  • I::001 Win32 error 2 while using document bapi methods

    Dear colleagues,
I'm using SAP .NET Connector for integration between .NET application and SAP System.
When I try to work with standard document bapi methods like BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE (with defined filepath for a document in file table parameter), BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHECKIN or BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHECKOUTVIEW, I get an error in out RETURN parameter - "I::001 Win32 error 2: The system cannot find the file spe".
When file path is not defined in BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE everything works OK and information about the document successfully appears in SAP system.
When I test BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE or BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHECKOUTVIEW in SAP GUI with same parameters, RETURN parameter shows no errors.
Does anybody know what can be a reason of this problem? Please, help if you know how to solve this issue.
If this forum is not a right place for such question. please tell me, where I can get any information about this issue.
    Best regards,
    Andrey Kim

Hello, Yann ) Of course, I can find another way, but for a few reasons I need to use these standard bapi methods for checkin and checkout documents. I want to investigate, what am I doing wrong here)
I've found the reason of this stupid error - I just didn't know SAPHTTP.exe and SAPFTP.exe files should be copied to system32 or application's bin folder. After doing that this error disappeared.
But then I've got another error, which was exactly described in https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/885058
I receive an error message from SAP when I'm trying to call bapi_document_checkin or bapi_document_checkoutview methods.
I've copied last versions of librfc32.dll, librfc32u.dll and ICU libraries to my windows\system32 folder and to my application's bin folder also, but I still receive the same error message
I didn't work with SAP before, so that is my first experience. Can anybody help or explain, what exactly should I do with RFC and ICU libraries to avoid this error?
Is it necessary that rfc libs' versions on my client machine were the same as rfc lib's on the machine with SAP system?
I'll be grateful for any assistance in this question.

  • Win32 error: 3 The system cannot find the path specified

I am trying to copy important folders from T420 (Win 7 64) to external hard drive and I am sporadically getting " Win32 error: 3 The system cannot find the path specified" for certain files, as well as an error when windows is reporting that the file name is too long, which is probably not the case (the longest ones with spaces are about 70 characters).
What is the issue and how to solve it (how to copy/backup these folders to external hard drive)?
    Many thanks

I had a similar issue -  couldn't make any files available offline.
I found that the offline folder service would not start
This was because the CSC permission were totally screwed.  I had to take ownership of each folder and file, one by one, then grant everyone full access.
then delete the full contents of the CSC folder
format the CSC database using the registry fix then reboot
in control panel, disable the offline files,  reboot, then re-enable.  and now its working :)
2hrs to resolve this, with grateful thanks to this thread and some others.

  • Issues distributing packages and receiving Win32 Error = 0

Within the last month or so, we've been experiencing issues distributing various packages to our DP's. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it; it can be any combination of packages and DP's.
We've noticed that just before the Win32 error occurs, the following 4 lines usually precede the error:
    UpdateStagedFile failed; 0x80070040
    UpdateStagedFolderRdc failed; 0x80070040
    UpdateStagedFolderRdc failed; 0x80070040
    UpdateStagedFolderRdcW failed; 0x80070040
We've had an open ticket with MS for over a week now, but there hasn't been any progress.
Any light you guys could shed on this would be greatly appreciated!

  • Adprep encountered a Win32 error

    Hi,
In addition, if the user account you are using is a member of many nested groups, the problem may occur due to token size. In this case, you may choose to create a new account in Active Directory Users and computers, make the new account a member of the
Domain Admins, Enterprise Admins, and Schema Admin groups only, logon to the Schema Master as that account and rerun the Adprep /ForestPrep command.

  • Getting a Win32 Error Code 1157

During my distribution of the TestStand engine and my application I get an Win32 Error code of 1157. The information says that it could not load my applications DLL because it could not find another DLL that is required in order to load mine. I tried this distribution on two other machines and they don't have this problem. I am running TestStand 2.0.1 and MeasurementStudio 6.0. I have had this problem before and called NI support about it and was not able to get a concise answer to the problem. Who ever I talked to then suggested that it could be the problem that is posted in the TS2.0.1 Readme file about the error when it can't find the OBJ file, but this is a different error code and this pertains to a DLL. Has anybody seen this p
    roblem? Can anybody help?

You can't sign it because photoshop.com is dead and gone, and any photos there are moved to revel, which you can't access through PSE versions prior to PSE 11. You should have received a bunch of emails about this back when it was happening.

  • When trying to install, get a Win32 Error

I have tried to find a solution to this but all I have found are a lot of unanswered message board questions. lol I just got an iPod Nano but when trying to install iTunes, I get the following error after trying to run the setup.
    C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\######\iTunesSetup.exe is not a valid Win32 application.
The ###s are a file name that is random, as I simply tried to run, not save it. I tried to save the file to the desktop, but it gave me the same error, just replaced the #s to "Desktop" and so on.
Can anyone direct me in resolving this issue? If it helps, I am using AOL to browse.
      Windows XP Pro

Well a invalid Win32 to be honest is never good, its kinda a hit and miss on fixing it.
Sometimes doing simple things fix it, other times the user has to create a whole new user profile and delete the one they currently have.
If your on Dail up, try using a download manager to get itunes, as mentioned above on dail up with itunes being so big it tends to get corrupted easy during download
First try reinstalling the windows installer from microsoft at this site (For WIndows 2000 SP3 and up/ Windows XP) http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=889482fc-5f56-4a38-b838 -de776fd4138c&DisplayLang=en
Then disable your antivirus/security programs and try downloading AND SAVING the itunes program thru another browser like Internet explorer or firefox, something else besides AOL browser. Once the download is finished goto where you saved it and double click it to install

  • Win32 error.....nothing is working.

