened from there it shows the right data.

And I have made screenshots of the opend css files and assembled them beside each other.
On the left opened from the Local Files and on the right side the same css file opened from the Remote site.
The orange dots indicate where they differ, the green ones the items that were changed today. So it's not a problem of only today.

And I have to say I had issues before with updating files to the Remote server and how Dreamweaver shows them. Much of the times I have to delete the Remote file first to get it dispayed right if I check if it has worked by trying to open it from the Remote server.
So it's not only limited to this site under construction. It looks like a Dreamweaver thing to me.

Site does not show up on PC in Chrome

My site works fine on Mac/iPad/iPhone.
Recently one user of the site reported that it does not show up in Chrome on PC.
IE was ok, though.

Fiscal Year / Periods does not show properly in WebI and compunding

Hi,
I have few reports where I am using Fiscal Year /Period as filter.
I have created a Universe on the top of a SAP BI Query and did not do any customization.
Then I created a WebI report. In this report I created various filters beside Fiscal Year / Period. When I run report, filter window opens. I can select all other filters but when it comes to Fiscal Year / Period it does not show me the values I want to see. It shows AUG 0001, APR 0025 etc. I want to see AUG 2010, MAR 2009 etc so that I can select them and get the data of the required Fiscal Year / Period. In Cube I have the required data. If I select MAR 0010 etc I donu2019t get any data.
On the other hand if I put fiscal Year / Period in columns or rows it shows the right value.
If also run SAP BI Query and Fiscal Year / Period in Variable then on variable screen I can see the right value from where I can select and get the required result.
Do I have to do any step at Universe level or something else?
It seems that Fiscal Year / Period is compounding.
Is there any help?

Yes these values do exist in SAP BW.
It is some how compunding the values at filter level.
It does not let me see the whole value when filter screen popup in BOBJ.
In SAP whole value shows when variable screen popup, I see three columns Fiscal Year / Period. Text, Posting Period Key, and Posting Year Key.
Fiscal year / Period Text which shows Aug 2009, Posting Period Key which shows our period 1 to 16, and Fiscal year key which shows 2009 etc.
Is there any setting in BOBJ which compunds the year for variable screen so that we may see the whole values for filters?

My Number Does Not Show Up On Phone Or In iTunes

This actually occurs on what is now my wife's iphone. It had been mine until I got the 3g one. We got a new sim from AT&T and activated it through itunes for my wife. Everything works, there are no special issues other than what everyone else has seen with the 2.0 software. Her number shows up on caller id on other phones all texts and emails and calls go through with no issue. However her number does not show up anywhere on her phone, not in settings on the phone screen, not on the contacts list and not on itunes either. I remember last year there were some posts regarding this issue but when I was using this phone my number showed up where it was supposed to be so I didn't pay attention to any possible resolutions. I've found a couple of posts that refer to a possible solution involving the sim card. However we went to an AT&T store and two of the guys there who both have iphones said that the sim wouldn't have anything to do with this.
I'm assuming that something didn't transfer over when we did the activation for her but have no idea how to rectify this. I did try a restore from backup but that didn't do anything. On my phone my number shows up in the right places. Even though this isn't a critical or major issue it does annoy me ( more me than my wife! ). Does anyone have any suggestions?

Wanted to post an update for anyone else with this issue. I was advised by someone else to call AT&T customer support and have them resend activation/provisioning to the phone. He said he had the issue and this worked for him. So I called and when I finally got someone I was told that there was nothing they could "resend" to the phone but she got in touch with an Apple iphone support person and after explaining the issue to her she connected me to the Apple rep. I explained everything again to her and she said there were two options - the "restore as new phone" which she did not recommend because of the hassle and length of time involved, or have the activation resent to the phone by AT&T. I told her that I had been told there was nothing to be resent. She told me that was incorrect and then she got back in touch with AT&T support then got back to me and said I would see a text message to power off the phone. When I saw that I was to power off and wait 5 minutes and then power the phone back on. At the time I was actually using the phone that had the issue so she called me back on my phone and after 5 minutes I powered the other phone back up and the number now shows up everywhere it's supposed to. Simple, no muss, no fuss and no restore!!
I thanked her profusely and we both wondered why the first AT&T service person I spoke to did not know that this could be done or did not want to. But she told me the AT&T guys are a little scared of the Apple guys and that they can get things done that we might not be able to. Anyway it is a simple process if you can get them to do it the first time, maybe it's best to go through the Apple people first. The Apple service rep was wonderful and I'm happy!

iOS emoticons are Unicode characters that need a certain set of glyphs to be able to be displayed—think of it as a missing font not displaying correctly. If the device you send them to doesn't have the "font", it can't show it.
That's just the way it is.

I understand that much. On my MAC Mini, if you look above at original post, I CAN see both OS while in the Windows 7 partition or the MAC OS. This is NOT the case on my iMac. Again, when in the MAC OS I can see the windows partion and move information between the two that way. When in the WINDOWS partition, the only one that shows is the Windows OS from my computer or network. The only way you can tell its even a MAC is the bootcamp icon in the bottom right corner of toolbar. Both have same version of MAC OS so both should work same way.. When i double click on my computer, it should show both the Windows drive AND the MAC (as does my mini and another iMac 21.5 that i have). This iMac does not do that - only shows windows.

A specific web site does not load properly. I have looked through java help, firewall help and have not found a solution.

The web site www.everbank.com has been updated. It has a 3 panel display in the top half that rotates through the three offerings and you can pause it if you wish. It does not display on Firefox. I am using 19.0.2 and it says it is up to date. Everbank has looked into and it displays correctly for them and it displays correctly for me on IE9. I inadvertantly have the beta version of Mozilla (19.2) on my desktop and the web page displays correctly there. I have cleared the cache, looked at firewall settings (Windows 7) and have added Mozilla. Nothing has helped.

It works for me as long as JavaScript is enabled. If it's not enabled, I get a jumble of text as the 3 slides are superimposed on one another. Do you just get a blank area?
Since you cleared your cache, out of data pages, style sheet, and scripts shouldn't be a factor. Could you also clear your cookies for the site? While viewing a page on the site:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
Remove the everbank cookies individually there, then try reloading the page. Does that make any difference?
When you compared with the beta version of Firefox, were you running with the identical settings folder, i.e., same bookmarks, settings, and add-ons? I'm guessing there might be a difference.
To check for potential add-on conflicts, try disabling ALL nonessential or unrecognized extensions here, then restart Firefox:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Extensions category
Any luck?
