WINDOW 8 STORE NOT WORKING!!! NEED TO UPDATE TO 8.1 PLZ HELP!!

Hi,
Every time i try to open the store it says it will not connect to the internet, even though i m conncted.
I've tried a million things and it still wont wrk. I dont ussually use the store but i just want Windows 8.1
Plz help!!!

Do we configure any proxy settings for Internet Connection? Did Windows Store work before?
Please first take a try with the
Apps troubleshooter, if this won't work, please follow the steps below to reset Windows store cache:
a) Press Windows key + X;
b) Select Search,
c) Type in WSReset.exe
d) Then right click on the Wsreset, select Run as administrator;
e) Restart the computer and check.

Cortana and windows store not working on 10049 (italian)

I don't understand if those features are supposed to work. Cortana is acrivated, I can ask questions but no reply at all. The windows store doesn't work either. Am I missing something?

You can try restoring the apps by attempting the following-
            • In the Search the Web and Windows, type PowerShell
            • Right click on PowerShell and select Run as administrator.
            • Type the following command: Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

Lenovo Miix 2 8 Windows Store not working

Hi,
I just purchased the Lenovo Miix 2, and having problems loading the windows store.
It would just sit on the green splash screen and the circle dot keeps rotating, but nothing happens.
Please help.

Right-click the start orb in 8.1 or the left bottom corner.
Then choose to run Command Prompt (As Administrator)
Next type 'WSReset.exe'
Restart and try again.

Mac OS X 10.8.3 Mail notification NOT WORKING ANYMORE!!!...PLZ HELP

After upgrading my os to 10.8.3 os x, my mail notification bubbles/alerts / right sie notification menu does not work....this is highly frustrating.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
More importantly, has anyone found the solution and is so kind as to offer the steps here?

Thanks for replying so quickly pal, but I actually seemed to have solved my own problem.
For anyone who has been having the same issue that I did, follow these steps:
1) go to your 'contacts' app and remove your email address from your own 'card'
(not sure if this is necessary) 2) remove apple id from user & preference profile

Ovi store not working after Anna update on N8

Hi,
I have successfully updated my N8 firmware to Anna including all s/w updates (mandatory as well as optional) and all the updates were successful.
However, now when I try to launch Ovi store, I just see the launch screen and the app closes automatically. I have tried hard reset, manual installation of ovi store but nothing worked for me.
Did anyone face a similar problem? Any ideas to fix this problem will be highly appreciated.

This solution worked for me:
>3-Button Hard Reset
NOTE:
*You will lose all data such as messages, contacts, notes, photos & videos etc., so please make a backup before you do this.
*All preinstalled applications will be removed, but after the update process you will have Quickoffice, Adobe Reader, Ovi Store, Ovi Maps, Ovi Music, Internet Radio, Shazam, Microsoft Communicator and a few others.
*You MUST have at least 75% battery.
>SW Update:
1. Symbian Anna 1/2
2. Symbian Anna 2/2
3. Ovi Store
4. NFC with free game
5. Social
(restart after every install)
Mine works perfect now, Anna icons and everything (C7-00, 059B7W4).
NOTE:
*When restoring data do not restore applications & settings as this may cause the problem to re-occur.

Usual windows 7 opening and closing of windows are not working with my updated Firefox 16.0.1

My Windows 7 automatically updated recently and so did Firefox. Now, with all other Windows applications including Internet Explorer, I can open a new window by right-clicking on the icon in the taskbar (showing there because the application is open), and when I right click, it gives me the option to close all windows. With Firefox, this also used to be the case, but since the update, when I right -click on the open Firefox in the taskbar, nothing happens. And when I tried to "pin" Firefox to the taskbar, even then, I cannot close all open windows just by right-clicking, and it is a longer procedure to open a new Firefox window. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated....

Itunes store not working properly after update 10.7

I just did the latest itunes update to 10.7 and initially itunes store seemed fine, I was browsing films and was able to view a trailer, but the screen changed and there were suddenly no images of fims or ability to view trailers and nothing happens when I click 'rent film'. I restarted both itunes and computer but it's still the same. The main itunes store screen is completely blank now, if I scoll right to the bottom I can click on 'films' then screen is black apart from right hand menu. And still not functioning. Would really welcome some help please! Thanks.

It seems maybe iTunes is being updated or there is an issue with 10.7 for some people not using Lion or Mountain Lion..? Wondered if it was a Snow Leopard thing but you're using 10.3.9 so that's not the issue. Wondering if it's just a UK thing...

Okay ... PC Tools has released an update for some LSP-related iTunes conflicts, so it might also be worth investigating that:

I have done everything I can in all discussions. Itunes store not working. I have Windows 7 , 64 bit.

I have read all the replies to the "Itunes store not working". I have done everything I can to use any of the solutions. This is my 5th day. I give up. Need some help. As I can see there seems to be a lot of those problems.

It's more than just uninstalling Itunes; there are 5 other apps that have to be uninstalled and in specific order. This particular Knowledge Base article applies to Windows Vista or Windows 7. For other Windows versions you'd have to look up the article for Windows XP.

After I updated, everything seemed ok and then all of the sudden I rebooted and only the f1 – f12 row would work. I resorted to resorted to unplugging and removing the battery and it would work for a short amount of time. This has been reported on other laptops as well, see here.

I think it can be solved with a driver update from hp or the keyboard builder but none is online.

I was at my friends house, everything was working fine. I went to my girlfriends house, everything was still working fine. Then once I got home, I got back out my 2010 MacBook Pro 15" to use and some pages on the internet looked a little odd. They were all in HTML format and wouldn't go back (Pages such as Skype and Apple's main page). I thought they were just down or being fixed up, but then I went to update my Mac under the App Store. I clicked the App store and a message popped up saying "App Store cannot verify a secure connection with the App Store." The options were "Cancel" or "Continue". I clicked "Continue" so I could update my Mac, but weird enough, the App Store started flickering (strobing; blinking) as seen in this video by someone with the same problem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=De8aQZccRvA
I do not know what to do or why this is happening, so help would be VERY nice.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
