Does Siri work in Puerto Rico using english?

Siri can be activated in any country and can understand
English (United States, United Kingdom, Australia)
    French (France)
    German (Germany)
    Japanese (Japan)
However, some features might not work if you're not in one of those countries

  • Will an iPhone 3GS work in iCloud?

Will my iPhone 3GS work with iCloud? I realize I need OS5 on the phone to get the fancy stuff but will all the syncing still work with the calendar, addresses, notes and such?

icloud is part of iOS5 which runs on the 3GS ( not on the 3G ), so everything in iCloud will work.
To be able to sync between other devices, they must all run also iOS5 and for a Mac 10.7.2 Lion. PCs with XP wont work as Vista is needed.
So if you have Macs that can't run Lion, PCs that don't have Vista/Win7  with Outlook07 / 10 or iOS devices that can't run version5 these will no longer sync with the iOS5 3GS.

  • Will my iphone gps work in a foreign country

Will my iphone gps work in Italy and France?

    Yes.
The iPhone uses A-GPS or assisted GPS which is to speed up the initial GPS acquisition from a cold start, but the iPhone includes a dedicated GPS receiver.

  • IPhone is available to work in PUERTO RICO?

I'm interest to buy an iphone to domicile it in P.R. Do it will work properly?. AT&T has already excellent coverage but the stores cannot sold or activate with area code of Puerto Rico. My doubt is that if I can activate it in US and bring it to Puerto Rico, it was working ok?. And if when AT&T could activate numbers with area code 787(PR),if it will be possible to change the number that had of US the PR one that I'm already use?

I activated mine from Oklahoma to use it in PR. There
aren't any long distance/roaming charges since
National plans include PR and US Virgin Islands in
AT&T's coverage area. You can even activate it from
PR provided you have an US address (friend or
family), as soon it is activated you can change the
address back to a local one as I did. However you
won't be able to change the area code to 787 'til the
iPhone is released in the island. Im back in the
island and I'm happy with my 918 area code until
    then...tirame un email y hablamos...
    Saludos,

  • Will my phone work in puerto rico

planning a trip to puerto rico in April wondering if my phone will work?

It would help if you mentioned which phone you have. The info provided by Tanisha is not bad but you will need to know what bands the phone has and if it is compatible with Puerto Rican carriers. They usually operate on different bands.
A really good resource is http://www.willmyphonework.net/
You can plug your device there and choose the country and carrier. It'll tell you if it will work and on which networks (2G, 3G, etc.)

  • America's top number one wireless service...does not work in Puerto Rico

Please come back to Puerto Rico. I have been a member for over ten years. I live in Ohio  and will have to relocate to Puerto Rico.  My daughter is enrolled in college to become a school teacher in Puerto Rico. My family plan is not working well in Puerto Rico. I am paying for a family plan, (here in Ohio) and my daughter has two phones in Puerto Rico. They are not working. I had called Verizon Support, and was told that the phones must be mailed back to (Ohio)  me here in the states to be reactivated. Verizon phones cannot be activated in Puerto Rico. I prefer only Verizon, which is why I have not switched to any other provider. But, because Verizon does not have towers or businesses in Puerto Rico, even though we have 4G phones, we now have no service in Puerto Rico.   I am stuck with the choices of AT&T, T-Mobile, or Straight Talk from Wal-Mart, or the WORSE are the wireless and Internet services of Puerto Rico, Claro.. Claro has outages for DAYS and still expect full payment, regardless of how many days lost for service. Claro does not credit your account even if you had an outage for a week; you are still billed for the full month.  It is difficult to avoid this company in Puerto Rico. This is a message to CEO of Verizon...please bring your business back to Puerto Rico. When people asked my daughter what service she uses, they were excited when she said that she uses Verizon. But were disappointed when she said that her account is back in (Ohio) the states, there are no stores here. I have to send (AGAIN) two new phones activated here in the states back to Puerto Rico, so that my daughter can still use our Verizon Family Plan. There is nothing Verizon Support can do.  Once I move to Puerto Rico, there will be no one to send our phones to in (Ohio) the states to reactivate for our Verizon Family Plan. The phone service works for about three or four months, (in Ohio) than there is no service at all. Please bring America's top number wireless service back to Puerto Rico. Or Make some kind of deal with the wireless tower owners in Puerto Rico, so people that even visit Puerto Rico can use your phone service. Thank you for reading my request

