Windows 7 will not install after formatting partition

i am currently trying to install windows 7 on my mac mini, I am running on OS X version 10.7.3 and have a Window 7 OEM system builder pack. When I get to the point in boot camp where I select the partition i get the standard notification can not be installed because it is not NTFS. I proceed as setup guide describes and click advance and format. When I click next another notification comes up and wont intall Window 7. I attempted a couple of hard shut downs only to get to same screen. Unable to capture screen and post. Any thoughts out there, I can only think this system builder pack is not a full version however it say to be used on new CPU's. my thought new partition = new CPU?????

I had removed the Windows 7 partition and just went back through my original steps to get the error message. I have a mac mini with one 400gb drive. I partitioned the drive and gave windows 7 100gb. After formatting the drive and clicking next, I get this message "Setup was unable to create a new partition or locate an existing partition. See the setup log files for more information." This is were my ability to problem shoot ceases.

My iMovie 9 will not install after formatting hard drive and installing Mavericks what are my options?

I have not used my iMovie ever since I formatted my Hard Drive and installed Mavericks. I went to put the disk in from when ilife was originally shipped with the computer and it just spits the disk right back out of the superdrive. Is there anything I can do to not have it just spit a disk out without asking for user input. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I don't want to buy the new version.

Here are the original specs of your computer. The specs state that the original hard drive was 320GB. You have since replaced the factory drive with a 1TB (1000GB) hard drive. The HP recovery routine seems to have issues with hard drives that deviate from the original size. The partition issues you are experiencing may be a result of this. As for the rest of your issues, it sounds like the SP3 install went bad.
If I were you, I would consider reinstalling the OS using your recovery discs by doing a complete "destructive" reinstall/recovery. Afterward, I would post the size of both the c: and d: partitions... and go from there.

Premiere Pro CS5.5.2 will not install after motherboard replacement ?

Premiere Pro CS5.5.2 will not install after mothboard replacement .It was running correctly for 4 weeks prior to replacement due to AC connection issues and Wireless connectivity.
Adobe Case No. 183519673, Adobe Technicians (Asia/Pacific) have worked on this issue for over 3 hours with no results after uninstalling and reinstalling.
Any ideas to fix issue wou;ld be appreciated.

Thanks for your response. I have previously reviewed this. The only potential problem it seems to resolve is having 2 versions of Shockwave installed. I only have one. The only thing I can think of to do is just uninstall the one version and see if it will trigger an installation. When I go to the Flash install site, I agree to the terms and get the next screen that says download will start. I never get a message asking if it's ok to run or anything. No matter where I look for a download for Flash I wind up at the same place with the same problem. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Ok so here's what you gonna do. (had this problem myself today, and after some fiddling figured out what to do.)
Find your old iPhoto with a cross through it, right-click it and select 'show package contents'. A folder will open. In that folder go to Contents>MacOS and there will be three little things there. Click on the one called 'iPhoto' and terminal will open. Leave terminal open and wait four seconds and VOILA! iPhoto opens. Leave terminal open until you are finished with iPhoto, because if you close terminal, iPhoto will close with it. THX! ENJOY! Hope it works.
P.S.
You can close terminal once you close iPhoto. I also suggest backing up your iPhoto library while you can.

You need the driver. It is a Synaptics Touchpad and you can use this driver:

The touchpad is hard because Windows does load a basic driver so it does not appear with an error in Device Manager, but the "real" driver is needed for advanced features like scrolling. Be sure you have all the needed Xp drivers, by the way.

Itunes will not install after removing itself.

a few months ago i turned my laptop on to find that itunes had uninstalled itself. so i went on to the software update which is downloaded onto my computer i tried to install itunes back, but it would get so far then not install. i have tried several times, also i have come online to download of here but it still has not worked. i have a windows 7 computer, fully updated. i have not been able to sync my ipod either. anyone else having this problem?

Let's try this.
Restart the PC. After the PC restarts don't open any other applications (other than Apple Software Update).
Launch Apple Software Update. Go into your Downloaded updates folder and doubleclick the iTunes64.msi. (Don't touch the setupadmin.exe at all.)
Does that iTunes install go through okay?

Desktop manager will not install after fresh download

i have downloaded ver 5 desktop manager several times and it is not able to install. I have completely un-uninstalled the previous software and deleted the regristry keys, RIM.
After downloading the new version of software (5.01) off of the BB website and extracting the files, it will ask to install in english and then my issue pops up: a windows installer window pops up, with information and no errors. then the installer closes. the installer closes out and will not continue.
the desktop manager software will not load and i have tried several different downloads, cleaned installs and i even tried ver 4.6.
ideas?

Try using the Windows Installer Cleanup utility to see if it helps out. Can read up on that and other things to try when Windows Installer gives errors from here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555175

Livetype will not install after erasing and re-installing Tiger

Hello,
I recently had to install a new hard drive, of which I partitioned, erased and installed OS X Tiger onto my PowerBook G4 15" (1.67/1.5 GHZ).
After all that, I tried re-installing FCP (5). The FCP part worked, but Livetype refused to be installed. So I searched for updates, and found an OSX Dual update, FCP update, and Livetype update, all of which were updated successfully. But Livetype will still not install for some reason.
Any ideas?

Sorry, should have been more articulate in my description.
During the installation of Livetype, after choosing the destination for livetype to be _Application support_ and starting the installation, the program goes up to 20% during the writing files procedure... and stops.
Says Please try install again.

Apple Mobile Device will not install after latest itunes update!!

Having a lot issues with trying to get AMDS to install after installing the iItune update, as such unless this can be installed itunes will not recognise my iphone.
This problem all started when I installed the latest update, everthing installed except apple mobile device, error message was " service apple mobile device failed to start verify that you have sufficent privileges to start system services. Have tried nurmerous uninstalls and reinstalls still no luck. Tried the advice on restarting according to apple support but the problem is that AMDS is no where to be seen in the "services" to try and restart it (you can't start it if it is not installed). Tried individual install using itunessetup.exe through Winrar (applemobiledevice.msi) still no luck, the installer goes through intially but then it "rolls back" and states an error has occured and it can't install it.
Running out of idea's and from looking at the threads there seems to be alot of people with the same problem, but no fixes as yet, is there anyone out there that can sort this issue, as it would be much appreciated.

Disc Image will not mount after format

I am trying to create a disc image from DVD Pro so that I can burn the final project at a low speed to avoid burn errors. Whenever I try to burn the image to DVD in Disc Utility it says that the file is not recognized. I have even tried to start the project from scratch and still am getting the same error message. Another weird thing that DVDSP is doing that is odd is when I am build and format, the log shows a ton of error messages saying that random files will not be included on the final DVD. Please help, I cannot figure oout what I am doing wrong.

These are standard wraning. Nothing to take care about.
After deleting the old build empty your trash and try again. If DVDSP ask to reuse, you must be building to another location than where you think. Check that.

Windows will not install under Mavericks

I am trying to install W7, again, under Mavericks and I cannot do so. Every thing seem to be installed but at start, I get a message that "BOOTMGR is missing, press ctl+alt+delete to restart", but the keyboard (wired and working) will not function so I can do nothing. I have tried more than once. I am trying to install W7 Home Premium and it is a legit disc. I installed the same disc under SN and all was fine.

Are you using Boot Camp, if so then please re-post in the Boot Camp forum. If you are using a virtualization app (Parallels, Fusion, etc) please post in that forum.
These are the best methods for installed Windows, this is a general iMac forum while there are a few people that post here that know MS Windows most are OS X oriented.
