    Hi,
I have installed Oracle E-Business Suite Version 12.1.1.9 with Oracle Database 1.1.0.7.0 on OEL 5 Update 5. Everything works perfectly after the installation, I am able to log in to the database and log in to the website at http://<hostname>.<domainname>:80nn.
So the problem is that when my server's crashed and after we got them all up and running.
I can no start the :

And I am not sure what is going on here now. I cannot even connect to the site anymore.
When I type this in now "http://<hostname>.<domainname>:80nn" I get a "Failed to Connect" error.
Has anyone ever encountered this or know how to resolve this. Any help would be much appreciated.
(Also, I have tried lots of things, I have ran autoconfig on db and appl tier, I started and stopped all services. )

  • Windows 7 Wifi Unable to Connect (one device)

I have 4 devices (asus laptop - personal, dell laptop - work, android phone - personal, windows 8 phone - work) that all used to connect to wifi networks without an issue. Both laptops run windows 7. I'm now in temporary housing for a few months with its
own wifi setup. I do not have control of this router. Everything but the dell laptop was able to connect to this network. However, the dell will give me the generic "unable to connect error" when I try to connect and obviously the troubleshooter
doesn't provide any more information than that. Also, my ethernet cables are packed away in storage and I really don't want to buy another one for this temporary period. I've seen a lot of similar issues posted, but none of the solutions posed have worked
    for my situation yet.
So the dell has NEVER been able to connect at this location - this is not an issue where it gets booted off the network/has poor connectivity.
I've tried the following which did not work:
    1) Manually entering IPv4/Gateway/DNS etc.
    2) Sharing the network (protected and unprotected) from my personal laptop
    3) Standard restarts, disconnect/reconnects, etc. for all devices and the router
    4) Entering all the encryption types (even though I know it is WPA2-Personal, AES)
    5) Yes, wifi is enabled on that computer
    6) Given that this is a work device, I cannot easily uninstall/reinstall drivers due to security blahblahblah
I would appreciate any advice with this situation.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
First, please check the following event log log before you try any suggestions.
    Microsoft-Windows-WLAN-AutoConfig
It’s under applications and services log.
Based on the current situation, you may perform the following suggestions to check the issue:
    1. Update the router firmware and reset the router.
The default settings of Windows 7 should work normally with the wireless router.
    2. Set up a new network with WPA2 Encryption.
    3. Verify with the WLAN service is started  and set to automatic, if the WLAN service is stopped, I would suggest you to start the service and put it to automatic.
    4. Follow the steps to start the WLAN service and disable the IP Helper service. (Click on Start, type in services.msc. Select WLAN Autoconfig from the list, Right click properties)
    5. Connect to another wireless router for a test.
In addition, Please Use Network troubleshooter event logs to solve network problems
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/use-network-troubleshooter-event-logs-to-solve-network-problems
    Hope it helps.

  • Ipod Touch 3G, Although connected to wifi, unable to connect to internet

Basically the problem is that my Ipod Touch 3G is unable to connect to the internet, even though I am connected to the Wifi network. Are there any suggestions? I have read through the Apple Troubleshooting (tried resetting, setting static IP, etc.)
    Thanks

I'm having the exact same problem with my 3GS running iOS4, however my iPd Touch can connect to the internet fine. I can connect to the wi-fi, but connecting to webpages and browsing or checking hotmail etc, no such luck. I have also setup a static ip address and also authourised the MAC address of the device on the BTHomeHub router.

  • IPod won't connect to wifi, "Unable to connect to _____"?

I have an iPod that is a little under a year old. I got it in January of last year. I have 4.2.1 on it now, but shortly before I installed it my iPod wouldn't connect to any different wifi. I took it to a library and it wouldn't connect there, and it won't connect at home. I restored my iPod, I reset the network settings, I unplugged the wifi and plugged it back in again. Everything else, including my brother's iPod, connects to the wifi fine. What can I do?

You've tried about everything you can do. It might be time to contact Apple support for some advice. Since your iPod doesn't connect to any network it may need repair.

  • IPad mini doesn't detect wifi/unable to connect

    Hello,
I've had my iPad mini since March 2014. It's been working perfectly until last Friday, when it suddenly stopped connecting to my home wifi network. Upon closer inspection, I found that the iPad doesn't even detect the home network anymore. I tried all the solutions listed on here: resetting network settings, rebooting, resetting all settings - except a total restore.
At times it started detecting the network but then when I try to connect it says "unable to connect". I tried making a hotspot out of my iPhone 3G and connecting to it with my iPad - also the same thing, unable to connect. I couldn't try any other networks yet.
What should I do next? Could this be a hardware issue? PS: I've never dropped or damaged the iPad in any way, and it was just lying on the day when wifi stopped working.
    Thank you.

  • Ipad not connecting to wifi, "unable to connect"

So i have done everything from turning off and on, network reset, and reseting the entire ipad to factory settings. Nothing has helped. The wierd thing is once I got a airport express, my ipad would only connect to that and nothing else. Or it connects in the apple store or at my school where this is a big network. My wifi recognizes other networks but won't connect to them. This is extremely frustrating because when I want to connect at friends places it doesn't connect, it immediately says "unable to connect", we tried reseting the router, we even tried playing with the frequencies on the router, I've also tried at other places and its the same problem. I've never had a problem with apple products until now. Someone please help me because I don't what else to do. By the way this is a Ipad 3 and I have the latest software update as well.