Our home line has had no dial tone for two days now.  When a repair was requested, we received a commitment of 8/8.  That timing was not sufficient.  I updated the repair request on line indicating that we needed the repair by today.  I called this morning and a recording told me that Verizon was committed to repair the phone by 8pm tonight.  Well, 9:30pm and no Verizon.  I tried calling with my cell phone and sat on the phone for over 30 minutes.  Either no one was home or it was past business hours.  In any event, here we sit with no home phone service.  We are elderly.  My husband has a heart condition.  I am grateful for our cell phones, not Verizon.  What if we had a real emergency and didn't have cell phones?  This is not customer service.  We never even received a phone call or an email as we requested on the repair status.  So sit another day or maybe more.  Frustrated in NJ.  P.S. Our experience with My Verizon is it sends you round and round and round with no real solution to your problem.  Any suggestions? Thanks.

  • Will my iPhone 5 work in Europe?

Will my iPhone five in Norway?

What model number does you iPhone have? Check Settings > General > About and look for model. If it says A1533 or A1457 or A1530 you iPhone is a GSM model which should work in Europe with european carriers but to be absolutley sure you should ask the carrier you want to use in Europe.

  • Will old iPhone charger work on iPad

While the new iPhone 3GS chargers are 5 watts I think, we still have a spare charger for the original iPhone which says it's 10 watts. So would the old iPhone charger work fine on the iPad?
They look very similar. The only difference is the old iPhone chargers say 10 watts and 5 volts while the iPad chargers say 10 watts and 5.1 volts.

I understand that the new iPhone 3GS charger, which is 5 watts, will charge the iPad slower, but wouldn't original iPhone charger, which is 10 watts, charge it just as fast as the iPad charger?

  • Will the iPhone 5 work with existing USB car chargers?

    Just curious (and maybe stupid).

"4G" is a marketing term, not a technical term.
The iPhone 5 can operate on any compatible HSPA+ network anywhere in the world. HSPA+ is defined by the ITU as "4G" and is marketed as such by many carriers. The only iPhones I'm aware of that display "4G" in the status bar are those originally intended for AT&T in the U.S.
LTE is also defined as "4G" and is marketed as such by pretty much every carrier that has an LTE network. When connected to an LTE network, "LTE" should appear in the status bar.
The frequencies used for LTE networks vary from region to region across the globe. In order to use an available LTE network, the phone you're using must have been sold to work in your region.
Apple doesn't have to "enable" anything for it to work. All you need is a phone that's compatible with your network, and a plan that allows for LTE data.
If you purchased the phone from another region, the U.S. for example, it will NOT work on the LTE netwok in your part of the world.

    will it work in india?

Apple retail stores in Canada do sell officially unlocked iPhones. However, they may not have the iPhone 5, officially unlocked, in stock. But they do sell them. Be very careful, Apple retail stores sell both at full price, officially unlocked & carrier locked without contract. If your receipt has any carrier name listed or the phone comes with a sim card, it is not officially unlocked.

  • Will an iPhone still work in 100 years?  Seriously!

We are laying a cornerstone for our church in June and want to store a device on which we can record some video and documents. I have an old iPhone 3G that I think would be perfect. The only question is, will it still work when the cornerstone is opened in 2111? If we seal it in an airtight container and include a charger with instructions to charge first, will it work? Assuming we still have 110 electricity in 100 years!

yes, we realize a cornerstone is not a very good place to store something for 100 years. This stone already had something in it from 1911, a Bible and a 3 page letter. The Bible was in very poor condition and the only thing that could be read on the letter is the pre-printed letterhead--all of the writing had disappeared! And we had 3 TV news crews covering it--where was Geraldo when we needed him? So I suppose another option would be a sort of treasure hunt--place something in the cornerstone that would lead folk to some secret location inside the building with the time capsule. Still would be fun if it were an iPhone as the icon for our age!

  • Will my iPhone 5s work in Belgium if I bought it as a T-Mobile contract-free one?

I'm planning to buy an iPhone in the States, but I have to make shure it works with my local carrier.
    Anyone who can help me?

First you will get no warranty ,the warranty is not international nor is post warranty support. For service the device would have to be returned to US store in person to get warranty support There is NO mail or courier in from outside the US
There are posts where users  have purchased the T-mobile 5S from an Apple Store expecting it to be unlocked only to find it is locked "for first40 days "
    so who knows
Theory says it will not work on LTE outside USA as the set of LTE bands is different yet some claim it may
    so who knows
Apple made the new iPhones avaiilable today 25th in Belgium ,take the "IF" out of wasting your money and buy in Belgium
