Will there ever be an update from IOS 5.1.1 for an iPad 1 ?

I had an an iPad 3g( I know it's very old ) which is running on iOS 5.1.1 . And I always wish for an update.
Will there ever be one.Its not of much use but still an update could make it better.

Yes. If you have an iPad 3rd Generation you can upgrade to iOS 6.x.x. If you have a first generation, then no.

Confirming that there will absolutely not be any hi DPI updates for InDesign 8 (CS6) either for Mac or Windows. As Peter indicated, this support was part of a massive code rewrite that went into InDesign 9 (CC) to support 64-bit versions of InDesign and the transition from the so-called Carbon to Cocoa programming frameworks on MacOS.

Very doubtful - Apple don't want it (http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/) and Adobe have never managed to make it for iOS and they've now given up on it.
There are browser apps such as Skyfire, iSwifter Puffin and Photon which 'work' on some sites, but judging by their reviews not all sites. Also some websites, especially news sites, have their own apps in the App Store, and there is the built-in YouTube app for that site.

Well the current driver is quite old and I failed in modding the current Switchable Graphics driver to include new drivers.

I don't think there will be for Vista; it doesn't support heterogeneous adapters, and the Vista package uses an AMD proprietary driver wrapper which I doubt will see further update.
For us on Windows 7, we're able to apply the latest Catalyst drivers with good results. (11.4 is FAST.)

Still can't go back after I compose a message to correct flagged mispelled words because the red underline will dissapear as soon as you continue typing.
And now a bug I've noticed quite often, if I go to send feedback through an app on my phone, and it opens up the ios email program....I'll be typing a message out in landscape mode, and my texts will disappear about 3/4 the way across the screen! It's still typing words, but I just can't see anything!
And I've tried all the resets, and even reloaded my phone from the scratch.....a process that took a ton of time and frustration, and yet still did not solve any of my problems.

As you're already familiar with LaTeX:
Try "LaTeXit!".
It's freeware and does a pretty good job.
(Especially, when you assign a shortcut, that processes the selected text through "LaTeXit!").
However:
Be aware, that you won't get numbering of equations as you are used to from LaTeX.
Another problem is, that the equation will be embedded into your document as a pdf - hence it's not editable.
In the first to versions of iWork, there was a possibility to bypass this by using "LinkBack" - at least in Keynote (you have to install a plugin to do that - I don't have any clue, if it's compatible with the new Keynote as well).

Will there ever be an update to Microsoft Messenger?

I know on Windows there is the new Windows Live Messenger. I just would like to know if there will be an update to Microsoft Messenger for Mac anytime soon. I hate the fact Mac users are limited to no webcam or audio or games. I know there are programs like Mercury Messenger and Adium but I just don't like using them. I know last summer they relesed a major update for Mac, but now with the new Windows Live on Windows, should we expect a new Mac update?

Will there ever be an update to fix the weak signal?

Hello! I am one of those galaxy nexus owners who absolutely love the phone but HATE the weak signal...
When I am in an open area, I seem to get pretty good reception on my phone, but everything changes when I go inside a building! I get HORRIBLE reception inside buildings (like my house and work), which causes my phone to slightly heat up and drain battery very quickly. I am tired of having to turn on airplane mode in these situations to conserve battery! I can confidently say that it is the phone, not the area, that causes the weak signal because my friends who have Verizon iPhones get 2-3 bars of 3G when I have ZERO bars...
I have tried almost everything to improve signal (restart phone, take out battery and sim card, allow CDMA only, etc.) , and nothing seems to have worked!!! My sister, who also has a galaxy nexus, has the same problems as I do, so I doubt a replacement phone/sim card would be any help.
Does anyone know if Verizon/Google/Samsung will be releasing an update to improve signal for this phone?

I'm having these problems as well. I keep thinking the next software update will fix it, but it hasn't. At least not fully. I was with my wife on a road trip over Thanksgiving weekend and took some comparison screenshots of both phones. As you'll see in these screenshots, the Galaxy Nexus barely has a bar of 3G, while the iPhone boast full strength. Yes, I know that bars are only a visual representation, but it's hard to get DBM information on the iPhone. I can tell you the Galaxy Nexus couldn't even load a mobile friendly web-site, while the iPhone did. Here I avoided the iPhone 4S because of "signal issues". A lot of good that did me. Thoughts Verizon? Replacement SIM cards don't fix the issue.

Will there ever be an update where I can have a personalized wallpaper on the clock screen on the iPod Nano 6th Gen?

I LOVE using my 6th Gen iPod Nano as a watch, but I'd love to be able to change the watch face to be customized with a picture from my album. It would be like having a personalized watch for any occasion. Is there any plans in the works to make this happen?
Having the watch be digital would be nice too.

Dreamweaver CS4 and Win7--Will There Ever Be An Update?

Since getting a new computer last November and having to use Windows 7 64 bit (which I hate), Dreamweaver CS4 will not show the properties at the bottom of the screen without it being cut off. Many of the features that are needed cannot be accessed at all because they are hiding below a solid panel.
The Microsoft Win7 compatibility site mentioned some time ago that Adobe was working on a fix for this. Where is it or is this going to be another Adobe fix that requires an upgrade which is usually the case? Anyone else have this problem?

As if I'm not already going blind. I had to set it to 100% because Windows 7 will not let me go below that even if you uncheck the box that says something about Windows XP.
Thanks, but this is no solution except if I change it every time I use Dreamweaver. I guess maybe Adobe will get their act together by the next version otherwise I'll find a better program.

Hey Vle045, It's not looking to good for an iPod 6, this wouldn't be the first time Apple let a model quietly fade away. But I could be wrong. The current iPod model is the now dated iPod 5, as you well know. Apple appears to be sinking it's time and money into iPhones and iPads. I guess if you want the latest and greatest look at the phones and the new iPads. It could be a long wait for a new iPod. Hope this helps, Cheers.

New IPod Touch will not sync with Itunes-updated to iOS 7.1.1 for new IPod

Just purchased new IPod Touch (purchased 6-3-14 - had a Classic until it fried). After setting it up, I tried to sync to ITunes and it says it syncs but does nothing. No music transferred to IPod. I have a MacBook Pro running OS X 10.6.8 if that means anything. This is very frustrating as I am not a computer whiz and really want to use my IPod in my really long commutes to work. Thanks for any insight...

Welcome to Apple Support Communities!
It sounds like your iPod touch is recognized and syncing, but it isn't transferring the content that you expect to be transferred. Take a look at the article linked below, it will show you how to select the iPhone in iTunes and where the tabs are (second picture) that control what is synced to the iPod.

Open iTunes.

Some tabs may not appear if you don't have the corresponding content in your library. For example, if you don't have any podcasts in your library, the Podcast tab won't appear.

Are all the iPads you mention the same model, including cellular vs. Wi-Fi only? If so, then yes you can update all of them with the same download.
However, if they are different models, then you'll have to download the update file for each different model number.

Will there ever be an search engine in AppleTV like Safari?

Will there ever be an update for the AppleTV 2G to host an Internet browser such as Safari and capable of holding apps?

ATV is not meant to be an internet tv. It is a media hub. Airplay will open the possibilities, but I don't see any native browser support coming to it.