I had an older version of iTunes installed which worked fine, but I got the 80g iPod so I needed to upgrade iTunes. I have been trying for 2 days to get it to work with no luck. I have done everything the support page said to do with no results. Everytime the file is about 50% loaded it says the publisher cannot be verified, I hit continue and it gives me the message: c:\users\owner\Desktop\iTunes743Setup.exe is not a valid Win32 application.
I am currently deployed to Afghanistan, so I have limited resources, and a connection speed that resembles dial-up at best. So, after waiting forever only to have another error, I am quite frustrated. Is it possible to copy the steup file from another computer and load it off a disk? That would save tons of download time. If anyone has any ideas they would be much appreciated since I no longer have any version of iTunes and no way to put music on the iPod now. Thanks.

If you can download the setup file successfully on another PC, it is fine to copy it to your PC via a CD or what ever is convienient. I would copy it to your desktop and run it from there as you were attempting to do with the download.
There are a few other things, but it is probably best to get a good download to see if that works first.

i have a Dell laptop running Mozilla and Windows 7.  Ive had a previous version of iTunes that just went away somehow and now when I try and download the latest version I'm having these problems.  Ive tried unistalling in the order Apple suggests and also reinstalled using both Mozilla and Internet Explorer.  Ive gone 2 months without my iTunes and it is killing me.  I've tried everything I've found online to try including updating Windows and deleting Data Stores and Windows services.  Please help and give detailed instructions if you can.  Thanks so very much in advance for responses.

Make sure you backup prior to following the steps below:
I'd recommend uninstalling iTunes on your PC, restarting if recommended, then going to the Start button and typing Regedit and searching for anything which mentions iTunes and deleting any mention of it from your Registry as it sounds like something from a previous version of iTunes is still hanging around in your Registry, however be very careful not to delete anything else as this could result in serious issues for you computer.
Once done and all entries for iTunes are deleted from the Registry, check C:\program files or where iTunes was installed and delete the iTunes folder if still present.
Then go here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/ and download iTunes.
    Good luck,
    Steve

  • Acrobat Reader Download - Win32 Error

I'm attempting to download the latest version of Reader and I've run into a few problems:
    1. The downloaded file is only 168 kb
    2. It downloads without an extension
    3. When I click to install the file (install_reader10_en_air_mssd_aih), I get an error message that says it is "not a valid win32 application".
Oddly enough, there is a shortcut in my start menu for Reader X, but apparently it is just a shortcut. When I click on it, I get a message saying "This action is ony valid for products that are currently installed". I guess I had it installed at some point, and now I don't - and I can't think of any reason why I would have removed it. It is not in my list of currently installed software.
I've attempted the file download from Firefox and IE with the same result.
I've added the .exe extension to the file name
I do have Acrobat Professional 9 installed
    Thanks for the help!

Try downloading the installer from http://get.adobe.com/reader/direct/

  • Got an iPad, installing iTunes, Win32 error?

This is the error I'm getting:
An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VR.CRT,type="win32,version=8.0.50727.6195".publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a 1e18e3b",processorArchitecture="x86".Please refer to Help and Support for more information. HRESULT: 0x80070002
I click ok and it rolls back the action it did... Then it gets to the end of installation but interrups by saying: "Service Apple Mobile Device (Apple Mobile Device) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient system priviledges to start system services." And aborts the whole thing... :-(
Has anybody ever gotten this? If so, what should I do?
    Thanks!

  • Win32 error flash player

hi, i am new on this forum. i am having trouble installing adobe flash player onto windows vista. its giving me a trouble saying it's not a win32 application. is there a way to bypass this error?
    thanks

This message indicates that you most likely have a corrupted download. Download the offline installer
for Internet Explorer http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe (save to disk)
for all other browsers http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe (save to disk)
Close all browser windows, then run the appropriate installer(s).

  • Photoshop win32 Error!

    Hello my name is Brandon,
I have been trying to use photoshop for some artwork for class and it keeps crashing on me.  I am running windows 7, PS CS6.  Only after about a minute or less of working on my piece it will crash and an unhandled win32 exception occurred in photoshop.exe.  So I looked at some forums for solutions and I saw it may have been some settings in Visual Studio, which I never used, so I deleted it. Now, it just crashes and says I will be given a solution if one is found.  I need this to work so I can do my school work, somebody please help me out!

Try pressing Ctrl+Alt+Shift as you start Photoshop. Select "yes" when the clear preferences comes up
