Windows 7 and Elements 2.0?

Hello there! I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium and I'm dying to get my Elements 2.0 on this laptop, but it won't let me. Autoplay doesn't autoplay, which is fine, because when I go in and open it, it welcomes me, asks my language, then gives me an option to install Elements. When I click it, the computer thinks a bit, the waiting circle spins by the cursor, and then...nothing. I tried getting Windows to run setup.exe and autoplay.exe in compatibility mode but neither worked, and I can't find how to run the whole laptop in compatibility mode, though I've been told that doesn't work on Home Premium? Any help is greatly appreciated...I've tried Elements 3 and 5 and hated them both; I miss 2.0!! Thanks!

Tha same applies to pse 1 as far as the hard drive size needing to be 1 TB or smaller.
On windows 7 with ie 10, you would need to downgrade sorta speak to ie 9, install pse 1 and then upgrade back to ie 10.
You can do that by going to Turn Windows Features on or off and unchecking Internet Explorer 10.
Then after installing pse 1 go back and check Internet Explorer 10
There is really no need to unistall pse 1 from your other computer, since your allowed to have pse 1 on two of your own computers.

I have requirement like this . i have a standard print prog and custom form. i want add 2 to 3 extra windows in the form and i have to print some data. but how can v do this with out changing the print program. i know that to pick new fields through subroutines. but how can v call new windows and new text elements with out changing the print program.
usually in the print program we write as follows.
write_form
window = 'HEADER'
textelemtn = 'HEADER'
can we accomplish this one also through subroutines or any other way is there.
can any one pls suggest this.

u copy the standard print program and make custom program.
write your own codes in it.
assign this program in the place of standard print program.

If I choose to install Windows 7, how can I make sure that I am not loosing a lot of data and links when I install the new system?
Which files shoudl I back-up? to be able to use the same structure to identify and group pictures ?

W7 has a different system e.g it does not use the documents & settings structure used by XP so you may need to let Elements decide the structure or use a custom location. Make a backup from Organizer and then use the restore command in W7.

The note refers to PSE6 onwards but give it a try. Some people have got older versions to work on W7.

You used the data. Verizon can not see what it was sued for. However your phone can see whats apps used the data. go to settings-data usage- there will be a place that says data usage cycle. line the dates up with your cycle. then there will be a bar graph below that extend bother white bars one all the way to the left and one all the way to the right. after those are extended below that will be a list of apps, there should be one that used over 2 gb and that will show you what app used that data in her purse

Do you have the purchased serial number? What computer operating system?
If you purchased from Adobe direct, you can get download installation files from "My Orders" at the Adobe web site under your Adobe ID and Password (http://www.adobe.com).
Alternatively, you can use the following Adobe document with links to the downloads....

A Photoshop Elements license is good for both Mac and Windows so it should be just a matter of downloading the Mac version and using your current serial number to activate it.

Premiere Elements 13 Windows 8.1 (assumed 64 bit).
From what I have read, the Canon XF100 uses the MPEG2 Long GOP video compression, however it uses a MXF file extension (container/wrapper format).
Premiere Elements (any version) does not support MXF files.
Based on existing information, you would need to convert the MXF file to another format which is supported by Premiere Elements.
Apparently lots of the MXF converters available online.
Have you been there and done that?

Windows XP - Elements 1.0 and MPG files

When I add MPG file to the Media window in Elements and then double click on them they play perfectly including the audio. When I drag them to the Timeline the video plays but there is no audio. AVI files work perfectly.
Possible operator error.
Any help would be appreciated.

Windows 7 - Elements 8 and RAW

Download and install camera raw 6.2 which is the latest plug-in available for PSE8 - 6.3 is available only for PSE9 - but 6.2 will support the 550D.

I don't know if things have changed (I get the feeling they have as of late), but normally an Elements license can be applied to either platform, so you should be able to download the trial version for the Mac and use the serial number to activate it. If you have any problem you should be able to resolve it with customer spport thru chat.

Thanks Barbara and Michel, confirming that backup on from Elements 10 on Windows 7 and restore to Mac OSX albeit slow worked fine preserving stacks and tags.
Previous experience of upgrading Elements 5 to 10 on Windows lost all stacks which put me in the dog house with my wife who had spent a lot of time creating them.

In Windows 7 I mistakenly un-installed Adobe Application Manager and all applications (CS3E, CS5 and Elements 6) have disappeared from programs on the start menu

WIN7: Mistakenly un-installed Adobe Application Manager and now all Adobe apps (CS3, CS5 and Elements 6) have disappeared from the programs list in the start up menu.
CS5 Bridge is still there so I can get into the photo editor to de-activate it and re-install.
However, all of CS3 has disappeared so I cannot get into it to de-activate.
Question 1: Will downloading and re-installing Adobe Application manager get CS3 automatically back?
Question 2: If not, what to do to get CS3 back things working properly again? Remember, I can't de-activate it.

Don't worry about activation unless you are installing on a new and different machine. Simply reinstall in order. It should all work.
Then install any updates. Product updates
After that, let me know how it went and if there are any further questions.
