Ask your friend to supply you the DVD as a data DVD using either DV or AIC as the video format, burning the DVD as a DVD for a DVD player will degrade the video quality.

You will have to legally unlock your iPhone with the carrier you are currently on. Then you will have to buy a SIM card from a carrier in Germany to use the 3G/4G network available.

I am looking to purchase a 3G iPad for use in Ecuador, I live in Canada and would purchase it in Canada. When I was in Ecuador last time my iPhone was useless, it would not connect to any WiFi or 3G networks, I am sure it would have if it had of been unlocked and a Sim card from Ecuador inserted. Would the iPad be the same? Will the iPad have access to local WiFi networks in Ecuador.
I have the same issue as I am from Canada and I am currently in Ecuador. I bought the iPad Model A1396 and I was looking for a carrier that can provide me with internet. But there are mostly two providers Movistar and Claro (Porta) but do they offer the micro-sim. I know they have USB keys for internet connection, but they are regular SIM cards..what if they don't offer the micro-sim??

When will the ability to transfer seamlessly between apple Tvs be available? I want to be able to move from one room with an Apple TV to the other, and easily transfer a movie or tv show.
No one here can answer the question (if or when that might happen). We are users here and do not speak for Apple. In fact, it violates the TOU to speculate about future Apple plans.

First, I know my machine will handle Mavericks, that's not my question. What I want to know is:
If I have Lion now, will I be able to upgrade from Lion to Mavericks for the Mavericks price quoted, or will I have to upgrade to Mt. Lion and then Mavericks? I was going to upgrade to Mt. Lion right about now, but don't want to pay for two upgrades within 3 or 4 months if I don't have to.If everything goes like in Mountain Lion, you should be able to upgrade to Mavericks from any OS X version with the App Store: Snow Leopard, Lion and Mountain Lion, always that your MacBook Pro is supported, thing that we don't know yet until Apple releases the requirements. Note that this may change with the final version

Your problem will be that AppleTV only has HDMI and optical output - no analogue out so unless say you had a B&W Zeppelin or similar that has optical in you'd need something esle to decode the audio to ananlogue.
Some have also reported AppleTV not working for audio when TV is off or in standby.
You may be better off having both!

What do you mean by subscription? If you mean 3/4G with GPS, then no. The iPad hardware can't be upgraded.
iOS 6 will not be available until Oct-Nov 2012.

You can connect the iPad to your Mac's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases, that should copy it over to the Movies part of your library.
Depending upon what country that you are in, and whether the film studio allows it, you might also be able to re-download it on your Mac via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page. -
I just bought a new computer. My old computer was a 32bit system but my new one is a 64bit. I own ps cs6. My question is"will I be able to deactivate ps on my old system, and download the 64 bit version and install and activate it or do I have to buy the 64bit version in order to move forward.
Nope, you can install it on your new computer with no issues. The disc contains both the 32 and 64 bit versions.

Thank youWifi is wifi (generally) and you should be able to take your american bought device (presuming that's what you mean) to europe and get it online.
The biggest issue you may face is to make sure you have a plug adapter. Your power brick is rated for world wide power variances you'll just need an adapter to make the plug fit eurpoean plugs.
