My device manager shows a problem with a device called "winter v1.3" Windows keeps trying to load a driver, but can't find one. Anyone know what "winter v1.3" is?

Neither creating a new iTunes Store account nor changing the country of an existing one will erase previously downloaded content.

OK.
Open the picture with the new scene. This will be your canvas.
Open the picture with object A, select it with one of the selection tools, go to Edit>copy
Go back to the new scene/canvas, Go to Edit>paste
Repeat for object B
Use the move tool to position A & B, each on its own layer. Use the corner handles of the bounding box to resize, if necessary
You should have 3 layers: Background layer, and the 2 layers with A & B
Note: It's best if the resolution of the 3 picture files is the same value.

I sure would appreciate help if someone knows a solution. My first post - hope I did this right.

if its anything like my Sony, theres a button top left corner that upon each press i get an audible bleep and the AV inputs come up on screen, i then cycle down to whichever input i wish to select!
in case your remote is different, the button on my remote has a square with a slightly smaller square just overlapping the first square.

I changed it because the original one I created an iCloud account with is a yahoo account email address and I am deleting my yahoo account for being compromised too may times.

Well, you can go to Manage your Apple ID and change the password if you can answer the Security Questions:
Apple - My Apple ID
If you cannot remember the Security Questions you can contact iTunes Support to reset them for you:
New iTunes Support - US and ww
Once you get your password reset and you can access your account info on Manage your Apple ID, you can change your ID. You won't be able to use the same email address that you are using for the new ID unless you change that one to something else. But, if you can get back into your old ID and change it to a new email address, then you can go on using that old ID, and just manually move the iCloud stuff you added to your new ID back onto the old one. Most of the stuff (like Contacts, Calendar, Notes) can be added by logging onto https://www.icloud.com on your Mac and doing it that way (it is a lot simpler when you have an actual keyboard in my opinion)

Hello, I have just bought Photoshop elements 13, What I am looking to do is make a green summer picture look like snow scene, I see on the internet how to do this with CS5 but cant find how to change in Elements, can you help me please?

Hi John I tried the link but it looked to unrealistic in the photo. I guess its just having the cheaper version of Photoshop, can't expect miracles. I watched a YouTube video of a guy altering a summer pic to a winter pic using CS5, the end result was excellent, he seemed to be using the colour Channels which Elements doesn't seem to have. Thanks for your help. I might have a go see what I can find out in Elements Village.
Have you ever tried doing this with CS? Making a snow scene?

Yes. Your data are stored in your hard drive, and the battery is not required for the hard drive to keep its data.
However, you may want to google for information about how to store a battery for an extended period - "winter" is a long time, and batteries do run down when left sitting on a shelf.

You must create the account using an Apple device, a Mac (Lion or greater) or an IOS device (IOS5 or greater). Having done that you will be able to sign in from your Windows machine.
FYI, iCal is an application that can display calendars from iCloud (and others) it is not a calendar itself, merely a calendar client. In Windows Outlook is the calendar client.

Answering the Iphone in the winter

Did anyone try using gloves to answer the Iphone? Whats the solution for the winter?? At least if we could answer calls pressing any button....

I thought both answers were good.
Only other thing I could say is don't answer the phone but when you get inside utilize the voicemail features of the iPhone to retrieve the message.
I did not answer my pre-iPhone cellular in the dead of winter and being outside. I am not about to change my approach to cold weather and answering the phone.

Anyone please give me some idea on the following:
How the system time changes (during winter change/daylight saving) affect the data/database/redo/archive/recovery ?
How the timestamp is maintained in this case?
Say system time gives you 2am
at 4 am you change it back to 2am.
Now,after four hours the system time will be 4am again.
How the timestamp of archive logs generated at those two 4am's are managed?
Will that create a problem while doing "recovery until time" ?

if you use recover until time, I advise you to do it with timezone explicitely set, because "30.10.2005 02:30:00 Europe/Zurich" is not unique.
to avoid that, you can use ERROR_ON_OVERLAP_TIME in your session, or always specify UTC time like "30.10.2005 02:30:00 +02:00" or "30.10.2005 02:30:00 +01:00"

When converting from summer to winter time (with one double hour) for the ABAP stacks action needs to be taken to make sure no problems arise. For the ABAP stacks there are several possibilities; e.g. see /people/tikkana.akurati/blog/2009/12/09/daylight-saving-time-and-slowing-down-the-time
What about the JAVA stacks however? Is it OK to keep them running.>Or does action need to be taken for JAVA systems to? And what if there is JAVA <-> ABAP communication and the ABAP stack is set to slow time during this hour?
Can anyone advise on this?

Well it is no more necessary to stop an ABAP system when coming back to winter time.
Check OSS note 950114 about system parameter zdate/DSTswitch_contloctime
For the JAVA stack, as there is no functional data in the database, I don't think there is anything to do.
You might get strange logs files but who cares ? Java logs files are already so strange !

Switch from daylight saving time to winter time

Hello,
Can somebody describe why it is recommended (note 7417) to shut down the system for a little over two hours? Why is is not enough to deactivate the system 5 minutes before last daylight saving time hour has started and activate it when the winter time is started? Why should we wait until the first hour of winter time has ended?
Note 7417 gives the following example:
'If the hour from 2:00 to 3:00 occurs twice when you change to standard time, you must deactivate the system from 01:55:00 AM until 3:05 AM"
It is not clear, why the system cannot be activated at 2:05 AM after the time is switched...

IDOC date interval for Profile values during Summer/winter change

Hi SDNers,
I have a Mail-to-IDoc Scenraio, where I need to import profile values with 15 min time intervals. Everything is OK except for the date of Summer/Winter change. For example the normal day has 96 intervals where the Day during which Summer->Winter time change occurs must contain 100 intervals. I tried the combination in various ways but in vain. I recieve SQL dup rec error or Invalid date error. Any suggestions how to implement this in an efficient manner.

Winter time issue w. iCal on web

Next week all my iCal entries are off by one hour when they are published on my .Me account (they are one hour late and do not match what I see on my laptop). We switch from summer to winter time this weekend in Sweden, so I am sure it has something to do with this, but I do not know how to correct it. The Cal is ok the week after next, so it is really odd!

Coupled to the use if iCal Publish (a small extra program). No longer a problem when I stopped using this extra program.