I have the same issues!! Please apple get this fix soon! It's starting to get really frustrating

  • Wifi "unable to connect", but only sometimes

ok so since i have had my iphone replaced (3g with 3.0), my wifi will connect randomly at home, and when it disconnects, (like putting it into sleep mode), i will go to wifi settings and try to connect to my home connection, but am only given the message "unable to connect to linksys". this is very odd because my iphone will connect by itself to my wifi connection without problems, only, i have no idea when this will happen. it randomly connects to wifi by itself.

Yes, this is widely reported 'feature' of 3.0. There are many current threads that may or may not help you (probably not.) Hopefully spotty WiFi will be fixed in the next firmware version.

  • Wifi unable to connect when tv streams media

We just got a new Sony TV tonight that has a non wifi, LAN connection, and the Netflix application on it.  As soon as I logged into Netflix on the TV, my iPad is unable to connect to wifi. I've tried disconnecting, reconnecting, renewing, and restarting router. The minute that I turned off the TV, I'm able to connect just fine again. Any help would be greatly appreciated
    Cheers,
    Brian

if the tv suck up all the bandwidth for the netflix connection it would mean no more internet for other devices

  • WiFi -  unable to connect to home network

I had a problem syncing and iTunes not recognizing my iPod touch, (and my new iPad). Did a restore on the iPod Touch and that solved the syncing problem, now I cannot connect to the WiFi in my home, (cannot connect with my new iPad either). I have a Linksys Wireless-N Broadband Router Model WRT160N. I am dying to connect the new iPad and get it up and running, etc. Can anyone help me solve the "Unable to connect to (my home network's name)".

Use G band, not N. I encountered a lot of problems with my new router on wireless N. Here is a reply I wrote for the other posts about iPad connectivity problems:
I have the base iPad 16gb Wi-Fi model and it was connecting to wifi fine. A few days ago I had to get a new modem/router. I bought a netgear dual band model (G and N) and used wireless "N" on my my two MacBooks and my iPad.
Two days ago I started getting the "Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding." error on the iPad along with the schizophrenic signal strength bars going from three, to one, to two, to disappearing totally, to whatever, and Safari not opening pages and sometimes crashing, and when it would connect running slower than molasses.
My laptops worked fine, seeing both G and N and working equally well regardless of which I chose.
I did all the jumping thru hoops I have read on this and various forums and that Apple suggested back in April with naming each band on the router differently but with same security settings, renewing lease on Safari, reseting iPad, resetting network settings, turning auto connect off, etc., etc., etc, none of it worked.
So I started to wonder . . . does the iPad even work with "N" . . . the Apple site says "yes", but I wondered . . . what happens if I have the iPad ignore "N" and connect only with "G".
Guess what . . . that fixed the problem.
I went into Settings > WiFi > and told it to "Forget this Network" for the "N" band and then selected the "G" band.
    Problems gone.
If you're experiencing the connection problems I'd bet dollars to doughnuts you're trying to use wireless "N". Have it ignore that band and use "G".

  • Wifi "unable to connect" for the past month

I have not been able to connect to my home wifi for the past month. It keeps popping up saying that it is unable to connect. sometimes it will work, but only for 2 minutes tops. My roommate uses the same internet connection and she said that she has not had a problem with it. I have tried rebooting it, turning it on airplane mode then resetting network settings and rebooting it, forgetting the network, and even resetting my entire phone. nothing will work. but my phone connects to the wifi at work and works perfectly fine. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP

The router in 99.99% of the time may be fine and see and connect to the devices it detects. However after certain updates to phones it has been said that the phone will not connect to the router.
There was a list of known routers on this forum that just did not work. The so!ution was to either reset the broadband modem, wireless router and turn off the phone.
Then if it connects your problem is solved. If it doesn't your next step is to see if there are firmware updates for the modem and the router. (Mainly routers) if it still does not connect a new router not on the non working list should be purchased. Yes its another expense but if you want the device to connect that is your option.
Another trick you can use is to change the security from WEP to WPA, PSK or WPA 2 and change the password to the router.
Some people stated a password of at least 9 figures / digits worked great.
If you placed the phone on its own IP address that also has been known to work.
However its best to talk to tech support at the router maker to assist.
    Good Luck

  • Ideapad S10-3T WIFI 'Unable to Connect' error

I am unable to connect wirelessly.  My connection has been detected, but I receive the error "Unable to Connect". Wirelessly connectivity worked previously with on this netbook.  I lent this to somone during their deployment and have not been able to connect since it was returned to me. This device can connect when hardwired.
All other devices in the home can connect wirelessly.
The password has  been verified as correct.  The Wireless Device Setting is confirmed ON.
    Security: WPA-PSK
Network Adapter - Atheros AR9285 driver is updated.  Device status "This device is working properly" and is enabled.
I have read through other posts on this site and have not been able to find a solution.  Any ideas? I am outside of the warranty period.
    Thanks!!

Iphone 4s wont connect to my internet when i try to connect i enter password in and it comes up with 'unable to connect' ive tryed reseting router, reseting network settings on iphone. HELP!

The fastest way to deal with your iPhone saying "unable to connect to network" is knowing the name of you network (SSID) and password. Go to settings>network>other and put in the name and password.
