Not unless you've got accidental damage cover on it with Apple and I don't think that's even covered with Applecare - if you have that then check with them directly.
Otherwise you may need to see if you can claim for it under your house contents insurance.

I have recently got a ipad 2 Christmas of 2012 and if was fine all day and I got a shower and I got out and I looked at my ipad it was fine I went into my room and layer it down and when I went to go pick it up it was cracked down the middle :( will apple cover this ? I dropped my ipod by accident and i decided to repair the ipod myself by buying a screen off eBay. I replaced the the screen and everything was working when i tested the iPod before screwing the backplate back on. When i closed the iPod, it had a white screen when i power up. I held the power and home button for 30 second and nothing happens. Apple does not repair iPads. They will issue a replacement. But a screen does not break on its own. If you caused the damage to the device, you will have to pay for a replacement

I purchased an ipad from someone and i set up my apple id for it but when i go to the app Store to update apps, i click on the update button for an app, the previous owners' apple Id username appears and it won't take my apple id password. How do I replace their username w/ mine? It doesn't give me an option... Help! Please!

You can probably change the ID in the "iTunes and App stores" settings on the iPad....click on the wrong account ID , select sign out, then log in with your own ID, I have not done this but I think it works.....

I updated an iPod touch, an iPad 2, and an iPhone 4 to iOS 6, and all of them now will not connect to WiFi. They all give this wierd 404 error page from Apple and insist that I need to login to the network. What's the fix? None of the recommended fixes work in any of these devices. Reset device, reset network, renew lease, etc. None of them work.
Does the iPod work OK?
Does it charge when connect to the computer?
Does it appear in My Computer?
Look at the dock connector on the iPod. Compare with the iPod that does work/connect.
I suspect you have a 2G iPod. Those can only go to iOS 4.2.1

No, it won't do anything to the hard disk.
You need to go to the disk tab on the airport utility.. and erase the drive.. if the drive doesn't show up it is dead and not an issue.. Also Apple are careful to destroy data left on drives.. It might be hard to trust them.. but I think they are careful.. mind you if you have your account numbers for your multi-million dollar accounts.. then use an axe and forget the warranty. -
