Windows AD Auth - Logon to Infoview fail "java.lang.NullPointerException"
OS: Windows Server 2003
Java Application Server: Websphere 6.0.2.21
Product: BO XI R2 SP2
We are trying to setup the the Windows AD authentication.
I have tried to setup Windows AD authentication with SP1 (with websphere v6.0.2.21) before and I can login to Infoview with Windows AD Authentication successfully. But when I upgrade to SP2, the Infoview Login give me error "java.lang.NullPointerException".
The CMC Login works fine with both Enterprise Authentication and Windows AD Authentication.
Infoview Login works with Enterprise Authentication but not with Windows AD.
I have searched the KBase for the similar issue:

I have implemented the solution given by the articles, also asked IBM for help and still the problem persists.
The error I found on the log file is

HELP!
-oey-
It seems that SP2 of our product ran into some type of bug in WAS 6.0. I believe 6.1 resolves or see this KB for a fix.

Client 11gR2 install on Win 7 Pro fails java.lang.NullPointerException
I'm attempting to install the Oracle 11gR2 Client on a windows 7 professional (32 bit) system and the install is failing.
I've downloaded the latest client files from this web link:
http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/database/oracle11g/112010_win32soft.html
I launch the install with a user account that is a member of the local machine administrators.
A command window opens, the text says that the system passed the minimum resolution test and that it's preparing to launch the Oracle Universal Installer.
After about 10 seconds an application error window pops open that says java.lang.NullPointerException with an OK button. Pressing OK ends the install session.
This is a new Dell (E5400) laptop that has never been deployed. It has the latest java version (and updates) installed,
Does anyone have an idea on how I can resolve the install issue?
Thanks!

Hi Everyone,
I am trying to intergrate Dotnet DLL with coldfusion. The basic perpose of this DLL is putting value in cache.
My code is working fine on my local machine but it giving me problem on live server.
It is throwing "java.lang.NullPointerException" error.
Description of task:-
DLL:-
made in : Dotnet 3.0
Functions:-
setCache:- setting a string into cache.
getCache:- getting value from cache.
ClearCache:- Clearing all value from Cache.
Local Machine:-
OS: window server 2003
Coldfusion version :MX8
coldfusion Product level:-Developer
Result:-Task is working fine.No error what so ever.
Live server:-
OS: window server 2003
Coldfusion version :MX8
coldfusion Product level:-Standred
Result:-Task is throwing error "java.lang.NullPointerException"Thanks for your response, but surely if the .NET Services was not running how can CF instantiate and dump the object with all the correct methods?
Anyway for some strange reason there is no Coldfusion .NET service in my services control panel even though I am running CF8. I have since downloaded the .NET service installer, run it and done a restart but I can still see no such service and the error continues?
I am running CF8 Dev on IIS 6 – Window XP pro and here is debug

SOAP Receiver Adapter Error in XI RWB - java.lang.NULLPointerException
Hi,
We have a asynchronous scenario in SAP-XI, where we are sending the PO data from SRM to third party (Hubspan / TNT). Proxy is being used at Sender side and SOAP Adapter is used for Receiver Communication Channel.
u2022SRM is sending around 1000 messages through background job and around 995 or 996 messages are being processed successfully and showing the proper XML payload as well in RWB. But 4-5 messages are getting failed in XI RWB for u2018java.lang.NullPointerExceptionu2019. For these failed messages we are not able to see the XML payload as well in XI RWB while these messages are showing successful status in MONI in SRM and XI and we are able to see the payload as well in MONI. The webservice is restarting and trying to send the payload three times in RWB, but it is getting the same Nullexception error.

u2022If we are getting the payload from XI MONI for the failed message and doing a test with component monitoring in RWB, it is working fine.
Please help me to solve this issue.
Thanks
SumitHi Sumit,
From my experience, when you transfer SAP POs through PI to external webservice, there should be some validation happens at the webservice layer of the target system before the web service passes the original information to their application layer. The validation can be anything like checking the Vendor address, Checking the correctness of the order ...etc etc . So i would suggest to ask your external web service folks to check if they have any validation in place before they pass the data to their application layer.
As you said only some POs/XMLs are failing, i strongly feel that this could be the issue.
Please note if you receive response code other than 200 from webservice, SOAP adapter treats that as error and send the same message back to AE.
Normally webservices won't send 200 code for any validation error
PS: you can still try to use XMLSpy to post the failed message to the web service to know the exact cause. -
Java.lang.NullPointerException exception in SOAP Receiver adapter

Could any one can help me on this?
Thanks in advance.

SPNego fails: Error creating GSS context - java.lang.NullPointerException
Hi,
I have successfully configured SPNego logon to the first portal in our landscape, however, on the next portal I've got to the SPNego logon is failing.
When using the diagtool to analyse the problem tests 1-5 and 7 are passing successfully, however, test 6 is failing.
I am configuring against the following software components:
SAP J2EE - 7.00 SP13
Sun JDK version: 1.4.2_14
diagtool version 1.7.2
MS Active Directory is configured as the EP UME with resolution mode simple.
I believe the problem is in some way related to the authentication of the j2ee-<sid> user, however, I cannot narrow it down further. The password for this user has not changed since I generated the keytab file.
Any help greatly appreciated.
The following error is written to the diagtool trace file:

Acquire credential failed for realm EUR.EMIGRP.COMHello CJH,
Thank you for following up.
I will set the thread status to "assumed answered".
Cheers,
Julius -
When I create an EJB Transport Business Service, after selecting the jar that has the EJB 2.1 artefacts (Remote, Home, etc) the oepe plugin fails and can't continue.
As I understand it seems that there is a problem with the classpath of ant build.xml that oepe creates inside folder /tmp/alsbejbtransport/ to compile the bs and generate the wsdl. I checked if tools.jar is in the classpath (in eclipse) and is included, so I can't figure out wich is the problem.
I found this in Oracle, but not helps solve the problem:
BEA-398120
Error: The WSDL for the typed transport endpoint could not be accessed.
Description
There was a problem retrieving the WSDL from the typed transport service endpoint at the time of service registration
Action
Contact technical support
This is the the full stacktrace that shows eclipse.
Generate : Error during generation of the WSDL:

nullPretty much the same thing, Tomcat is the web server in CUCM, so that should have been sufficient.

Sharath.Let's say your Weblogic domain for Contract Management is located in
C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\cm, please first check if the com folder exists in the domain folder. If the folder not exists, you have to reinstall Contract Management using an administrative account. -

Hi,
since a few days, I'm getting this error message Servlet error: Renderer failed: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: oracle/um/webmail/util/OESAccess
if I click on the Administration TAB. When i use /um/admin/UMAdminLogin.uix I'm getting a "Resource Bundle not found error".
In the webclient, I do have everything except the send buttons.
Have absolutly no Idea where this comes from and how to fix it. Please helpI think would be better to post this topic in Development Forums. There are forums for this kind of topic.
