Wireless Synchronization in Desktop contact list properties is by default showing "Not Available", Not able to change also

In my Blackberry 8520 - Curve model, Wireless Synchronization in Desktop contact list properties (Go to Contacts, select options, select Desktop) is by default showing "Not Available" and not allowing to change also. My other colleagues are having the options.
My basic issue is that Outlook contact details are not getting syncronized with Blackberry. I believe this is the root cause for the same. Please guide to resolve the issue.

Are you setup on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server? With the Desktop service book appearing it seems you were on one. If you are still on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server, I would suggest creating a full backup with BlackBerry Desktop Software: www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB33505
Then proceed with a security wipe by going to Options>Security>Security Wipe and then contact your network service provider to generate a new Enterprise Activation password. Then proceed with the enterprise activation by going to Options>Advanced Options>Enterprise Activation.
Once the activation is completed, test out the wireless synchronization of the contacts.

Please Help. I have two Desktop Contact Lists on my Blackberry

Ok, so I recently got a new BB Curve 8530i and restored a backup file I had created from an old blackberry that had my address book, calender, etc. Everything worked except that now I have two Desktop Contact Lists on my blackberry, one that has three contacts that I had manually put into Oulook on my desktop and another that has the 1300+ from my restored file.
Problem is only the first one (with the three contacts) will synch with outlook and I cannot find a way to either combine the two or get them both to synch.
Anyone have any solutions??

I think you will need to restore your shuffles software, by clicking on restore button in Itunes.

Make sure the device is powered on and connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular network. Then contact the previous owner and ask them to follow these steps:

i forgot to erase the phone.i just removed it without erasing.

To transfer your data and settings to a new device see http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2109. You can also use an app like My Contacts Backup to back up the contacts on your phone as attachment to an email that you send to yourself. If you need to, you can later open this email on your new phone and tap the attachment to import your contacts.

You would have to change your Apple ID back to your old hotmail address (https://appleid.apple.com ) in order to turn off "Find My iPhone" and change the iCloud ID. After you changed it back and verified your old hotmail address you should be able turn off "Find My iPhone" and to temporarily delete your iCloud account from your devices. After that you can change your Apple ID back to your gmail address again. After it is verfied, you could add back your iCloud account by using your gmail address.

yes after I imported my .cr2 raw files into new catalog it started to work. Windows 7 still does not recognize them but I can edit them as you said within the Lr5.6 and then export them into .psd or .dng files...as needed.
I bought Lr5 only because I got present - my new camera Cannon 70D and because my older Photoshop CS5.5 raw plugin does not recognize. cr2 files.

Synchronizing Torch 9800 contact list with my Playbook

I am trying to avoid retyping all my contacts on my Torch 9800 into the Contact on my Playbook. Is there a way to port them from my phone to the Playbook and then sychronize them so when one changes, it automatically changes the other?

Adding caller with name and number from call list to the contact list only inserts the number and not the name

I recently bought a BlackBerry Z10 and moved my cell service to Rogers to take advantage of the name display service offered by Rogers (Fido also offers this service).
Due to the number of calls that I receive from first time clients, I wanted the name display service to help me know who was calling. Evidently it is impossible to add clients to my contact list before they call me so I'm constantly seeing numbers that have no name to help me decide if I want to answer the call.
When I try to add a caller from my call list to my contact list, only the number gets inserted in the new contact. The name needs to be entered manually.
I understand and realize that not all call display formats are the same and that it's virtually impossible to parse the first and last names from the name portion of the caller id.
However, I would like to see BlackBerry add the functionality to insert the name portion of the call entry from the caller list to a "Nickname" entry in the contact list just like it adds the number to a "Home", "Mobile", or "Work" entry in the contact list.
If a user doesn't have a name display service, there would be no change to how their contacts are added because there is no name variable to copy over.
Can someone from BlackBerry please let me know if this feature can be added to BB10 and when it can be added? For me it's an obvious feature that should just work.
I am really enjoying my Z10 but I'm feeling let down that something so logical and helpful is not supported out of the box.

It appears that you are not aware of the fact that both Rogers and Fido offer name AND number display service (although the name display feature is an add-on service) and have been offering it for many years (since 2006). Here is a link to the name display service description of each provider...

My BlackBerry Z10 shows both the name and number when someone calls (and the caller is not in my contact list).
All I would like is for the Z10 (and Q10) to support the addition of the name and number from the caller list to my contact list without me having to type the name. As I mentioned in my original post, to avoid the OS having to parse the first name and last name from the name portion of the caller list entry the name could simply be added to the contact list as a "Nickname". If your provider only has number display, nothing would have to be copied from the name variable in the caller list to the contact list.
I find it difficult to believe that BlackBerry would not be aware of this name display service since it's been around since 2006 with both Rogers and Fido.
I hope I have clarified the reasons why I would like to have this feature added to BB10 and how it's surprising that this simple feature is not already a part of the BB10 OS.
Either way, I don't think this is a difficult feature for the BlackBerry team to add. They're just copying a 2nd variable from the caller list to the contact list.
I'm surprised that Rogers hasn't asked BlackBerry to add this feature to their phones. I think it would be a popular feature for those who receive a high number of calls from first time callers.
How can I get this feature request to BlackBerry for their consideration?

How do I locate contact list? It no longer shows up automatically

List on left side of page no longer discloses contacts, not even the longer list that appears when I click on "buzz." Contact information must be hiding somewhere else.

If you have AdblockPlus installed, disable it and see if the contact list re-appears in Gmail.
There's an ABP filter subscription that is blocking parts of Gmail.

BPM properties not able to change in PI 7.3

I am working on the BPM, version PI 7.3.
I am facing problem with BPM properties. I am unable to change the properties. (Example: Send step Mode property by default is set to Async, I want change it to Sync). Let me know if any one faced similar problem and whatu2019s the solution.

I have just downloaded the upgrade from Mountain Lion to Yosemite. In the process i am now unable to gain access to iTunes. The app on desktop no longer works and the install is not able to be opened.

Not able to change the desktop background

I have a MAC 27inch MID 2011
OS X 1O.8.2
The problem is when I try to change the Desktop Background is says loading images,the mouse pointer has now changed to a revoling disc and I am unable to select anything ,for me to get out of it I need to force quit the System Preferences Icon on the Dock.

I have checked with othe Lumia 800 also observed same issues.
Do you think that this is the low end phone?
Whatever the issues i have raised all those are very basic requirements. And for your information those are available in normal ordinary phones (symbian os phones).
This is the smartphone having Rs.13000 cost. and i give extra care & respect to my phone.
How can you say that without any homework did i raised the question?
Whatever i mentioned the issues those are only i faced. I think lot more which i have not used/ observed.
And finally could you pls tell me what are the issues are not generally true?

BB Torch contact list issue

I have a Blackberry Torch 9860. I have 3 email addresses currently being used on my Blackberry: 2 are gmail accounts, and 1 is for work. I would like to have each email address sync contact lists separately. So far, I have only been able to sync the contact lists for the gmail accounts. When I added the work email address to my phone, it did not create a contact list. When I plugged it into my PC to sync via Blackberry Desktop Manager, it told me it cannot sync contacts because I must turn wireless sync off.
I need to be able to wirelessly sync my 2 gmail accounts, but I would also like to sync my work email contacts via Desktop Manager, and not drop those contacts into my gmail lists.
Can someone tell me how to create a contact list for my work email address, and allow it to sync without turning off my wireless syncing for my gmail lists?

With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.
Does it remain at 1/10? I wouldn't worry about it.
You can always completely wipe the device if you want , that will rid you of them.

Receiving IMs from people outside my contact list

I am receiving IM's from people that I do not know even though I have selected my Privacy Settings to Allow IMs from People in my Contacts List ONLY! This feature does NOT work. Please fix this feature to protect all of us!

Skype does not provide for a way not to receive contact invitations, or to "opt out" of receiving contact requests.
